Clickbaited? i guess.
Bowser Zeki ya
Bowser Zeki yep
Well I just got the switch and I learned 1 thing so far
This is basically his channel in a nutshell
Bowser Zeki this channel hit a new low
Yep, Nintendo definitely didn't want us to know these. That's why they made them
MUDKIPZ47LOL exactly!
MUDKIPZ47LOL the guy clickbaits!
BlueReptile Productions Yup.
There's a reason why hidden secrets are often referred to as Easter eggs, after all. ;)
BlueReptile Productions how new are you
My dad works for Nintendo and thanks to this video he got punished and demoted for not being able to keep these secrets. He came home last night in a drunken rage and beat me. It was all worth it tho... Through these black, bruised eyes and with these cut up bleeding ears I was able to discover that... You can leave your switch at home and still play your games on someone elses system through a series of tedious steps AND I get to NOT have my own save data! This is useful because if the switch has one flaw its it's lack of portability! Okay I gotta go tend to my wounds but I'll be sure to like favorite and subscribe. Yay~
I feel so bad for you
holy crap this is a joke comment jesus christ
I love this comment
This craked me up.
This CRAKED me up too.
None of these are secrets, and Nintendo wants you to know all of them.
Well, Nintendo wants for you to know all of them except for perhaps the region-free thing, anyway...
Well you get nintendo switch for 300$ and you need to pay a fee of 20$ and you buy a game for 50$ or 60$ and thats 380$ or 370$
True
yes
@@moedeluca4715 and I'm pretty sure nintendo, and everyone else knows that.
Nintendo clearly doesn't want us to know that they made a feature that you can download games via the website ._.
Not bring your Switch?? The entire point of the Switch is that you can take it with you.
THANK YOU
Exactly!
Yep Exactly
Not to mention the way he is saying to log out of your account on your switch then create an account on your friends switch. Then you would still have to download the game to your friends switch, which can take a while with a big game. Seems like a huge hassle to just not bring a "portable" console with you.
Happy Father’s Day!
I still like physical more for consoles! The memory it saves just makes it seem more worth it!
Chris Adams: There is nothing more pleasing then seeing your games on your shelf all organized. Especially if you keep your older titles, its like a mini display of your gaming history.
TheKillerhusky ah, for me I don't care, as long as I have it it's good. I tend to loose thing alot so I usually download em. I bought a 256 GB microSD card so I'm probably good :)
Caleb Alexander I want one that large for mine, but I own a PS4 with 6tbs a 2tb internal and 4tb external and it gets full fast even with disc games that’s where I was coming from!
The box art is worth collecting for me. Also, when it's physical I know I own the game and will always be able to pop it in my console no matter what. And I can share games with friends too.
same
but... they're not secrets if they're publicly promoted... if you can just go to the e shop,, and see them, its not secret. there are things like this to be said about literally all of these "points." you're calling them "secrets" because you assume that people are playing their games, and not exploring the console's features. but good job teaching those who didn't do that these "secrets".
O- One of a kind. Do you realize that you're getting on The Gamer for a slight technical error but your comment is riddled with grammatical errors?
ok, 1 this is the freaking internet, you don't have to be a grammar nazi, and 2, you clearly missed the point. I didn't care to list every reason these weren't secrets. I trust the readers of the comment to understand that. I understand that people aren't gonna take 5 minutes out of their lives to read an irrelevant, long ass comment. but if thats what you wanted, then id be HAPPY to give you a 2 paragraph long explanation, involving everything wrong with this video. and another reason I didn't do that, is because I believe in critical feedback, not demoralizing feedback to content creators. so when you find a better way to "defend" a channel that im trying to give constructive criticism to, because thats what comments are for, then come talk to me. until then, keep giving fake feedback to content creators, and while you're at it, go comment first on that new Ali-A video. TL;DR the joke is that im making the comment super long on purpose, if you didn't understand a little thing called humor. youre welcome
Michael Doehring Thegamer tends to often assume only "pro players" know these types of things, which I personally think is offensive. Even if his argument had a lot of grammar errors, that doesn't make it any less valid.
O- One of a kind I agree with you, they were not secrets entirely, I mean, one of them I did not know, but the rest were common sense for people who had owned a Swich. I could only see this video for newcomers to the Swich.
O- One of a kind the only one I’d say Nintendo would care about is the last one
When you mentioned game manuals, there are actually a few games on switch that still use digital manuals, like for example in mario kart 8 DX, there's a menu option called "help" that's nestled in sub options on the title screen which functions like a manual.
I didn't know that DLC existed! My mind is blown!
The best secret that no one knows about, to save up space on your Switch. And to share games with your family and friends. Is to buy physical copies of the games you want. So amazing! And you'll have plenty of space for eshop exclusives.
ikr
What about for those of us who HATE physical copies?
@@ZoneHeart00 it's kind of sad that kids today won't know the joy of borrowing a game from a family member or renting a game at Blockbuster with a friend. If not that, the fact that you didn't have to get rid of a game you like just because you want something new to play. You didn't have to delete any of my cartridges or CDs just to play the new game. I lost so many digital games, good ones, and can't go back to play them.
@@JuanGarcia-vh7zo How is it sad to not like physical copies? What if someone loses a game, or a family member or someone else STEALS a game? What if a parent throws away a game? What if a pet chews or scratches up a game? What if you're protective of your games and DON'T wanna share them with anyone outta fear of losing them. Btw, it's not just kids. It's adults too. I'm 21, gonna be 22 in October, and I find the Switch archive to be absolutely AMAZING for me. I don't like physical copies because I wanna save physical space, and also I don't want the hassle of worrying about physical copies. It isn't sad at all. It's great!
@@JuanGarcia-vh7zo Oh, and uh...... Borrowing games? What about those who wanna keep a game? Now we can buy it digitally!

