I like how the thugs dressed as soldiers aren’t even very rude just nervous
My favourite was the Dark Elf taking everything except the boots. Like, after the armor itself, I'd argue the boots are the most important piece. Imagine walking around the colder parts of Skyrim in bare feet.
I allways liked to have a persuade option if your are "thane/hight lv, etc" of the city ruling those lands where u encounter them.

@@Erians777 one other option is if you joined the civil war either as imperials you can say general Tullius didn't put orders here or something along those lines and if you joined the stormcloaks you just tell them off but both will result in them fighting and killing them

The best part about the thugs disguised as Imperials is that if you're in the Legion yourself when you run into them you get a unique dialogue option where you grill them for being such obvious fakers.

The Flying Wizard seems to be a throwback to the Morrowind days. In Morrowind, there is this enchanter/wizard called Tarhiel, which you encounter him falling from the sky near a road not far from the starting point of the game. He has these scrolls that increase your acrobatics by 1000 points.

One time I found the Drinking Revelers literally beating each other to death for no reason. The one that remained alive then gave me a bottle of mead.
You can get a charmed necklace from that encounter. When he offers you a bottle of Honningbrew, if you have one in your inventory, you can offer it to him & he has a unique response & gives you an amulet that reduces your carry weight restrictions.
I had revelers outside of winterhold get replaced by vampires with the revelers corpses hidden just out of sight using the revelers clothing and act to lure people in to eat.

@@ThrE3-GeS I've actually had both types of encounters from the reveling drinkers in just one play-through, the more time you spend along the mountains just south of Solitude the more you see them (they must have a high spawn rate there). Once there were 3 fighting until 1 stood then started the normal prompt with me, a week later nearby there were 4 this time all laying dead next to a few dead Thalmor agents and 2 dead wolves - I had just missed whatever encounter they had with each other, one of the revelers had a couple bottles of mead they usually offer and the blessed necklace they always carry. All my other playthroughs with them have just been the standard encounter for them, I think the others are flukes.
I'm so rich in my current playthrough. If I see Deep-In-His-Cups, in this playthrough, he's getting the 10,000 gold. He got the hat. Dude's a legend. Edit: It happened. I went from 140k to 130k. Definitely worth it. What will Deep-In-His-Cups do next?

I had an encounter where a boy walked up to me in the wild near a dwemer ruin, and he offered me dwemer scrap for some gold. I'm almost certain it wasn't a mod cause it was actually voiced like all the other kids

Yeah those kids run near markarth's orc stronghold. Quite ballsy since the reach is the most dangerous place in Skyrim with all the reachmen and such

In one of my games the traveling pilgrim and her dog doesn't even travel anymore, she just stays outside of whiterun stables insulting him occasionally

he makes jokes or comments about stuff that happened during each games development. like a glitch with infinite butterflies. or in oblivion about "billy" not fitting in a breadbox. if the community complained about something enough Maiq usually has a comment about it too. ie the comment about other people because the elder scrolls isn't co-op. in oblivion he has a comment about the lack of dragons or that he can now wear boots after the community hated the loss of beast feet

I remember getting the Deeps-In-His-Cups encounter for the first time like 5 months ago, he stopped me near Rorikstead And then hours later i walk out of riften and i found his dead body, i was actually kinda sad since we were drinking buddies (even tho we forget)

As a skyrim player who have been playing since 2017, I can confidently say that this video shows me that I still haven't played enough skyrim.
Don't fast travel as much, stick to the roads, and don't just ride past everything on your horse. It won't take long to see most of these. Some have prerequisites though, like finishing a certain quest or having a certain item in your inventory. I think the Challenger wizard only shows up if you have a mage based skill at a certain level, for example.

