    • honestly i dont think there's much to explore in haythams story except maybe his life before becoming a full fledged templar..... Haythams story had been explored to its fullest till his death in AC Rogue and AC 3.... An Edward sequel would be really fun, but i feel like the same thing would apply here as well, as we already saw Edward grow into an assassin, and seeing him grow into a master assassin might not actually work given the setting of the game, giving Edward a complete story might work if its made in the style of AC Revelations, and maybe even have Haytham in some parts... But otherwise his story is complete at this point.

    • I’d love another Edward Kenway game, especially with the incredibly large maps and seamless land to sea and underwater exploration that we have in Odyssey. The story could explore Edward leaving London as a Master Assassin and exploring part of the world for more ancient civilisations sites. Then again it’s current Ubisoft, so they’d just ruin it.

    • Well, the experience, expectations and opinion varies a lot depending on where you start. I didn't even play any of the ezio or Altair games, I just straight up STARTED from AC3, was interested by it, then blown away by AC4, after that, nothing really memorable happened in the later games. I was outright furious with Syndicate. Then Origins came, and took me in again. I fell in love with the series again. Just as I was feeling more comfortable with the series, Demigod Simulator cane and "blew me away" in a bad way

  • I recently beat Rouge and moved onto AC3, so this video is perfectly timed. Conor definitely deserved a sequel, as did Edward, Arno, and Bayek. He was truly an under appreciated character, and if we’re being honest the AC fanbase hating him purely because he wasn’t Ezio was unwarranted. If it was up to me, I would’ve made Unity an indirect sequel to 3, in which Conor goes to Paris to hunt Shay Cormac. Whilst there, he meets young Arno and trains him to become an assassin, mirroring the Conor/Achilles dynamic. I feel like this trifecta of characters would’ve really played off each other nicely, and it would’ve been a very cool “look at what we built to” moment. But then again, this was back when Ubisoft started to fall off the wagon, stopped planning out continuing story arch’s, and instead moved onto “throw whatever at the wall and see what sticks”.

    @stepkickking9868@stepkickking98682 жыл бұрын
    • I wish that had been included in Unity! But with the ideas of the French Revolution and Elise etc it probably would have stretched it to breaking point to have Connor and Shay too! I say give them a dedicated finale in the Napoleonic Wars! Imagine they hunt down and kill Shay fairly early on (he’s pretty old at this point so maybe have him as Grandmaster?) then his son or daughter comes after the pair for revenge that they have to deal with whilst they try to sort out Napoleon at the same time

    • but balek prisonor was there already in unity who trained arnold to be assassin, cool way to connect Unity + 3 + rogue would be, Arnold finds about shay and learns about haytham kenway also finding about connor kenway who is assassin leader, later hunting him thinking as templar spy and goes searching his whereabouts. A great dynamic where Arnold vs Connor happens till Connor discloses the truth and they go on finding shay together. Shay on the other hand builds templar order as templar grandmaster, finds piece of eden thru is student templars. Shay's successor would be fighting connor and arnold will defeat shay in battle finally giving closure to arnold and shay's successor escape and send's piece to london (link to syndicate). DLC or Individual game for Connor vs Shay's Successor, giving connor a closure and his daughter a worthy protagonist story.

The Kenway saga was great but just imagine the finale we could have had between Conor, Arno, Shay and Aveliene Ubisoft need to pick a historical time and place and stick with it for a while, jumping around every game is limiting the potential narratively Take England for example, a game in the war of the roses, Tudor England, civil war, restoration etc there’s about 100 years of interesting history all close together they could play with! The gunpowder plot, the great fire of London, the beheading of Charles 1, Henry the 8th, Elizabeth 1 and Shakespeare, Francis Drake, Queen Mary. There is actually so much potential in this time period! It would be so good to actually see a whole story play out over multiple games with characters coming back and developing as time passes It baffles me that Ubisoft are missing this trick!

