  • Cari is such a great host! I'm learning French on Easy French and I happened upon Easy German and gave it a go. I lived in Germany as a college student in Heidelberg, but did not pursue the language upon returning to the States. Now I have 4 kids and 3 grandkids and am enjoying relearning German. Cari's bright spirit and sense of humour are irresistable! I will now have to include Germany in my upcoming travel plans.

  • The vegan duck is a very traditional dish in Hong Kong. We usually have this dish in traditional Chinese vegetaian restaurant or in the canteen of the Buddhism temple! It is bascially a deep fried bean curd sheet which had been rolled and stack up to become this shape. I grew up with this amazing dish! WE also got vegan roast goose in Hong Kong but it is a snack, rather than a dish!

  • I love these kind of videos. May I give you guys a suggestion: what if you guys make shorts that include 2 parts: a short dialogue spoken slowly, and then the same thing spoken at normal speed, to see the difference between both versions and to familiarize ourselves with how German spoken at normal speed works.

  • Als ihr beide bei 0:13 anfingt, "langsam zu gehen", war das so lustig. 😅 Erstaunliches Video, und so lehrreich. Ich finde es wirklich toll, wie viel Mühe ihr euch gebt, den Leuten etwas über die deutsche Kultur beizubringen. Ich habe solche Videos in der Vergangenheit schon oft gesehen, wenn es um die japanische Kultur ging, also bin ich mehr als froh, dass die deutsche Kultur genauso behandelt wird.

  • Schönes Video für Anfänger! Ein kleiner Widerspruch allerdings: Esthi sagt erst, dass sie Riesenhunger hat (0:29), dann wiederum, dass sie nur wenig Hunger hat (2:52). ^^

  • Es ist merkwürdig: In Frankreich werden Kreditkarten (Carte Blue) nicht nur akzeptiert, sondern oft sogar für ein paar Franken verlangt. Zum Beispiel, um eine U-Bahn-Fahrkarte in Paris zu kaufen oder das Menü für FF 50,00 am Buffet am Bahnhof Capdenac zu bezahlen.

  • Lecker! I've lived and traveled in Asia but not Vietnam. In the US, Asian restaurants serve an Americanized version of their foods. It's not what their own people eat. My guess is these places serve a Germanized version for you all. Everything ordered looks delicious. Suggestion for a future slow German episode: giving and receiving directions and discussing opening/closing times.