There's one you missed where a wandering Chef called Balbus will tell you that he's collecting ingredients to give to the Gourmet because he's his biggest fan. If you've advanced far enough through the dark brotherhood questline then you can impersonate the gourmet and he'll give you some exotic ingredients, or if you kill him he'll drop a unique named item called Balbus' fork.
If you kill something near a reveler (like a dragon or wolf) they have unique dialogue where they praise you and they will give you an expensive item instead of a beer. edit: I was mistaken.
I think they only give you the item if you offer them Honningbrew Mead

assuming you didn't make it up, you either remember it wrong or had it modded but the latter is unlikely (why would someone mod a random encounter). So you remember it wrong.
I was only about level 7 on my second playthrough when I encountered the Old Orc. I felt sympathetic to his plight, and offered to fight him. Holy crap, it was actually a fierce battle! In the end, I think I had maybe 5% hp left when I got my first cinematic of the game, jumping up and stabbing him in the chest! I won't lie, I actually bowed to the old orc.

@@dono2926You just have to be good at staying the right distance away to avoid getting hit, or if you're a mage past level 30 you'll be overpowered anyway. Battles are long but I prefer that.
The false soldiers were fun to bump into the first time, as there had been a sabre cat they'd joined in on fighting with me. I was playing an Imperial (and planned to join the legion) so I was happy to meet what I thought was a small band of Imperials in a random encounter. Then I noticed the bodies. So I figured, to keep the corpses company, the thugs could join them.
Ive never encountered, Babette, dead bandit's horse, or the vampire ambush. Another encounter is when a bandit asks you to hold some random enchanted item, followed by a mercenary finding you and asking about it. You have the choice of denying or keeping the item between them
Babette can be encountered if you go down the dark brotherhood quest line
I was entering a cave and out of nowhere, a bandit fell from the sky right in front of me, great game.
Theres of a pair of boots that i dropped on a bridge outside honeying brew. Next time i was there they had floated up 15 ft in the air and thats where they stayed. I always look for my boots on the way by.
I was taking the hard way up a snowy mountain and stopped for a second, only for a dead horse to randomly spawn and start sliding down the mountain towards me.
m'aiq the liar is definitely my favourite, i'm always bumping into him and his dialog is quite funny
He once had 24 bottles of skooma on him. You can pickpocket him without a bounty

When it came to Taron Dreth, I made sure to have an empty Black Soul Gem and then killed Taron with the Mace Of Molag Bal. Afterwards, I used the Filled Black Soul Gem (with Taron’s soul inside) to recharge the Mace and sent the treacherous Taron to the Soul Cairn

If you're dressed in nightingale armor or thieves guild armor for the thief encounter, he has different unique dialogue. In thieves guild armor, he says your his brother and gives you coin. You can also tell them you're in the thieves guild to stop him from fighting you If you're wearing nightingale armor, they'll say "Hail Nightingale! Luck has shined down on me and made me a rich man. Here is your cut, as promised. Good luck out there!"
Special mention about the drinking companions, you can actually offer them similar bottle of honningbrew if you have any in your inventory and they will give you an enhanced amulet. But if you offer them a bottle of black briar mead, they will eventually turn hostile and attack you

You forgot a couple, Sigar, Namira's ring random encounter, then you forgot the bandits next to a dead woman who hoped to reclaim her stolen necklace, you also forgot a 2 CLASSICS, a group of stormcloak soldiers and a group of Legion solders, sometimes both at the same time fighting each other, or stormcloaks/legionnaires fighting Forsworn

If you already have a bottle of Honningbrew Mead on you when you encounter the Revelers and offer them the bottle, that will get you a Charmed Necklace, a unique necklace with a Fortify Carry Weight enchantment that you can disenchant.
Yes, that's right. But it's only semi-unique. It's unique in the sense that's the only way to get it, but not unique in that there can be more than one in the same playthrough. You can run into the Revelers again, and provide a bottle of Honningbrew yet again. And other items that aren't unique can be disenchanted for the Fortify Carry Weight enchantment.

He's called a liar by his familiars because he seems so be saying random stuff when in reality, he's teasing the next elder scrolls game. The Oblivion Maiq for example tells you that you're gonna meet dragons(which is seemingly a lie but comes true in Skyrim)
The Dark Brotherhood encounter actually proved that you were the original contract the whole time and the abandoned shack test was a way to clear it and join the ranks (none of the three captives actually had a contract on them).

