No. The only reason the plot stands in the first place is due to past present future coexisting for the founder/attack. He does what he does because it's the only temporal line that comes close to what he wants. What it entailed was completely irrelevant

Which is why the ending is so bad, it goes from a morally ambiguous story where no one is right to a black and white hero vs threat of the world kind of story for no other reason than “do the right thing” it’s so disjointed and out of nowhere and ruins the moral ambiguity of the series because they literally state that the heroes are just good heroes doing the right thing even tho the world around it it’s trying to say something very different, at some point they’re proven wrong, that what they’re doing is pointless and super out of character to do, but they still do it because it’s “the right thing” it literally craps on everything that came before it
I mean there’s obvious good and bad in the history, it’s just in the present eren Yeager falls in the middle and blurs everything in comparison under worldwide turmoil

"Nobody knows what's inside of me" In the context of Eren's story arc, this line always gives me the shivers.
Since the very beginning, before he was born, 2000 years ago Eren's life was already determined. He was never free the whole time... everything he did HAD to be. He had to kill those two men when he was a kid, not because he wanted to. Despite this he would attempt to keep his freedom by thinking he was making choices on the fly, but once it came to the point where Eren manipulates his father, it doubles down on the fact that Eren has no choices to make, as they were all made for him, 2000 years ago.

I love the fact they took this seriously. Not many bands would do that. It was more than just being hired to do an OP. This is part of the experience of AoT.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS SONG!!! Attack on titan gave me so many emotions. It’s absolutely the best anime’s I’ve ever seen. It made me get so attached to everyone with such killer soundtracks, with this song being my favorite 😢❤❤
