Chomper: simply the cheaper, but worse option due to less range and no special abilities outside of eating Snap pea: it’s better at handling more enemies since it can shoot the heads. however, it’s downside is that can’t eat flying zombies Toadstool: it’s simply a better alternative since it has a longer range and the ability to make sun

snap pea is good since it can eat anywhere in the lane and is relatively fast, then shoots a decent damage zombie head plus when it can't eat a zombie its really good at stalling gargantuars or other heavy duty zombies since when it decides to shoot peas, it creates a huge pea stalk that can stop zombies momentarily. only weakness is it cant eat aerial zombies. and in an actual game, you won't be able to plant all snap peas at the same time anyways, meaning that they will take turn shooting aka take turn stopping the gargantuar so its possible that the gargantuar won't even be able to move at all if timed right toadstool is actually a good all rounder and gives off sun, maybe its weakness is its mid range but it doesn't really matter much. a very reliable plant chomper is just bad lol

I would say snap pea has the upper hand mostly and also that coming out of the ground to shoot makes the zombie stop is amazing and the shear power and skill makes up for not being able to attack the balloon zombie plus being able to shoot the head mm amazing plus that head would most likely be able to hit the balloon zombie Toadstool would be a great second she has decent range and a rapid attack for stuff like gargantuars and all those plus she produces sun after finishing her meal which makes a viable option if your running low on sun, sure she wasnt able to take out all the camel zombies but she did produce a but load of sun which is great if your low on it and need to clear the lane Chopper has the short end of the sticks here only having a one tile range minus the plant food sure its a viable option but the two seem better than the chopper especially what happens after they finish chewing chopper just does a burp for show and unlike its plant food it doesn’t push zombies back but its plant food ability is quite decent
