*THIS IS A MUST READ* Concerning the "dead in Christ" many believers think they are all those that died before the rapture, which is incorrect, for scripture says those that died in Christ (those that sleep in Jesus prior to rapture; vs. 14) God brings them with Him (at the 2nd Coming); that to be absent from the body is to present with the Lord (2 Cor. 5:8). Thus, all those that died in Christ prior to rapture are already in heaven. So who are the dead in Christ (vs. 16)? Before we understand who the dead in Christ are, keep in mind scripture says that those who are alive and remain are caught up together with them (dead in Christ) in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord (vs. 17). So if we are caught up TOGETHER WITH THEM then they couldn't be those that died prior to rapture, for those that died prior to rapture are already in heaven, and return with Him at His 2nd Coming. Immediately after the tribulation of those days (great tribulation of the latter days) then comes His wrath upon the ungodly and the disobedient children. Just prior to His wrath Ezekiel's War takes place, and then the remnant Jews shall come to confess and repent of their sins, and they shall be saved, and then comes His wrath. In other words, the so-called "the tribulation" is not seven years, but it's what occurs within a seven-year period of time called the latter days, or more commonly known as Daniel's 70th Week.
