Thank you man seriously, this is my first pc build and you did a very great job going into detail about what goes where. My pc is up and running with all new drivers but I couldn’t use it for the first few days cause it wouldn’t display! I was scared my gpu was fried because the fans weren’t spinning but I just had to reseat my ram. Thank you bro 💻
man please like my comment please if you find it go to the section which is latest comment you will see mine
Ah yeah that happened to me once too it wouldn't post, it was the RAM. RAM is used for the display as well so if that ever happens to you again you know where to look first haha :).
How has the PC been treating you 2 months later ?
@@Lurkin63rdit’s been working good with 32g, I tried to upgrade to 64 with the same sticks but it wasn’t compatible. Idk why exactly maybe bad ram idk but I’m back to 32 and it’s working just fine.
@@randomguy822you’ll want to double check the motherboard specs to see how much ram the board can handle per slot. It’s getting pretty common for a mobo to handle 32GB per slot but it’s not always the case. I’m assuming your using a 2 slot mobo.
Looks really good! The 7600/6700 XT combo is great. Good build 👍
It’s a neat combo indeed!
@@ScatterVolt Sorry is it possible if you could link the pc case in white? Thanks probably gonna build it for my first pc
Hey man. Just stumbled on a graphics card tier list you made last month and remembered your name. I am happy to see you’re still making videos and it seems being great with your fans. I haven’t seen your videos since the bowl cut days and it looks like you have come a long way. Congratulations on everything you deserve it
You must be in your thirties then haha
@@ScatterVolt Nah man i’m 22 😂😭 watched you before i built my first pc with w g3258 and gtx 750ti when i was young. Super happy to see you’re still uploading and replying to all comments.
@@jahse7814 you are still young bro🤣
Very nice build. My son has been talking about building a computer like this. Appreciate all the info and a build list.
Thanks for making these budget videos Scatter, I’ve been getting ready to build my 2nd piece so I can play with my daughter now that she’s into PC gaming.. I am thinking I will built in the range of 900-1200$ and these videos helps a lot! Thank you
what a timing. I've been eyeing these 7600 6700xt combo for a while. hats off to you for making the build.
It's a solid combo
just wait for rx 7700 xt to be released
@@TMiK21it’ll be a fair bit more than the rx 6700 xt
@@IsaacCollins-jn3iwgonna be faster than the 6800, but just get the 6800 if you want a card that performs like the 7700 XT, but the 6800 has 16GB VRAM, even better.
@@TMiK21The 7700xt is a complete joke. It’s only $50 cheaper than a 7800xt.
I've been binging your videos lately as I am planning to upgrade from ryzen 3 3300x to ryzen 5 7600x, I like it as it fits to my budget right now and also good for future upgrades.
This is definitely it. It looks so much more expensive than it is, and runs like it too. Thanks for the video, I always appreciate your work.
The case is definitely odd to work with, but that's the tradeoff you get going with a dual chamber style PC case.
The only thing I would recommend is maybe a power supply change I like the 750W good redragon power supply in white for 80$ and the diypc case saving you a little bit of money since it’s 75 after shipping and already having 3 fans with it also a crucial p3 1tb at only 40 bucks Edit: you can even get away with the crucial ddr5 pro kit yes the downside is it’s slightly slower but more then enough for this system and it’s only 80
This would be my future PC build, i researched myself and found 7600x and 6700xt Combo pretty much perfect, thank you though for showcasing the performance and the PC build guide.
Excellent! Thank you!
AWESOME build
Love your work and I need your help. I have a budget of around $1300, I can spend more but I really wanna squeeze as much I can into it (still have to buy those games). I wonder if you could make a video on a budget sim racing setup.
Heres one for like 1.2k, I7 13700k, 32gb 6000mhz ram, theres a ton of used 4070 to 4080 ti for 600 max, motherboard is up to you but i recommend gettin one that can overclock, 2tb ssd, and a 64gb flash drive off amazon which is like 8 bucks
I would recommend getting more of those cheap, silent thermalright fans. It could improve GPU temps significantly and looks better most of the time 😁👍🏻
Unfortunately this case officially only supports 4 fans but you could zip tie two more as intake on the bottom
@@ScatterVolt oh,ok. 4 Fans are fine too 😊👌🏻
Heck of a build scatter
Thank you mate.
W vid man definitely a great budget that also comes with a very power packed system and your video has been helping me learn how to buid a pc because i will be building one next month
I’m glad I could help!
Very curious to know how those thermalright fans perform and how quiet they really are for the price. Looking at the fans and cooler currently but worried about noise and if it's worth going for something more expensive.