I think it occurs when you offended people throughout ur play, similar to the hired thugs for example. Because I had several DB assassins after me during my journey before I even spoke to Aventus and have not even stepped inside the orphanage.
That line "Skyrim was once the land of many butterflies!" is a reference to when Bethesda screwed up and disabled insect spawning in the overworld! I remember those days...dark times...

There is another encounter you can get but out of the near 12 years I've been playing Skyrim, I think I've gotten it maybe 3 times. This guy will run to you for help saying he has been attacked by a vampire and he will ask for a potion to cure him of his infection. You can give him one or he will just go off looking for other people to help him.

It's straight up an ode to Anne Rice's Interview With A Vampire, up to, and including Babette's name. Lestat the Vampire breaks a cardinal rule and turns a 10 year old child named Babette into a vampiric child. It's kind of sadistic, which fits the vibe of IWTV. If you haven't read it, I totally recommend reading the book.

I love how I’ve gotten most of these encounters even though I haven’t played much Skyrim, I just hardly fast travel 😂 also, with the revellers, if you say something along the lines of “why have one drink when you can have two?” He’ll compliment you on your drinking spirit and kindness and give you a gift! A charmed necklace, not sure if it changes at higher levels 😃

If you tell the Stray Dog to go home and then follow him, he'll lead you to a small shack with his dead owner and a note
Surprised they didn't include The Traveler. I guess it is because there's no dialogue with him, he just attacks. When you meet the Revelers choose the option to share your Honningbrew mead with them (assuming you have some), they will offer you a necklace that give you a +25 fortify carry weight.
I've gotten Deep In His Cups twice in one playthrough. The second time he came up while I was fighting a dragon which got me killed since his dialog left me frozen while the dragon attacked.

About that wizard challenger. I never met him at all until my 4th or 5th playthrough. In which I had no idea what going on and smash him with my sword all the same.

Also if you meet thief in Skyrim while be a member of thief’s guild you can tell him about it and he will free you. Also if you have equipped thief’s guild armor he will give gold to you

The permanent random encounters (before the patch) are Balbus, Old Orc, Frightened Woman, Revelers, Aspiring Mage, Ardwen, and Sigar. Most of the encounters which are shown here are not unique. A unique encounter is when a requirement is met or completed such as Deep-In-His-Cups after A Night to Remember is done.

That makes sense. I have a mod that makes these random encounters occur a bit more frequently to liven up the province a bit. Luckily it only effects the appearance of NPCs without a name such as “old Orc” or “frightened woman”. Wouldn’t Ardwen be a unique encounter because it only happens when you’ve completed the Gildergleem? Wouldn’t Sigar also be a unique encounter because he only appears after you become the Champion of Namira?
@@creegangil439 Of course, Ardwen (appears if you take Danica Pure-Spring approach) and Sigar are unique encounters but unlike other unique random encounters, these NPC's are not deleted from the game unless killed. Sigar is very interesting as he is the only NPC you can move into your home in Raven Rock, as long as you move the dead female High Elf there with the dead thrall spell, he will follow. For Ardwen, kindly escort her and the dog all the way near the wagon in front of White Run where she stays for the remainder of the game.

Yesterday I realized you can spare the milkdrinker encounter guy. When he pops the potion and gets downed you can sheath your weapon and he will give up and run away.

I feel like #1 probably happened in a lot of playthroughs but it was at the corner of render and the player didn't even witness it while taking a few minutes to pick flowers in an area or something.
It wasn't just only redguard "milk drinker" it can be Nord as well.
An Old Orc is my favorite encounter. I always give him a "burial" with flowers at a nice scenery later
I haven't tried it myself, but I saw somewhere that if you see the drunken revelers and when he offers you a bottle of Honningbrew Mead, and instead you give him a bottle that you have in your inventory, then he'll give you an enchanted necklace with increased carrying capacity (I think).
