  • Thanks for doing this! Out of all the "tool guys" that I follow, you are the only one covering this show.

  • I'm impressed. The last time I was in Vegas for a trade show I didn't find the Convention Center until the final day of the show. Let's just say the rest of my time there stayed in Vegas. Thanks for the video.

  • Im a hindu, student of MBA watching this from BIHAR, INDIA. I have nothing to do w tools or woodworking, but i have this taste for american product shows like this one. I'll probably never get a chance to feel this in real life. This is the closest to being there. Thanks for sharing. I might also use the innovative plus points related to businesses handling and expansion covered in these kinda shows. Thanks for the learning aspect of it too.

  • The tool swing is an awesome concept. Instead of vices and grinder, I'd love to see a versatile setup where you mount table top tools. Yes the cabinet would need to be a great deal larger, but think of being able to easily access and store a table top sander or other table tops.

    • Thanks! no prob, yea was a very fun show, I will post day 3 tomorrow. This show is a ton of manufacturers as well so a lot of it isn't applicable to consumers, its where a thing like the tool swing might be able to get in with the manufacturer of some metal tool benches etc.

      @BitnerBuilt@BitnerBuiltАй бұрын
    • @@BitnerBuilt one side got stuck while transporting some heavier item, tubes got bent the load twisted some wheels broke out of the plastic. The load was on 2 sets of carts. its a pain to turn in any directions if your load is not tall enough so to sum imho its a fancy crap, cant use it on dirt forget about rough terrain. since the "accident" we are making our own carts trolleys, sometimes using 2 pcs of 10" tall 5/8 shaft airless tires from HB or 4 hd casters mounted on 2x6 or something and if I remember correctly I spent 129 on each of those yellow carts. the caster are fraction of that price.

  • Large gun safe can easily exceed the floor rating. As you move this heavy object it would be wise to assess the floor from below and put temporary supports

  • Buy your battery and solar panel at a woodworking show? Great progress here.

    @shop970@shop970Ай бұрын
    • There were a good 20 battery / solar companies there. With everything transitioning off gas (outdoor / lawn) they all seem to be getting into the battery business

  • Enjoyed the video. Unfortunately, the Snappy Driver Set is currently unavailable on Amazon and I'm having no luck finding it elsewhere so kind of out of luck on that one. . . They do have a stubby version available on Amazon. Not sure why the one they demonstrated is not actually available.

    @oldguy1030@oldguy1030Ай бұрын
    • So I just checked my Amazon, over a hundred people bought that in the past two days through my link so it’s just out of stock because of people ordering them. Hopefully back in stock soon! I will shoot them a message.

      @BitnerBuilt@BitnerBuiltАй бұрын
    • Talked to the snappy driver guys, there is a shipment combining from Japan now to restock Amazon, will be back in stock by the end of the month, sorry for the delay they didn’t expect the sales boost.

  • Rev a shelf works for bigger tools but the tool swing looks like it’s a bit more robust.

      @silverbackag9790@silverbackag9790Ай бұрын
    • I have a spare Rev a Shelf that I got with the intent of using in the shop. With the dewalt coming in at 92lbs, I don’t think that mechanism would support it for long, even with a 1” top. It has some wobble side to side with that heavy mixer. 25lbs?

      @dian3145@dian3145Ай бұрын
    • @@dian3145 Yeah, you aren’t going to support a 100 lbs saw with one. I’m referring to those ubiquitous spindle sanders and shit like that. Might get away with a Festool Kapex, but not anything heavier.

  • 6061 Al is not aircraft grade it is 7075

    • Interesting I will bring it up to them. They were talking off camera with me about how they formulated their own new molding structure, making it incredibly lighter by adding a diamond void you can see from the side

      @BitnerBuilt@BitnerBuiltАй бұрын
    • Wrong. 6061- T6 is very commonly used in aircraft structures. It is "aircraft grade."

  • No way that was an actual, unmodified safe. I’m sure the car can carry the weight of an actual safe, but he wouldn’t be wheeling it around the way he did if it was nothing more than the skin of a safe. NOT 600 lbs
