I do think the scene needs to change though. You yourself said a fan should respect 'his idols'. But they're not ours, and they're artists. The fact the industry pushes for them to be called idols, to cover up any romantic relationships, to push that that they, other human beings, 'belong' to their fans...i know it's the companies and not the artists that push for them to do this but i think it leads to a level of dehumanization and parasocial relationship that can get unhealthy

Recently A Sasang fan of BTS V went to his apartment building and waited until he comes back home, when v went to lift she immediately went into the lift and shows marriage papers to v and asked him to sign. Terrified v rejects her and files a complaint and took legal action against her. This was few months ago .

did you know Ben? There is even a case that many people still remember to this day, which was carried out by an obsessive fan. This case happened to one of the members of TVXQ, U-know Yunho. The person put paper glue into a bottle of orange juice which Yunho then drank. As a result of this action, Yunho had to be rushed to the hospital due to vomiting blood. After that, an investigation was held by the police, and a woman was arrested. After the tragedy, Yunho had a very serious trauma with orange juice, it took him years to get the courage to drink orange juice again like before. Note: I kind of forgot whether that person was a sasaeng fan or an anti-fan. and there is another case that I still remember, I kind of forgot what year this incident was. This case happened to one of the members of EXO, namely D.O (Doh Kyungsoo). A sasaeng fan broke into EXO's dorm to steal D.O's undaware, then sold it on an online site. and another case happened to TAEYEON from Girls Generation, where when Girls Generation performed on stage performing the song Run Devil Run, suddenly an unknown man from the side of the stage grabbed Taeyeon's hand to take Taeyeon away from the stage.

Sadly this isn’t even half of the worst things these kinds of “fans” even do. Like TVXQ’s Yunho getting poisoned by one or s guy trying to legit kidnap an SNSD member mid-performance. Also that Jungkook one is extra triggering because she used video from Headliner. She’s a notorious JK fansite who stalks him and even buys their travel info to take all the same flights and expenses as the boys just to get a glimpse of him. It’s gotten to the point Jungkook gets scared and uncomfortable the second he sees and recognizes her. Most of her videos is him giving her nervous upset looks and she treats it like she’s winning his attention. She even changes fansite names and things to avoid getting caught by Big Hit and Hybe, but sadly he always sees her.

This has nothing to do with being a fan. You have to be able to differentiate between the public artist and the private person. The private lives of idols or actors are none of fans' business. They can love, live, marry, divorce, have children like any other person on this earth.

what is actually insane is the consistency of all this madness throughout the years. It never stops and the idols are very much aware.
It is a vicious cycle between the companies using parasocial relationships as a marketing tool and then having to deal with the consequences. It is so twisted I can't think of way to change course and have a different way of running things after what, six generations soon? Sad state of affairs.

TWICE Nayeon's German psycho sasaeng not only got to be pretty well informed about the group movements & schedule, he also went as far as to get Chaeyoung's phone number, and he has stated that he already (wasted) expended about 3 million dollars trying to get close to the idol (mega-colossal cringe). If true, it could be fair to assume that part of that money went to a black market of personal data.

