I actually run one at times at work but mostly I run the front end loader loading anything from small trailers to tri axle trucks even at times simi's so I tell people that I'm 57 and still play with Tonka toys only real ones.

No, look at what he's using it for. It's to stop too much stone running down at once, not something they can do by hand. From other clips I've seen if the conveyor gets too much weight on it then it stops running

Not only that, the rest of the time he's pulling the stone down steadily, the cobblestone seems to carry the highest risk of injury of any of the cargo they carry, this puts the operator out of harms way