The Jack the Ripper DLC could have been a whole game really Bayek was another character with a lot of potential for a sequel, why we never got the Aya in Ancient Rome game is a mystery to me, I know we’ve seen Rome before but it would be so different seeing it in the glory days

  • I’m still most upset that we never got the Shay, Connor and Arno crossover story! There was so much potential in the Napoleonic war! Biggest missed opportunity in the franchise was not doing this finale! In the early 1800s Shay would be a fairly old man at this point (in his 70s I think?) so I could see him in the puppet master position controlling other Templars, Connor and Arno could kill him close to the start of the story but then Shay’s son or daughter comes after the pair for revenge. Both Connor and Arno have dealt with vengeance in their own stories, so it would be a nice twist to see them being the ones hunted down and on the back foot, compared to their games where they proactively went after Templars Imagine the battle of trafalgar, going back to Lisbon (would be an amazing place to kill Shay, how incredible for his character seeing as he “caused” the earthquake in Rogue) for the invasion there, could even go to Russia before finishing in Waterloo! It would give major AC 1 2 and 3 vibes with moving between different cities and even different countries And just imagine switching between Connor and Arno (similar to Jacob and Evie) with two distinct plays styles, Connor is older so maybe he’s slower but carries more gear and tools, Arno is quick and agile and probably blends with the crowd better as it’s a game set in Europe Ubisoft if you want to hire me I’m open to offers!

Liberation was quite good and her switching from 3 different personas interesting and different from male Assassins. plus i kinda miss Gerald lol i just wanna keep that guy safe from harm and Aveline is the right person for the job. Shay i really dislike because they didn't give him good enough reason to turn on the Assassins. he was done right as a character (only after he got shot), but not his intentions and reasoning for switching to Templars. just one mistake is not enough to erase all he's been through with the brotherhood (OF COURSE the Assassin's don't wanna destroy cities, duh Shay), knowing the good they do, what they stand for, their intentions as well as all the bad Templars do.

    • I feel Connor and Arno deserve a sequel. I could consider a sequel which would take place in Australia which I would call Assassins' Creed Down Under where 2 can be playable - Connor and Arno where they will band together to stop the Templars, convicts banished from Great Britain to Australia and stop slavery in Colonial America and Australia. Then Connor (in Achilles' robes) along with his recruits join Djarrjuntjun, Aveline, Eliza, Robert Faulkner and Arno in the fight against James Cook and the templars who seek to colonise Australia. There will be iconic Red Rock, Sydney, Adelaide, Swan River Colony (now called Perth), Van Dieman's Land (now called Tasmania) and Canberra. The start of the story will be Faulkner and Connor bringing his recruits, Aveline and Eliza on the Aquila to Australia. A flood of memories came to him. "It's all a matter of perspective. There is no single path through life that's right and fair and does no harm." "Your meddling in the revolution has caused us no small measure of grief. It cannot continue. Our work is too important." came another. "Do you think that good King George lies awake at night hoping that no harm comes to his native subjects? Or that the people of the city care one whit about them? Oh, sure, the colonists are happy to trade when they need food or shelter or a bit of extra padding for their armies. But when the walls of the city constrict - when there's crops that need soil - when there's... when there's no enemy to fight - we'll see how kind the people are then." "Thing is, boy, I can have what I seek. Had it, even. You? Your hands will always be empty." "And we should live forever on castles in the sky." "In your haste to save the world, boy - take care you don't destroy it!" "The people never have the power. Only the illusion of it. And here's the real secret: they don't want it. The responsibility is too great to bear. It's why they're so quick to fall in line as soon as someone takes charge. They want to be told what to do. They yearn for it." • There’s already content to make a Connor sequel from. His daughter, Ionihote, has Eagle vision and I think finishing his story from her perspective would be so fun and enlightening. There’s a lot to explore historically as far as native Americans in the period after the American Revolution.