I have been seeing the 6700xt for like 2 weeks if I choose to buy it, and this video made me say absolutely yes
It’s a top tier GPU for the money if you don’t care about ray tracing or AV1
General Kenobi, I really love your builds and videos and the way you go step by step and in detail to explain the build when assembling it. I was looking for CL32 5600Mhz RAM alternatives but was not able to find any. What alternative RAM set would you use for this particular buid? Thanks in advance.
Any kit that you like that has that speed and CAS latency will work
Nice build man! But I noticed at 8:15 you didn't pull up the dimm slot lever on the other side, hope that ram was ok.
What does that mean?
This is decently similar to DDR5 builds I did 12700KF and 12900KF 7900XTX past few months. It's nice to see that 1000 price point though.
This build looks great, and it’s exactly what I’m looking for. But can you make this in an ITX? 😊
Looks like a great build! Quick question does it make a difference using a m.2 WiFi card vs pci e one?
Not surprised you had to settle for an alternate motherboard. That's the way the microcenter dice rolls. They really don't have the massive plethora of options that people think they do. Still a super fun store to shop but if you go with a shopping list in hand it's very likely you'll have to choose alternatives to what you wanted. Wish they actually had more PC parts than they do mouse pads and toys and crap. BTW best PC building channel I've found. Not even building right now but I just can't stop watching pc building videos. Like an addiction.
It just happened to be the day I showed up, none of those units I wanted were in stock. Usually I get what I want.
I like u and your video it is so amazing.
I was rewatching your AP-201 build and have to ask How did you link the Power Supply with zipties? I’ve been thinking of doing this build but don’t fully understand it. Great video as always!😊
You just gotta do it.
Ima save this for later. 100% gonna use this build when I get money saved up.
Awesome. I might update this build though if the RX 7600 XT is faster than the RX 6700 XT I used from this video!
@@ScatterVoltdid you end up changing anything from this build on your website list ?
Good vid
Dude works out
I hope that when u can get hands on either 7700xt or 7800xt u make a great pc build
I have them in the studio already for a review video
thank you so much
You're welcome
Hey man i think you linked the wrong case in the description but amazing video regardless. It's a really good guide for my 1k pc build (which will be my first build ever). +1 Sub
I just check. It’s right. I have a white and then black version of the Q300L linked.
I believe you looked at the wrong description then because this build doesn't use the Q300L and it's not what shows up when you click the case link. Maybe i'm just blind tho idk@@ScatterVolt
@@Vibricksit’s the right one man i bought it. same thing as video.
Something you didn't include is the mention of the Radeon RX 6700 xt gpu having a 650 watt minimum and you linking a 600w power supply, over all really helpful, I happened to buy all the parts listed without checking watt requirements of the hardware (silly me.) Thanks ScatterVolt keep rockin
Did you build it yet and if so is it worth?
@@dylan4800 built it and the only compatibility issue is the psu not being able to accommodate the gpu, so if you do buy and build get a 750w power supply just to be safe since the recommended gpu calls for 650. still waiting on my power supply but from what I can tell this is a very powerful build that has a lot of future proofing
any update a month later on performance? @@shlime_mp4
how has the build been treating you so far?@@shlime_mp4
By any chance do you know that exact case you have because i love it and i am trying to make a 1/1 copy of this build but every time i click on the case it brings me to a similar one in black thank you so much and i love your videos.
I have rx6700xt with a 3600x it goes perfect for my need. So I would say anyone wanting to play 1080p max settings does a great job with 6700xt and is future proof.
Awesome video I'm thinking about building my first PC and this was super informative. But I personally am thinking about buying a 2TB NVME and I'm okay with having less RAM since like you said 32 is overkill, is their any good switches for these 2 that you would recommend to still work with the rest of this build?
Well DDR5 is weird. The price difference between 16gb and 32gb is like $10. Get 32gb nonetheless.
32gb isnt a overkill go with it
I love ur videos so much You such a good person Can you please tell me the name of your monitor?
I wouldn't recommend it. It's old.
I was thinking about buying this, is there anything you would change now?
Hey Scatterrvolt, How long does an AIO last if pc is being used regularly for an hour or a day ?
HOLY SHIET I literally built this same set up 1 month agoo. where were you when I needed a build with this caseee!!!!!! 😩
case link?
later a 800 am5 build can be good to see hope the ryzen 5 7500f is coming very soon i have some issue so my budget decrease to that
I'm waiting for it to drop here in the US too
is there a different white case you recommend I couldn't find the white version of the gim gm3 from the link
Awesome build! With this build if you could throw an extra 500 in it, what upgrades would u do?
