Rui didn't play well for PO, however, he played really well before PO and Lakers probably did''t male PO without his work I think. Rui was born and raised in Japan until he was 18 years old. So he has been in this county only for 7 years and his English is amazing now. I can imagine that it's not so easy to be a player in the one of the most popular team with the supper stars. I am Japanese and live in the US for 11 years, but it's so tough to be as a forginer in this country. There are a lot of discrimination and cultural differences. So, I am very proud of Rui to give all Japanese people hope and happiness. Thank you Rui and I will support you forever❤

This dude has serious potential. As a 4th year player, only starting 2 of those years, he just needs more experience. Lakers fans and management are too damn impatient. Between AD, Hachimura, and Reeves the Lakers have a solid young core that they should keep intact and just add to. That Denver team has been playing together longer than the Lakers and are just a better damn team. It’s really that simple.

I am frustrated how this series turns up hurt is the right word.:-( I believe keeping Rui with AR, Vando and AD will be a great is great for this team, I am disappointed with the outcome how I wished they get to win this game and bring another one in Crypto but give credit to Nugs they're the defending champion, in saying Lakers put up a great fight across 5 games. Lakers all the way!!!

All I'm gonna say is Lakers will be making a mistake if the trade him. Given the opportunity he has shown he can contribute in multiple playoff series, trading him because they lost to the defending champs (the one team they can't beat) would be foolish. Denver have the best starting 5 in the league, any trade they can get for Rui wouldn't change that fact. People expected him to go off like he did last post season but fail to realize his offensive role was way smaller than last year. Before game 5 he was averaging 5 fga a game, less than even Prince. Lakers game planned to have him focus his energy guarding Jokic in the beginning while the other guys scored. Matching up against Jokic undersized also meant he ain't winning the rebound battle. If he's not scoring or rebounding they say he's not doing anything when in reality he's probably the most tired guy out there having to bang with Jokic every possession, a thankless job lol They should've tried to get Rui in rhythm instead of DLO imo. Also should have been coming off the bench since he's a natural PF. Bron is old and Rui is too slow to be playing the 3. Just remember the Lakers were 25-25 before finishing 47-35. Season wasn't lost because of Rui against Denver in the first round. It was lost when Ham decided he wanted to make Prince and Cam work before being likely being forced to play Rui more. If you swapped Rui and Prince from the start, Lakers would've been seeded higher and not be rewarded with Denver in the first round

He isn't a starter...maybe keep him..but not a STARTER...he got exposed for his lack of defensive awareness and not able to make plays or hit big shots

I know people want to support Rui--I do to, but that brother gotta study the game. He gets lost on the court... A LOT. He's like 6'8" and athletic and it doesn't show on defense.

Very disappointed in Rui. He has been consistent and improving since we got him. Last series he was pivotal giving Denver that work! This series he was trash! And it's crazy because he was good all season! I don't get it