"they programmed this feature directly into the eshop just in hopes that you WOULDN'T USE IT!"
The best part of these videos are the comments😂
Your telling me that Nintendo didn’t want me to know that there’s a menu with all my games
Yeah. They also do not want us to know that you could play games on the switch.
@GuestFANS2 Gaming *THERES A WHAT!?*
I knew about most everything except for the last one regarding changing the accounts. That makes me feel safer knowing that if my switch breaks my digital purchases are safe
The clickbaiting on this channel is so bad that my head hurts. And if Nintendo doesn't want you to know about these secrets why are they still accessible? Wow, I just wasted 11 minutes watching this video.
Kamu there goes 11 minutes of our life
Thanks. Saved me time! Im out lol
Kamu They have made a video about inappropriate "facts" about Mario, when infact most of them where theories and they just said Mario 2 was "inappropriate"
great
I kept seeing these in my recommendations with those clickbaity arrows. I've finally succumbed to sheer curiosity and... yeah, pretty much what I expected.
Yes I did just find this out about my Nintendo like a week ago and nobody even new! But I'm glad you guys made this video for other people 👍

‘ *NINTENDO STORE* secrets they don’t want you to know’ Instantly starts talking about game stop.
THANK YOU SO MUCH, Now I can play Mother 3 on my Switch. :)
Wow, dude. You blew my mind with all that secret information.
Actually...Region locking on Nintendo was never really a thing on the handheld side until 3DS, Gameboy to DS games were universal, I personally have every Japanese copy of Pokemon up to Gen 4 (still working on that gen collection wise.) Console side it was mostly physical locking so you could get around it pretty easily, at least until the Gamecube (remove a couple tabs in your system or put your game's PCB directly into the system for example.)
About 99% of my Switch game library is Digital cause it's so easy to buy the game and be able to play it with in a few mins. It's like say this on the day Smash Bros Ultimate for the switch comes out there will be a ton of people lining up at gamestops waiting in line to buy it. But with the Eshop you can just bypass that. Also there are a ton of Eshop exclusive games.
michael1234252 yea but say u don’t like the game. Then that’s tough because u can’t get ur money back.

i wish that if you put a physical copy of a game in you're switch you can have an option to download the data on to you're switch so you can play it any time with out having to put the game in you're switch
pig lover The problem with that is that if a friend lets you do that to your switch with their game, you can get a game free.
Odd Crushed Shark or you can just buy a game, download it, and return it.
When I first saw this video I thought "Well this is going to be illegal."
And you got "stuff that is lame that you already knew".

