Today i understand that YG has his own unique signature and they strive to preserve it. They have no intention of copy his own groups they want to mantain his distinct style. YG once said: we want that when someone listen our songs they think "oh its so YG" they want to preserved their brand through generations. Ain't no way YG would do the same cute sweet girl concept these other kpop groups are doing, im thankful for that, we need some noise in kpop

Exactly. I love the YG style. But some people say why the YG groups always follow the YG style. "Because they're from YG Entertainment duh" ,if they wanna hear different style, then go hear other artists from other entertainment groups. YG groups are known for their peculiar style. Thats what i love about them, they have their solid stance and not jumping here and there.
If they do some cute style then they'll say they copied NJ and Illit
what i liked here is they established the monster in baby monster. one of the issue previously was you can't really distuinguish baemon from 2ne1 and blackpink. with this ot7 debut, they fully established that they're not just a yg group, they're distinctly monsters too

We all want BABYMONSTER to have their own colour, so no one can call them a 2.0 of anyone! As a Blink, I really want BABYMONSTER to have their own concept which screams MONSTERS! And Sheesh is the perfect theme and concept of BABYMONSTER core! The haunted, scary and horror background with music combines together! Their styles was so different and new, makeup and everything! That rap line? Oh they slapped me in the face. There’s no top tier vocals and rappers these days until BabyMonster debut. Esp the ending was so good, it’s like a Monsters party and the harmonies reminds me of scary harmonies singing in horror movie! 10/10 this official OT7 debut! I think Batter Up is good to be posted first cuz YG can have some fans opinion, and improve!🤘❤🤘

In fact, Rora shines so bright in her own part, what else you could ask for? A solo track maybe 😂 the bridge and opening given to her is uniquely suit her. I understand she is your bias, but still please be fair and support them as a whole

She is my bias but I think what she excels at most is putting emotion into her singing. But most group songs will not be designed to showcase that unfortunately. I think she might be the Jisoo of the group - greatly talented, loved by many, but often overlooked in favour of those who can do the crazy raps or the powerful high notes.
This kind of comment needs to be stopped. "YG will never fo her justice in their song", what do you want? Having 3 minutes 20 seconds of her singing alone?
