If you add elastin and some oxygen in liquid form in a capsule try to heat it .it will add with elastin and form polletrine elastin and add some acetone and carbon bond (chemically combined ) used in plastic . When get in contact with oxygen form thread like structure it get stronger as much as you pull it ( I Don't have resources to make it) hope you have
How high should the heat temp be? I’m actually quite interested in making this. What temp should I bring the capsule too, and any ideas on measurements to the chemical parts?

@Daniel Benavidez All we need now is someone to perfect a gene that makes you have the strength of 100x your weight and be able to stick to walls.
That and he can make a shooter with a motor built in with 3 different exits so when the web comes out it kinda twists around each strand

When it said you needed styrofaom i was like what the hell. But then when you put it in the pure acetone my mind was blown. New sub!
I have been spending around a year designing web fluid, and this video helped me modify and improve my current attempts. If you could make a version of this that is liquid like water, yet with the same strength, you might have perfected it.

Honestly, what you could do is make a less dense mixture, but not to much, and try to find a accelerator, and it could be a two part web fluid.
what if instead they they added like 2kg less of syrofoam and added a strengther so it wouldn’t have to dry to work

i found the actual substance to perform an actual spider like web,you need a stretchy substance and nanocubes to mix within eachother to make this silky like spider web that can withstand your weight while swinging

This is not a roast btw but your making pretty much silly string. I suggest putting even more and finding a way to make it actually look like web not like a piece of single string. Web would look like a few pieces or string.

Can you buy the Acetone without any special requirements?
Just add a bit less styrofoam to the mix it helps it stick better and dry faster

A WJ ya because of the fact that it’s terrible and not strong at all. Not to mention the fact that it doesn’t contribute to finding a way to make real good strong web fluid. And yes Ik it’s just something you can all think is cool and that probably none of you are going to go into chemistry and find a real way but I’m just saying.

I GOT IT (maybe) so here’s two ways this could work. So with the web fluid try to mix all the combinations of other peoples successful web fluid into one and see how it reacts to eachother. And if that dosnt work then you could take the most sticky one and constantly combine it with itself or the strongest so it is super strong and sticky.

Ok awesome job question though it does not seem to have a lot of tensile strength on it. Although it was able to hold up the syringe would you be able to pull one of those clips with it? If it cant you might want to add something to it to strengthen it but your probably already on that
you don't need to add anything just get a bunch of strands of the web and weave it together to make a stronger web
This is pretty basic but it actually looks very good. I think a bit stickier and more strong and it could actually be almost perfect dude that’s amazing. Right now you’ve almost perfectly recreated a spiderweb, which is amazing. Now we just need to make bigger and stronger, like actual webs from Spider-Man. This is truly amazing.

I'm working on something, and I need some sort of web fluid that can go through spray, but that dries quickly and becomes hard to remove
Imagine how bulky a web shooter device would have to be in order to create Spider-Man's webbing out of this stuff

The way spider man made his webs were to make it stronger when expanded, I would say this is pretty accurate.
Alot of youtubers have figured out how to make spider web but they just need to know how to make it strong enough to hold a human's weight

You can do that like add the styrofoam until it gets tick enough then add a little glue , I don't remember the name of the glue , it's the one that dry really fast .

So can I put it into a homemade webshooter and it'll work, or is it too thick?
well in order for the "webbing" to support around 100lbs or so you would need for it to be weaved together into a strong thick rope but a thick rope like that wont be able to fit into a wrist sized webshooter and you would need a huge air canister of sorts to actually get the web to go into a straight line for a far distance in order to actually swing there is still a huge amount of flaws that need to be worked out and fixed within the webbing itself before even thinking of attempting to make a home webshooter : )

99% no I think there is no such alkali which can do , I think nitric acid will do but I never suggest working with strong acids until and unless you don't get a professional supervision do at your own risk 😊

This stuff could be used for a mini web shooter with a magnet since it’s strong than dental floss and other materials just need a strong magnet that will be strong enough to hold some weight but also be small enough to shoot

so basically you just have to figure out how to make it dry faster and how to make the "web" coil in a really thick spiral and somehow keep it attached to the web shooter in order to possibly swing from it
And guys who are disliking his idea of the web. Atleast he tried and got a good version of it, although not used to swing around but trying matters
I think a great property it could have would be that it would be dry but it would need a soften up with only the smallest amount of moisture than resolidify after losing it being exposed to the air. Not this formula but a theoretical web "fluid" maybe even granulate the web then with pressurized air it can act like a fluid

Now all you have to is modify a wrist mounted compression system with nozzle that shoots out the right amount of webbing at a single shot that allows that solution to hold up the weight of a human.