*JUST EXACTLY WHAT YOU WERE LOOKING FOR AND IT IS FREE*

"just imagine when the virtual console is released" They already announced there's no virtual console for Switch. Probably going to have most NES/SNES era games be part of the online service and anything else will be ports.
this is mostly true
The tipp with the on the go Download was just nice!

I like buying digital games but they’re storage size is just usually too big...
"Games can take hours to download depending on their size" Me: *Laughs in rural connection*
*Laughs in Public WiFi*
How is changing the resolution on the 3DS for old school games a Nintendo store secret at all? Let alone one they don't want you to know. That's ludicrous.
I don't know where you're getting your (obviously bad, unchecked) information, but Stikbold has been on the US eshop since January 4th and One More Jump since January 25th. These games are NOT exclusive to the EU store.
Thanks for the info dude
The only thing I wish you could do with the switch game library is organize the order of the games... And maybe make folders to help sort the icons...
With a $10 gift card, you can save TEN WHOLE DOLLARS
I thought I saved $6.99
Why would Nintendo not want us to know about most of these???
It's for the views

Wait the Nintendo switch has an online shop??? Wow dude! Step back that’s so much knowledge that’s in my head now!
*Every time I hear the word "free" my heart rate goes up and my brain goes into full throttle.*
Whatever’s free I want
you should play pikuniku theres FREE money but the game is not FREE
Actually you missed that you can share your games to another switch IF it has a Nintendo account
Yeah but I can't read Japanese
Where are the subtitles?!?!
you can also delete games on your switch and they wont vanish from your account and can be DLed from the eshop. the only thing archive does different is keep an icon on the switch home
Thanks for this tips! It's very handy as i mostly buy dgital games...
Psst, did you know that there are *GIFT CARDS* for the Nintendo switch?
I'm sorry, did you just say "haul your Switch over"? It's literally a portable system.
not 100% sure for switch but if the archive funtion works anything like it does on the 3ds then this doesnt mean your game will always be there to download. Games get removed from the store over time, if your game gets removed from the store, you can no longer download it, even if you previously bought it. Thats why I keep all my downloaded games on sd with backup on pc. Also from what I understand there will be no virtual consoles for the switch.
Region change: you mentioned creating a new account to access different regions eshop, but how about just changing the region settings directly on the console while keeping the same account to navigate through different regions eshops?
I feel like you’re voice sounds different every time
This is a joke right
I work for Nintendo and we're so mad at you. We did not want people to know about this.
lol
Is that sarcasm?
Great joke comment!
@@notacatiswear2849 Yes.
@@hisuianpitch ok
So archiving software is a secret now? And well done on being able to talk about changing the region of your account for so long
I just checked my eShop for US and Stikbold A Dodge Ball Adventure Deluxe came out Jan 4th 2018 in the US eShop. And I prefer physical but I do buy some titles that are digital only like Golf Story although I have heard that Limited Run Games will be making a physical copy that I might pick up if it is not to expensive.
"They don't want you to know" LIES
Pretty common knowledge and not a Secret. Ive been Clickbaited!
Thanks for tip about arciving games on Nintendo switch
Only problem with archive is that for any "Big." games is it takes like 3 hours to redownload. Yeah I'd rather buy some big SD card.
THE BRAZILIAN FREAKING STORE!!!
Here in Brazil, Brazilian stores are better, because the games are cheaper and the prices don't change with inflation, it's also better because we don't need to pay a transfer tax for credit cards since there are no e-shop cards for sale here.
Nintendo confirmed that there will never be Virtual Console on the Switch, sorry to kill the mood!
But older games might come monthly along with internet purchase
Yes but the game are online remakes not vertul consool
yes they did. nes games about 25 now (with online scrip) 3/19
Hi, I need help. Is there any way to use e shop cards for 3ds and wii u on nintendo switch? Thx.
That one with going online to purchase games would that work with a switch lite. Would the console be dead by the time you get home thus making you wait afrw hours to play the game you downloaded. What's with the farm sim music I thought all that was licenced.
If you're watching this, just... stop. 4 minutes and I already regret it.
Nintendo: “oh no, they figured it out!”
what is the thing that you spin when you go into nintendo eshop? what happends when you win and get all 3 lines matched with eachother?
this video was very helpful
I like how you don't mention the only REAL Nintendo Store Secret that they don't want you to know... the fact that you can pirate games for the 3DS and Wii U DIRECTLY OFF OF NINTENDO'S SERVERS, DIRECTLY FROM YOUR CONSOLE!
Anon Ymous wait wut how?
Fist Me - First, you need to hack your system. Then there are programs like FreeShop (for 3DS) that let you download games directly from the eShop servers, as if you had legitimately bought them.
they didn't tell you?wtf that not a secret
Anon Ymous that’s not a secret though. Pirating and hacking games has been around forever
Anon Ymous that's piratery, not a secret ._.
You tried to get my hopes up, but the Virtual Console isn't coming for the Switch. Nintendo confirmed that.
does the archive function let you delete physical memory and redownload it digitally?
I just want to point out something. That think about buying games from other device and having the Switch download it is very restricted to specific countries. A Nintendo ID from Mexico cannot do that, but if you log in with a USA account on that same Switch, you can definitely do it with that ID Also, about region free. There's this one exception with Splatoon 2. While it is region-free, it has three versions for each region (Americas, Japan, Europe), and if you want to buy the Octo Expansion, you need to buy it for your specific version. If you have the Europe version and buy the DLC with an ID from Japan or any country within the Americas, it will simply not work
Always love watching to find this types of secrets
wtf did you find out from this? that games have demos?
Literally nothing here was a secret
How much did they pay you to write this comment?
Caloob nothing
Lootman how to get a Japanese account on the Switch
I’m pissed off cuz I put my original birthday into my Switch, and now I can’t get the original Doom because I’m 16 and so it won’t even let me see the page, even though I’ve played the newer Doom’s which are undeniably more mature, but now I can’t change my birthday.

