  • following you since quite some time. and i think i never commented. just wanted to say that you improved a lot in quite short time. you said that you cant adjust the mic in the virtuoso. i just wanted to mention that you can use "equalizer apo" as softwarte to adjust your speakers/headphones/mic once and then you never have to turn on the programm again as it acts in a kind of driver way. this is better then an extra software for every utensil you use. this also is better on the pc performance :). probably check that out and you can improve the quality of every headset mic very much - i would love to see a video series about this since every wireless headset lacks some mic quality

    @Sersch777@Sersch7773 жыл бұрын
    • Sadly, Equalizer APO doesn't work well along Discord, as it doesn't create a new device and Discord overwrites the settings.

  • I wanted to give the Corsair Virtuoso a try because of the amazing mic, even after the numerous complaints about it being uncomfortable, unfortunately it is true, while the audio and microphone are impeccable, the headband just digs a hole in the top of your head, can't wear them more than 10-20minutes without it being extremely painful, I tried multiple angles, positions and even sticking a rag on top of my head..., the ear pads are also very shallow so your ear literally presses against the speaker. It is a shame, it's literally a great headset but at the end of the day comfort is more important for me, I'll return them and give the Blackshark v2 pro a try.

  • I have recently bought a pair of Corsair Virtuoso and they are incredibly uncomfortable. They advertise "Comfort" and somewhere of "All day play", but I can't keep them on for more than three minutes before my head feels a piercing like pain and my ears feel like they are stinging. It has been three days now and my head is in absolute pain, I really want to keep these headphones however because I cannot find another headset that has such fantastic mic quality while also being able to detach from the headset, and doesn't have a pop to it or picks up background noise. If I wanted something with comfort and as well a clear mic, I would have to go search for a studio headset and a studio mic, but I don't make music and I don't stream. Not to mention how expensive the two combined is.. I've wrapped the head piece with large soft yarn to pad my head to hopefully help with the issue. I cannot confirm if this has worked however, as my head is still in pain from wearing them before. Also a side note, when I first plugged them in, the audio sounded terrible and needed adjusting until it sounded good enough to call it a "High Fidelity Gaming Headset" Overall I think Corsair put quality of audio/build first over comfort, or didn't even put comfort into thought. There are reviews stating how painful it is to keep them on and believe me, its painful. The build quality is beautiful however they put too much into weight of the headphones leaving pain of the consumer in the end. I wouldn't recommend these to my worst enemy, even on a bad Monday.

  • How to make the virtuoso sound better. Use an equalizer program like Boom3D. Day and night difference.

  • Nice comparison - I like these Death Matches - going to do my own (just for me, not a video or anything) with the Arctis Pro Wireless and the Razer Blackshark V2 Pro. Once these are compared, I'll hopefully have one to keep for PC + PS5 (plus some 4k Blu-ray film watching) - if not, my next ones on the list are the Astro A50 and Audeze Mobius or Penrose (although the Mobius is a bit too spenny for headphones). I'm now starting to think I'll need 2 pairs from different manufacturers to cover all the bases, but we'll have to see how my ears react. Maybe a gaming headset for PS5 and "normal" headphones (B&O, Sennheiser, Grado) for films and other media. I can't do the whole home cinema thing right now, so I have to make do with immersive audio plugged directly into my lug-holes. Also, it's good to see UK KZheadrs doing their thing, without the hyperbole and "hype beast" mentality. I've subbed and will look forward to more "straight down the line" content (hate people who say they've subbed, like you owe them something, but there we are). Cheers!

  • Just came across your channel through my recommended feed. I'm looking at wireless headsets to replace my 5 year old Steelseries H Wireless. I want comfort (not looking at gamer-y shiny plastic looks) and very good mic quality. What can you suggest I buy ? Budget is around $300.

  • As an all day Logitech fanboy and using the g430 for the last 7.5 years I decided to buy a new headset.. I was going to go with the g933 artemis spectrum(or whatever the new version of it is called) but since I've only bought Logitech products since the beginning, I decided I needed to give other brands a try. Also I moved to a different city where the weather is extremely humid throughout most of the year, the complete ear isolation was really uncomfortable after when head and moist would build up. I knew that corsair makes really sturdy products and I hate razer probably because they focus more on the flashy side of things(even though not as much anymore) I went with the virtuosos. And unlike most people, I don't find them very uncomfortable. Only the top of my ears make contact with inside of the headset and they don't hurt even after couple hours. But yes, the headband is awful. Its super thin and after sometime it just presses into your skull since the headset is also quite heavy. I would only get this issue after like 6 hours of playing with Logitech, but with this one it begins after an hour or so. Apart from that, I find it quite uncomfortable to play while charging the headset with the usb port. I mean it is positioned towards the back of the headset, and since the charging cable is so thick, it just rubs aganist my shoulder while I turn my head around. In the end corsairs headset has got some problems, but they are not as bad as people say and I suggest whoever is stuck between these two to go try them out first rather than sticking just to the reviews because everyone has got different ear shape
