Peyton referring to the Broncos as "we" or "our" throughout the game really puts a smile into my face as a Broncos fan. He will always be welcomed here and we will forever be grateful for everything he did as a Bronco.
I'm a 9ers fan, and I feel the same way when I see Richard Sherman talk about the 9ers as "us" or "we." I hated him when he was a Seahawk, but now that he's retired I love to hear him talk about his time with the 9ers. It's very similar to Peyton. Both were past their true primes and had their best years on another team, but both also gave some really great years to their new teams, even if they weren't quite at their peaks anymore. Peyton especially did, winning a SB with Denver. It's easy to think these guys would mostly identify with the teams they spent most their time with, but it's really heartwarming as a fan to see that they cherish those years with our teams too. You could really see how much Peyton wanted the Broncos to pull this off.

The Monday Night Game between the Bills and Broncos should be dubbed the Lazarus Game to go along with other victories of biblical proportions like the Holly Roller Game and the Immaculate reception game. The Broncos were dead after the first missed kick then they were granted the Lazarus Kick and they were brought back to life. The Lazarus Game!

I always wonder how many lives are later affected by that 12th guy on defence. Not in the way you would think like : bad record, firings that kind of things. It's as simple as after the season Buffalo goes up one place in the draft and they draft Joe Smow and Miami doesn't. He meets a girl in Buffalo and ... None of the rest of his life takes place if he's drafted my the Dolphins. This arbitrary changes in people's lives has to happen constantly (you got into Annapolis instead of West Point, Harvard/Yale, Kansas/K. State) and the universe unveils itself in mysterious ways.

Remember when Mannings retired and you were so happy we wouldn't have to hear about them all the time? I just don't understand why the media/commercials continue to shove these mediocre personalities in our faces. No presence, no life, mumble thru their delivery... they're just not very good on TV. Maybe YOU were happy, most were sad. I know I was. Eli gave me 2 superBowls and then after a major injury, they wanted to go with this new, untested young guy with no real experience. That's the karma they get for dumping Eli the way he did.
