Not really-they’ve got the stanchions between their legs to stop them sliding forward off the boat, and they’re holding on to the rails.

@YungSumGuy fair point, but I spoke from a position of over 30 years of boating (since I was 8 years old) on power boats to sailboats. I've leisure boated and raced extensively from the Caribbean to Canada on boats ranging from 10' to over 80', in weather that ranged up to near hurricane force winds, and I have done EXACTLY what those kids were doing, safely and having fun. Now I may be spoiled because I have participated with people who took their boating responsibilities seriously, and were very experienced, and I have been fortunate to not be involved in a major boating accident. Given the scenarios you posited, I would hope that the kids would have the sense of self preservation to move their legs, and that the captain would also have the foresight to direct the activities of the crew and passengers.

I’ve always liked the appearance of the Midnight Express boats and how it handles the inlet. Freeman’s, Yellow Finns and several others are also very nice

Ahh... Boca Inlet. About 10 minutes from my house. Not as gnarly as Haulover but can get tricky in certain conditions. It’s a dog-leg left going out and a dog-leg right coming in. Over the years there’s been a few boats that unfortunately ended up in the rocks. Great seeing you here! Edit: FYI, if you’d like to watch the boats here at the inlet from your balcony, the new(er) condominiums there on the end of the inlet start at $3-$3.5 Million. 👍

Tritoon. Big difference. You wont see many pontoons with 250hp(i've seen them with 400hp Mercury motors). They actually handle the ocean quite well and are popular in my area(north florida in the gulf).

Liked the Freeman 42' sweet ride. Why are there not more of them out there? Is it the cost? They seem to ride better than the V hulls, never seen one take a bad beating when they come thru haulover? They not sexy enough haha? Any idea the cost of the big HCB? I am sure a couple million?
Freeman’s are expensive but also have something crazy like a 2 year waiting list. Very cool boats.

I must laugh at the last boat; Captain has to race up manning the anchor while the two others just sit on there ass. It is very helpful to have a first mate regardless of the boat size.

Why are they showing printed numbers ?
They were participating in a fishing tournament and they were returning and are required to be in by a certain time. Spotters note the time that they return. Those numbers were assigned to the participants for identification in the tournament.
