  • Love foggy goose hunts ,it's like natural cover, and they migrat fairly well in the fog also. I like other hunters banging in the distance at there spots too , that makes the geese fly everywhere and migrat from Area to are more frequently. If i hear other hunters banging around at early goose season that makes me more excited. Document some of your goose cooking also.

  • Hey Jon your bottom fridge drawer look’s just like mine almost!! Mine is always full of 20oz Redbulls for sure!! I’ll drink about 3 to 4 a day and have been for years now!!! Lol!! I definitely think Red Bull should be sponsoring me for real!!! I definitely can’t drink anything other then Red Bulls!! Monsters tear my guts up!!! Awesome video buddy!!! You should definitely come down to southern Iowa!! I no of a spot on a lake that always has tons and tons of geese and ducks of all kinds every day!!! They will actually stick around during the winter and keep sections of the lake from freezing up and it definitely pisses off all the ice fishing guys for sure!!! They actually do a ice fishing tournament every year but the last several years it has been moved to a different lake because the geese end up keeping the water open almost all winter long unless it gets really cold for a week or longer!!!   • Your season is open already? Here it's 10/28-29 then opens again 11/1. And Goose hunting in t-shirt weather? Any wind that day? I only have 6 magnum shells. Preferred setup is around 15-20 yards of the "cup" of a U spread. Get em coming in low, wings cupped and landing gear down, to land right behind me. Draw them in close. Close enough for the sword. 😁

    • Go over what time of day to look for birds, what to watch for, do you just look for them flying and follow them, or try to see where they have landed?, what type of feed is worth the effort, tips on how to communicate with land owners, spots on the map to look for that would be more ideal, etc. Maybe it’s a lot more simple than I think? Just thought it would be a cool video to help people new to the scouting game!
