  • Wow, it is mind-boggling how someone with vision, experience, and skill can transform a small space into something so functional and attractive! If I had a need, I would definitely try to hire you. Thank you for sharing your work with us.

  • You really killed it! I had no idea there were radiators with integrated mirrors. Mindboggling for small spaces.

    @berlinorama@berlinorama Жыл бұрын
    • I know! I don't know about British homes, but in Ireland they sometimes place the radiators in the most inconvenient places! This is such a cleaver solution, even without the mirror it's just a better way to utilize the space.

  • I just wanted to let you know that you are incredibly talented. Unlike other interior designers who claim to work with small spaces but actually work with larger ones, you truly specialize in making cramped areas beautiful and functional. Your work is amazing!

  • Great and creative solutions for this space! But may I add, having lived in such studios for some time, that there is an element that could have been considered better in the design: everything is centered around the workspace, and the couch faces the work space. I would have done pocket doors and a closet to the ceiling with an opening for the computer screen-tv to hide the workspace so that the mind can rest from work or I would have orientated the couch towards the windows at 90 degrees. Keep up the fabulous work, I always get tons of ideas from your videos and love the computer animations!

  • Have you ever thought of using the computer table as a dining table? If he can attach the screen to the wall the table could be on castors to make it easier to move. I had an Ikea sit stand desk, but swapped it for a Flexispot E7 desk instead. The E7 adjusts in height from 58 cm up to 123cm, and has much more flexibility in table top sizes, so great if you want to use the sofa bed for seating, or as a normal desk or standing height desk/kitchen island. Base will cost around the same as a sit stand desk and separate dining table. You can get a custom top to fit your space.

    • This is a really great suggestion! I wonder if you could fit retractable cord reels... 🤔

    • @@DanielTitchener you could do some cable management beneath and have it just have two one cable . Most tvs can power laptops and the speaker setup could be already attached and setup across the room like the TV. I'd actually be a nice set up

  • As a starting Architect here in the Philippines, your videos really motivated me to design spaces aesthetically and efficiently. Coming from a 3rd world country, budget really affects the overall output of the design. I appreciate that u really considered the practical aspect at the same time making the space way more beautiful than it was before. Thanks Dan! 🔥👊

  • Thank you so much for sharing this, Daniel. Living in council property there are always things that we would rather were different because everything has been done as cheaply as possible, but it's amazing to see what can be achieved by someone who has the expertise and the imagination combined in a space this small. I personally appreciate you sharing these videos which are always entertaining and quite often very educational as well!

  • I love the outcome of this redesign, and I always love your enthusiasm! I have the Norden gateleg table and I quite love it; an option some may like is to use sliders under the legs to move it around (instead of wheels). This keeps the height of the table perfect for working on a laptop while sitting in a regular folding chair. To be fair it's not super easy to slide even with sliders, but not real difficult either, and if you're not moving your table around every day, I think it's a great option. I like how your videos encourage us to think differently about how we use space, it can open up great possibilities!

The bathroom itself is only 4x7 feet, but I feel we created a 'luxury oasis'! I've created a couple videos about my garage transformation process to provide inspiration for small space living!