    • @@YoloTB I love me some Evie Frye but you’re absolutely correct otherwise. Connor was powerful in many ways, and his story clearly was unfinished. Juno even said as much with her saying to him “you have accomplished great things, and will do so again”. I want to see Connor’s brotherhood fighting for indigenous Americans and African slaves in the post American revolution era. There’s so much potential for impactful story and gameplay in that time.

  • Connor is the epitome of the term "Assassin" nd what a assassin should be like(Determined & Deadly) Connor is my character in the series. Such a shame people don't understand his character Mainly Bcoz his story released just after the trilogy of Ezio So Assassin's Creed fans were most like Ezio fans nd next in AC3 they were hoping the character to be Ezio or sm1 like him so They didn't like the Native American Assassin who have the personality opposite to ezio. AC3 don't do Connor justice cos 25% part of the game was completed on haytham's side, native tribe prologue etc. If Connor had 3 games like Ezio, ppl could really understand what dude is actually capable of..nd i really hoping for a sequel

  • I love this idea. I've been working a long time on rewriting my first draft of an Assassin's Creed fanfic. It's been years revisioning, researching, growing as a person...but I'm really close to getting to working chapters. Synapsis: (this in an AU, but only to fix Writer Damage) Desmond is alive. Somehow Eve's Blood kept him from dying, but if Eve has messed with time Juno is going to hunt her down because only her blood can kill her now. Desmond now can see memories without the Animus, but to follow a girl from last summer is weird, even for him. Then an artifact activated by lightning, teleports her through time and space to Altaïr's time when his sons are very young.... she has a hard time with language and understanding what the heck happened. She has to speak old Arabic thought to her by her "uncle." She gets suspected as a spy, and the Sage wants her dead... But she and Altaïr figure out that the rod is the key, and she waits for a storm to try to get back home. It works, but now she ends up at the battle flied where Ezio is at the end of Brotherhood.... She meets Edward and Connor. But something dramatic happens with Connor and that's when Desmond is convinced Ely and Connor continue the bloodline. Desmond also find's Ely's mom with the help of his own mom, and finds out interesting things about Ely's blood, and the other Esu Types besides the Sage. It's a work-in-progress, but I can't drop it after all this time.

  • Connor went through more shit than any of the other assassins and yet he still he cared for others and was kind. I never liked Arno. Seemed like he would help people begrudgingly and did not come off as likeable. But yet it would still be cool to see a Connor, Avaline, Arno, and Shay crossover. But really I love the idea of a Connor sequel set in the very 1800's where you play as one of his kids who decides to join the assassin's and Connor is there by their side through the whole game. And as a little bonus, maybe his kid can show him a few new things. I think that would be so sick.

  • I absolutely agree. I actually have a fan-made game script, that I did only of pure pleasure, in which these 4 characters (Arno, Connor, Aveline and Shay) alongside Miguel, my OC from Assasin´s Creed. He´s from Argentina, at that moment still being a viceroyalty. The whole story is, precisely, after the events of Unity/Dead Kings, in which Miguel (a blacksmith) of 20 years old, would discover his heritage as his mother was an assasin. Arno would be there, searching for someone left in this part of America to join him, to go and stop Shay once and for all, as he would try to restablish the Templar order in all of the Americas (I get that you in the video said "America"... but you surely refer only to the US, in my game, it literally means all the continent). And so Miguel would learn the ways of the assasins, what his mother stood for, would meet Connor and Aveline, and all together would put an end to Shay. He would later return to Argentina, to fight for his country´s freedom, having understood thanks to all of them the true value of liberty, becoming in time a master assasin.

  • Not only was Connor left with no friends by the end of the game, he’s also facing the British steamrolling over his culture, the culture he grew up with, as more people start embracing American identity over British identity. This new culture pushing his own aside. The Assassin Brotherhood is all he has left. Even if he did go the London to see his Aunt Jenny, who knows how she’d react given how jaded she became to the Assassin and Templar conflict in her spinsterhood.

