  • Thank you man seriously, this is my first pc build and you did a very great job going into detail about what goes where. My pc is up and running with all new drivers but I couldn’t use it for the first few days cause it wouldn’t display! I was scared my gpu was fried because the fans weren’t spinning but I just had to reseat my ram. Thank you bro 💻

    • Ah yeah that happened to me once too it wouldn't post, it was the RAM. RAM is used for the display as well so if that ever happens to you again you know where to look first haha :).

    • @@Lurkin63rdit’s been working good with 32g, I tried to upgrade to 64 with the same sticks but it wasn’t compatible. Idk why exactly maybe bad ram idk but I’m back to 32 and it’s working just fine.

    • @@randomguy822you’ll want to double check the motherboard specs to see how much ram the board can handle per slot. It’s getting pretty common for a mobo to handle 32GB per slot but it’s not always the case. I’m assuming your using a 2 slot mobo.

    • The case is definitely odd to work with, but that's the tradeoff you get going with a dual chamber style PC case.

    • The only thing I would recommend is maybe a power supply change I like the 750W good redragon power supply in white for 80$ and the diypc case saving you a little bit of money since it’s 75 after shipping and already having 3 fans with it also a crucial p3 1tb at only 40 bucks Edit: you can even get away with the crucial ddr5 pro kit yes the downside is it’s slightly slower but more then enough for this system and it’s only 80

  • Heres one for like 1.2k, I7 13700k, 32gb 6000mhz ram, theres a ton of used 4070 to 4080 ti for 600 max, motherboard is up to you but i recommend gettin one that can overclock, 2tb ssd, and a 64gb flash drive off amazon which is like 8 bucks

  • I would recommend getting more of those cheap, silent thermalright fans. It could improve GPU temps significantly and looks better most of the time 😁👍🏻

  • Not surprised you had to settle for an alternate motherboard. That's the way the microcenter dice rolls. They really don't have the massive plethora of options that people think they do. Still a super fun store to shop but if you go with a shopping list in hand it's very likely you'll have to choose alternatives to what you wanted. Wish they actually had more PC parts than they do mouse pads and toys and crap. BTW best PC building channel I've found. Not even building right now but I just can't stop watching pc building videos. Like an addiction.

  • Something you didn't include is the mention of the Radeon RX 6700 xt gpu having a 650 watt minimum and you linking a 600w power supply, over all really helpful, I happened to buy all the parts listed without checking watt requirements of the hardware (silly me.) Thanks ScatterVolt keep rockin

    • @@dylan4800 built it and the only compatibility issue is the psu not being able to accommodate the gpu, so if you do buy and build get a 750w power supply just to be safe since the recommended gpu calls for 650. still waiting on my power supply but from what I can tell this is a very powerful build that has a lot of future proofing

  • Able to grasp a lot from your videos. Helps a lot for us beginners! Would changing the 6700xt for the 6800xt be beneficial here as we get more Vram, which is more "future proof"? Especially if the price drops after the new amd 7800xt releases..which still has to been seen of course.

    • 6800 XTs are low in stock and due to the arrival of the 7800 XT, it isn’t worth it anymore, especially the fact that it consumes more than 300W of power.

  • I can't choose a new ssd i currently only have one 256gb sata and i my brother is telling me to buy a samsung ssd and that i don't need 2tb (i know that i don't need 2tb but the difference in price is not that big for double the storage). I don't know which one is best these are the ones i am watching Samsung 990 pro 1tb-92€(~100$), Samsung 980 pro 2tb-125€(~136$) and Samsung 990 pro 2tb-144€(~156$) And you already helped me twice, you're the GOAT!

The case with your link is different from the one you work on in the video so I wasn't sure if it would work.

    • Its fine but the ryzen 5 5800x is not needed for a graphics card thats not very high end.( it might bottleneck)

  • Just wanna let you know that there is no rgb header on that motherboard so the fans work but not the rgb lighting. Will need a controller for rgb. That goes for the cooler you recommend as well. Ive been pulling my hair out about why my rgb is not working and thats why.