@@IfUDieOhWell Now that's an epic gamer quote
I already know all of these. I learned from my friends
Woah I didn't know there was an eshop for the switch 😲
Virtual console isnt coming to switch. Nintendo said so.
Well it is, when the paid internet comes out.
Yeah, I think it's sad that Nintendo doesn't want us to play older video games on the newer consoles anymore... :(
HappyFoxUniverse no it isn't. Nintendo stated that the Switch is where it is because of indie developers supporting the platform. And even tho virtual console would be a success, it would bury alot of indie gems under the nostalgic mindset of players. So VC is being discontinued for Switch to let indie devs grow and show the appreciation from Nintendo
Yes, it is a bummer that they went that way when they have hundreds and hundreds of great games that people would enjoy WAAY more than... Astro Bears or whatever. I feel like both indies and vc could have lived together, even if it hurt the indie sales a little. I believe that nintendo is trying to build up some good will in terms of their before, honestly garbage 3rd party support with the wii and wii u. Even so, i do not think this was the right move on nintendo's part. Just imagine one of the selling points being you can play all your faviorite classic games like sm64, ocarina of time, paper mario ttyd (if gamecube was added), and so much more... Anywhere!!! Sales would have skyrocketed even if it was only to play those vc classics
As long as they dont kill the eShop on the Wii U or 3DS, its (mostly) fine, since you can still use those.
I live in the uk
B entertaiment Same
B entertaiment I live in Italy, infact im italian
What does that have to do with anything

I own a 3DS and a Switch. I've a lot of digital downloads on the 3DS like most of the SNES library. Is there a way I can play these on the SWITCH ??

