    • well you're wrong. Dogs are capable of very nasty things too. They can kill and eat their own puppies for example and they can kill human babies too

    • If you think about it, humans and dogs are EXACTLY the same. We are as a species SO SCARED of each other. When we show each other love, it’s the same as Ralph’s reaction. The major difference is that dogs know what love is. Unfortunately, humans don’t.

    • So beautiful. I have noticed that with other rescues. They really are starving for affection but at the same time they have had to have their defenses up while on their own or while being abused. He finally had someone he could trust.

    • I cried too when I saw his eyes looking at the volunteer. I could feel how hurting it was for him. Dogs are simple, and they need to be loved and cared, and they will put all their trust in you.

    • holy moly. got to the part you're talking about. powerful. :( I'll be hugging my 3 later when I'm home. they all come from various situations of abuse but are now treated as family members. I hate to think of any of them being this angry. too see that new trust forming in him is tough to watch without tearing up.

    • That's true. Some people seem to forget that dogs are very social animals by nature, and dogs like this one who've become hardened from abuse and loneliness must feel like they've gone to heaven when they realize they've found someone who cares and will help them.

I’ve watched nearly all of your rescues, Eldad, but this one - watching that hyper-tense, frightened dog - start to close his eyes and very slightly relax (when you were still using the blue rag) was truly amazing and extremely moving! Just an incredible moment! Again, a very sincere, heart-felt “thank you” to you and your staff. 🇨🇦

You can see the very moment when Ralph's demeanor changed and he decided that maybe, just maybe, THESE humans weren't going to hurt him after all...and then he became a whole different dog. I can understand that some of the music that has been chosen for these videos have a meaning to match the sentiment of what rescuing is all about. Perhaps the music can be for the intro/outtroor in the background softly so that we can still hear your voice. Thank you for all you do!

    • @Steve A People like you do not understand about having a rescue animal it been to a lot the lives have been change they not homeless anymore you But you don't understand it so many animals out here have been tossed out on the street but people don't hear how they live or die but you don't understand it

  • You do a brilliant job and it makes so glad there are People like you about I have always had Rescue Dogs my Gissi passed away 3 months ago it broke my heart, he was a rescue dog it took me 3 Years to teach him he can trust People around us that I will never let anyone hurt him again, no age or history on the boy as he was found on the street half beaten to death he gave me 9 happy years a lot of Health issues but he was worth every penny ...........keep up the great work

  • I am actually going to use this method of rehab on a dog at my local humane society. They’re gonna put her down soon because she has fear aggression but imma try to save her by doing this