I have a recent $1500 gaming pc build guide on my channel lol
I’m looking to build something like this, but thinking of trading up to the PowerColor 6750 xt that my local microcenter has in stock. Would that change any of the requirements for the build?
they need a microcenter in either phoenix or portland. i live in both cities depending on what time of year. closest one is either tustin or denver i think
Hey quick question so the ram sticks are not available on amazon ca right now any alternatives?
is there any case good for this build? Cuase this pc case is currently unavailable on amazon
Able to grasp a lot from your videos. Helps a lot for us beginners! Would changing the 6700xt for the 6800xt be beneficial here as we get more Vram, which is more "future proof"? Especially if the price drops after the new amd 7800xt releases..which still has to been seen of course.
*for the 6800 or 6800xt
Getting a faster graphics card = More gaming performance 🤷
6800 XTs are low in stock and due to the arrival of the 7800 XT, it isn’t worth it anymore, especially the fact that it consumes more than 300W of power.
Save more money and get yourself an Nvidia that will be future proof. Even if its costs a bit more, save up and get it. 6700 wont do jack for today's games.
@@CP-fz4sryou don't know shit about PC building, stfu.
Do you think it matters which manufacturer you go with on the 6700xt? I recently picked up a used MSI Mech 2x version and I’m really pleased with it.
9 times out of 10 no
@@ScatterVoltthe power color version has a minimum 650w requirement and the psu u linked was a 600w, which I got, how would I go about fixing this?
I can't choose a new ssd i currently only have one 256gb sata and i my brother is telling me to buy a samsung ssd and that i don't need 2tb (i know that i don't need 2tb but the difference in price is not that big for double the storage). I don't know which one is best these are the ones i am watching Samsung 990 pro 1tb-92€(~100$), Samsung 980 pro 2tb-125€(~136$) and Samsung 990 pro 2tb-144€(~156$) And you already helped me twice, you're the GOAT!
Is it worth staying on AM4 if I can get the 5600x3d ram and mobo bundle for 275 (after new customer microcenter coupon). Im still set on getting 6700xt would just upgrade it in a few years.
Hey man I challenge you to build a 1000 mini-atx build with NO MODS. Also love your vids its very educational and easy to follow
No mods? I didn’t mod anything on this pc haha.
Hi ScatterVolt. New PC builder here. Question. Will GIM Micro ATX PC Case with 2 Tempered Glass Panels Mini Tower Gaming PC Case Micro ATX Case with 2 Magnet Dust Filters, Gaming Computer Case with USB3.0 I/O Port, Black Without Fans work the same as a Micro ATX Case, Mini-ITX Gaming PC Case 2 Tempered Glass Panels & Front Panel Micro ATX PC Case Mini Tower Computer Case USB 3.0 I/O Port, Rhythm Surround Light, Water-Cooling Ready? The case with your link is different from the one you work on in the video so I wasn't sure if it would work.
I was about to say "no cable mods" good job
Thanks
I just encountered this video and do you have a replacement cooler for the cup cooler you linked? It isn’t in stock anymore
Would you got with a 7600 XT today over 6700 xt?
For 1080p gaming, is the ryzen 5600 and RX 6700 XT a good combo?
An AM4 build is cheaper so you can fit a 7700xt in it, would this be worth it?
would the Lian Li LANCOOL 205M MESH MicroATX Mini Tower Case be a better choice than the case used in the video since its similar and has 2 140mm fans installed?
What makes you think it isn’t a better choice?
I never expected to see Ben Afleck building a 1000$ gaming pc.
this video is so awsome but i would love to see i video where he uses used parts on this budget .
Problem with that is not everyone can repeat a used pc parts list due to varying availability and prices
You forgot to mention this build has a solid upgrade path
yoo amazing build i have a question the ddr5 ram you used is intel xmp certified with an AMD cpu? im trying to understand that because i cant seem to find that model of ram but amd expo for my build
Xmp works on AMD
@@ScatterVolt thanks bro huge fan

Should of got Intel 13600k it's best for gaming and it's cheap for it price
I just refreshed my pc build with 5600x, 6700xt by xfx, and 32 gigs of 3600mhz ddr4 ram. Big improvement over the 3600 and a rtx 3060 with 16 gigs of 2400mhz.
You said that it was for gaming and content content creation. Can this type of Pc be good for video editing as well and hold memory for video and as well as streaming?
I wonder if video editing and streaming are considered forms of content creation? Hmm 🤔
Good guide however i found a case that looks better (ionz k-900) Edit:i manged to make a full setup list for around £1.3k Keep up the great work
@scattervolt you think subbing out the ryzen 5 for a 7 5800x would be fine? And swapping the rx6700 for the 10g one ?
Its fine but the ryzen 5 5800x is not needed for a graphics card thats not very high end.( it might bottleneck)