Gamer can you’ll please pin this: I love your channel so much and want to congratulate you on nearly 1mill. Keep it up
Thank you! :)
oh wow they did not want us knowing they made gift cards;_;
I know a sort of secret the inside cover of games that you bought at the shop (not on the eshop) you can get free official art and other cool things by taking out the front cover from the the box you got the game in like for super Mario oddessy you get lyrics to jump up super star and for splatoon 2 you get art work for single player and salmon run
wait, I have those 2 games that are mentioned during 6:31 and 6:50, and my switch is/was on the US's eshop, because I reside there, and in Honduras, where I'm in for vacation, there's no difference to games!
For nintendo switch, I have, legend of Zelda, links awakening, it’s a fun game to play! 🙂 ⭐️ ✨ 💥
"They don't want you to know" purchasing games on the go is a FEATURE
Question: Do physical copies take up less memory than digital ones?
what about the part where we could get unmarketed games that used to be on the eshop but now arent
i do not have the switch :(
...the eShop isn't just on the switch... It's on the Wii u and 3ds too
have the wii ubut not the 3ds ;)
It sucks! The joy cons seem to move by them selves! When i play Zelda or Fortnite, my character moves by itself! I’ve searched on KZhead and tried every method but none of them work! I really recommend you don’t get one
I get that problem, but I'm getting a new pair of joy cons... Have you got the problem when your joy cons get loose? I did.
Save some money and when the time comes you could buy a switch :) but don’t watch these videos cuz it’ll just make you feel worse
yay,im the 503rd XD
multiple region eshops is no secret, before they released the switch they said it is region free
You don't have to sign out of the account to share eshop purchases. My sister had hers in two different switches before getting her own.
🤦♂️ This is billy he does some bad stuff on Nintendo Eshop
Bad Billy! Detention for you.
Shadow 100% agree
I didn’t knew nintendo banned paper manuals in physical copy’s of games,am sad about it because it’s part of your purchase and it becomes a collectible item now,but i guess the world is running out of trees right? Is it not already worse that uk & eu wants to ban plastic stuff such as qtips, cups etc,,, just to ‘save’ the ocean from trash, mmm.
johneygd Paper manuals are not banned, Nintendo and other developers are allowed to include paper manuals with physical games (look at limited/collectors editions of many games). They just don't include paper manuals because it is a way for them to cut costs and make more profit.
Some Dude yeah it might be a way to cut costs but these day’s company’s are cutting costs dramatically, and since more things are getting digital,we are getting forced to have internet,if you got no internet then you are nowhere these day’s. All these changes in the game industry these day’s are just an abomination.
johneygd I agree. I support physical every chance I get. I've got Yoku's Island Express preordered at Best Buy for pickup today. I could've had it a month ago digitally but I avoid digital when possible. I got Owlboy physical a few weeks back along with Shantae Day One Edition both games I could've gotten digitally a while ago. Not only does digital require you to have the internet to get the game, but you also don't really own anything. Say you archive a digital game because you're running out of space on your memory card. That digital game can be removed from the eshop at any time. It happened on the DS and 3DS. I remember Alphabounce getting pulled. All you have digitally is a license to use the game, a license that in the fine print can be revoked. I've been collecting games for 30 years and a digital collection just doesn't feel the same. I compare it to someone having a huge collection of mp3 music to someone having an amazing collection of vinyl records. Having something tangible can't be beat. I miss manuals in games.
Well, yeah, do you want the oceans full of rubbish?
1Thunderfire no i don’t want to have ocean full with rubbish, but it’s not only from paper all that rubbish, all those rubbish metal from wars are also the cause of all this rubbish and that still contineus,it’s beyond me why the EU wants to ban many plastic products just to ‘minimize’ those rubbish in the ocean, don’t they realize that glass & metal is also the cause of this , BTW they can alway’s clean the ocean from all that rubbish and even recycle it.
I was wondering if you buy a main game and then buy the bundle version do you still pay for the main game version too? For example I have bomber crew but not the dlcs and I wanted to buy the bundle. the main game as of making this comment is about 20$ U.S.D. and the bundle is 24 $ and I was just wondering if I still pay the full 24 $ dollers for the bundle even though I own the main game as a digital version
Surely this video should be “ways to pester your parents for money” 😂
