I love how this show treats dinosaurs like real animals and not like some mythical beast of prehistoric times.

Man, we HAVE to get more of this. We haven't even remotely gone over the earlier cretaceous period or the Jurassic period. The Morrison formation, Patagonia and North Africa. Spinosaurus, Carcharodontosaurus, Giganotosaurus, Mapusaurus, we NEED to see all of em.

This has to be one of the best moments in nature of our planet was like back in prehistoric times just millions of years ago This series of David Attenborough has it all and I appreciate it so very much with every different kind of dinosaurs

I loved pterosaurs since i was at elementary school i loved pterosaurs but this show made me develop a new love for azhdarchids !!!
I just love how the first time we see the Tyrannosaurus and there is warm music instead of ominous music since it’s an animal
Out of all those amazingly diverse prehistoric creatures, the one that creeped me out, the most was that giant toad, he looked like something that belongs in a low budget black & white late 50s “lost world” adventure flick
The Velociraptor one is so good, that's unbelieveable.
I really appreciate this type of work i really wish they could show more diverse ecosystems tho. Instead of sorta showing single species at a time and the most commonly covered. Imagine if they added ancient crocodile species, the list goes on, I'd love to see all sorts of different animals.

You skipped the baby turtles which are actually not meant to be baby of the giant turtles but another species
You forgot to put the hard shelled turtles , the Hoff man’s mosasaurus and the birds flying on the dreadnoughtus!
The Hoffman's Mosasaur is in there, getting cleaned by the pycnodont fish and the birds flying on the Dreadnaughtus are the enantiornithines that get formally introduced in the Mononykus section! I don't know about the turtles you're talking about though

Prehistoric planet season 2 all creatures
If they did a season 3 which would be it for the show I would want it to be about the other of our planet’s continents Just like the last episode of the second season was about North America this third season will continue with the rest like episode names South America, Africa, Europe and Asia, Australia, and Antarctica and then will other new species of dinosaurs in that I assume if they come out with a third season of prehistoric planet all about the planet’s six other continents 🦖 🌍

Why does mononykus look like a barn owl?
I think it’s a reference to the idea that some small feathered dinosaurs survived the mass extinction events and eventually evolved into modern birds.
Are there jurassic dinosaurs in this documentary?

No, this show seems to only focus on the Late Cretaceous period
If a T rex is 42 feet and 10 tons and a mosasaur is 50 feet and 15 tons how is it the mosasaur twice the size of a t rex.

Dreadnoughtus, first time I saw a Dinosaur that could puff up like a frog. Jurassic World: Dominion was where I saw the Therizinosaurus for the first. This is the second.
I like the narration. I like the imagery. What I don't like is how poor the transition is from one part to another. It's so abrupt. Jarring.

There's literally a crater in the Earth that was from the meteor that caused the K-Pg mass extinction. It's called the Chicxulub Crater.

Looks like you didn't watch literally the first episode, which has an entire segment showing baby Pterosaurs getting picked off by predators.

When the asteroid hit Earth, it caused earthquakes, tsunamis, volcanic eruptions, the cloud the impact caused was so big it covered the whole Earth for years. Sunlight couldn't reach the surface, plants died, herbivores died from the lack of plants, then the carnivores died from the lack of herbivores.