They yearn for it." • The thing is… Shay is very old during the events of AC Unity cause remember, Shay killed Arno’s father when Arno wasn’t even 10, he’s 28 at the end of Dead Kings… Shay would be good in the game but he’d need a piece of Eden to make him a tough foe. I think they should make a spin-off series all about the Templar’s and seeing how they aren’t the bad guys, seeing events from their eyes, their perspective. I would love a game all about Haytham or a game where you play as a young Al Mualim and how he became an Assassin, how he became a Master Assassin and how he became a Templar, possibly 3 different games. They did it with Far Cry 6 DLC, you play as Vaas and see how he isn’t the bad guy, he’s just doing what he has to

  • This makes me think of something, so we never got to know about what happened to these people later in their lives, and the series is now heavily inspired by RPG mechanics. Well what about having certain characters loyalties be tested by what's going on? The Assassin's could reform prompting Shay to rejoin, or perhaps Arno or Conner could join the Templars based off of Shay's actions. I would prefer if it was just one well wrote story, but I think that this would be a nice midway point that actually gives significance to the choices you make.

  • I mean they say two wrongs don’t make a right, but with the disdain/dislike of all three games initially when they were released, it’d be fitting for a GTA V styled campaign shared between all the relevant characters each with their own “skills” and play style. Connor having a “rage” meter like Kratos from GoW 4. Arno having an expanded ability of the Brotherhood “calls” from ACB, ACR and AC3. Shay being older, though having a far more lethal and wide range of gadgets and Arsenal to use at his disposal like the actual GUN he had when we first saw Rogue’s trailer combined with the tools of the assassin’s and Templars with something new, like a mini precursor to the grapple hook from Syndicate but actually functioning like a harness to traverse and swing around (dunno how it’d work in the setting though), or access to the bombs Ezio had in Revelations, the Guillotine Axe Arno uses or something. Since Ubisoft is loving their “Worldwide” settings, it’d be interesting going around between America, France and maybe Britain. If Ubisoft REALLY wants to reference their newer AC titles it’d be a good place to fit in lore or Easter eggs on Eivor and Thomas de Carnelion (Black style Altair outfit guy) but also prelude to how London grew to become what it became in AC Syndicate. Hell from memory Haytham’s sister was operating in London and keeping memorabilia from Edward’s time and Connor could be guided to the location during a mission or something. There’s a lot that can be done that could fully round up the colonial and revolution period and become a prelude to Syndicate which is still technically the closest era we have to modern day not counting Syndicate’s WW1 side story, AC Chronicles or the Modern day of course.

  • cool way to connect Unity + 3 + rogue would be, Arnold finds about shay and learns about haytham kenway also finding about connor kenway who is assassin leader, later hunting him thinking as templar spy and goes searching his whereabouts. Also i would like know how edward's son haytham ended up become templar's grandmaster considering how his father was great Assassin. and what happened to jennifer scott?

Arno already has haythem’s letters that could prove to bring the templars and assassins together (I know it won’t work but it’s still a good storyline). Connor would agree with that idea of peace between the orders. It all works to come together to make a damn good game that could close plot lines between all those games

  • Something I think you haven’t realized is that Connor is the mentor by the end of the game. Achilles died leaving the future to Connor and Connor was already in the process of recruiting assassins (6 that we know of by the end of the game) years later Adewales grandson also contacted the colonial brotherhood to receive training from Connor

  • Connor, Bayek and Arno need their own sequels. ACIII, Liberation, end of Rogue, and Unity all took place around the same time, it would have been a perfect crossover like your other video; I’m surprised they didn’t attempt that

  • It would be cool for him to become a mentor like a master assassin iThey could still do that like in the sequel that you’re suggesting Conroe could become a mentor and lead the assassins that would’ve been a good ending to a story

  • It would be nice if Ubisoft could get back to making more old school assassin games in general.