For me love is:- When you love someone unconditionally and can sacrifice anything for them even tho ur love for them but love is a feeling that comes when we see someone in person or spend time with them us liking or loving an idol isn't love it's attraction there is a scientific reason when we find someone attractive we start to think about them and then our brain make fake scenarios which make us fall for them but that's not real love bcz we all know all the scenarios are fake but our brain doesn't brain cannot differentiate between true love or crush or attraction our love for our idols is something we are getting because we need mental support from our parents and family !! The sasaengs thing let ne explain. There is sasaengs and anti-fans. Both are overly obsessed with the idols but difference is the intentions and feelings behind(don't come at me with sh*t like "there ain't no feelings" one of the main reasons ppl obsess over ppl is trauma+the recuer being put into the idol image...there is more to it. But ppl need to realise that humans need something that makes them behave a specific way) So Sasaengs are overly in love and anti-fans overly hateful. So Sasaengs do anything to get the attention like pulling hair and such. Yes anti-fans could do that too but with them it gets most of the time more severe. Anti-fans are obsessively hateful. One time resulting into the idol getting hospitilized bcs that person put glue into his juice. The difference in intention is if you ask me pretty much on the nose. It is VERY visible. Anti-fans basically want them dead and hurt them. Sasaengs want their love and force themselves into their lives. (There is many things which can cause this..different theories..overall my thougth process says there is multiple "reasons"..not saying it is ok or excusable but that no one is born that way) It is in some ways very similair. Like they both want the attention but with different intentions. Neither I am saying one is better...but for the safety I have to say sasaengs might be...but atvthe same time obsessive love can easily turn into the opposite. So actually not really. I am sorry but I want Ben to know that there is 2 kinds of obsessive fans. Bcs some kpoppies call all of them sasaengs which is just wrong.

Jaejoong (ex tvxq) has gotten photos of him sleeping in his home and has come back to his apartment's door unlocked. Even a few months ago (20 yers into his carreer), he was followed by sasengs on taxis so he had to called them and the taxi drivers out via instagram. Heechul has also shared he received texts from sasaengs showing SJ's apartment and photos of their underwear. He was also in a car accident in 2006 that was also caused by sasengs following SJ after attending donghae father's funeral. Truly weirdos. Literally every idol has had horrible things like that and people just normalize it. They should all be in jail.

Can I mention a few ones that SKZ has had to deal with: 1) Recently staff of SBLS auctioned off their clothes from a fan meet and many other staff gave personal information, like Lee Know's parents address, to friends and lovers who are "fans" 2) A girl threatened to sneak into a concert venue and cut Chan's face off so only she could have his beauty. The FBI got involved and was able to find her. She reportedly had faked stuff that could actually have let her get, not only in the venue, but in the backstage area 3) Not confirmed but supposedly a girl pulled a knife, or threatened to maybe, on Hyunjin in a restaurant when he was out with non idol friends. She supposedly demanded his personal number and talked very vulgarly 4) A girl flashed her chest at Jeongin during a concert and after tried to get backstage. She was arrested for assualt as she fought with many people and the police 5) Many weird people stock Felix's mom's facebook and the social media of the kids' siblings and friends to try to get personal information. One of Lee Knows friends had to private his account because of it 6) I think I can just have all the yandere threats and craziness in the same point. They don't deserve any attention. The amount of times STAYs have had to turn airport or concert venue threats over to the FBI or other countries equivalent is horrifying 7) Crazy Yuna and Lee Know shippers/ Yuna "fans" who threatened to harm Lee Know for "breaking her heart". Also, when some burned pride flags and rainbow paper to get back at Minsung and 2Min shippers because they "forced gay fanservice to make him break her heart". Some of her "fans" even use to yell at him at the airport. (Really glad this died down quickly because omg it was so intense and me, and quite a few people, got doxxed on twt and our families and friends threatened for telling them to chill) 8) The waiter that didn't give, can't remember who's, card back until they got a picture with her. She later posted license plate and car pictures along with the story. Not 100% that this is true but the post and account was deleted a few days later So yeah I think all fandoms have had to deal with these horrifying people but STAYs, I think, especially have had to deal with a lot of sh¡t. It's just another Tuesday when a new airport b0mb threat or fanmeet throwing knife threat come in from these homicidal maniacs and I want to be optimistic that one day it can stop completely. Sadly I am a realist though and know I'll just have to continue working with other fans to try to protect them. I wish there will never be a day when someone slips through our defenses

Just few weeks ago, Stray Kids' clothes were auctioned privately without their knowledge and even Leeknow's home address was sold by the staff and the fan went to his home. Their flight details were also sold and someone took the same flight to meet them in the flight.
