ooooook lots to take in here so let's break this down one by one. so the hair.. great. love the chance, no one else is doing it and idk of anyone else has ever done this in competition (please let me know if another girl or team has..) it's fitting of Russia, and it's different and I like the cultural touch, especially with hoop/club routine. the leotards.. I may not like the hot pink patch on the bottoms but other than that, again, different and definitely fitting for rio. the crowd will love the style with the hair and the colors. it's strong to match the liveliness of the routine. they are fine the routine... better than usual, still don't like some of the downgraded changes they made but they seem to be keeping them. the beginning is key and where most of their difficulty is and that looked good here. the music... we are so used to it by now but I do have to admit that only now am I kind of obsessed with it. I sing it all the time and it's really grown on me as appropriate for the rio games. it will work

I totally agree! A lot of their good collaborations were downgraded. My favorite was the one borrowed from last year's routine where four of the girls circle around and intertwine the ribbons, then in pairs do a walkover and throw the ribbons with their feet. (2:39) Now it just looks stupid and awkward with two girls holding the ribbons on the ground waiting for Tatareva to jump over it. Speaking of the music, I've had the first half stuck in my head ever since they first showed the routine in the Kazan Exhibition. "1, 2, 3, 4... SAMBA~!" haha.

+urbansketch94 today is the day. let's see what type of mood they are in and how they will qualify on the big stage. I have a feeling they will go in strong and clean, for some reason I don't feel there will be issues today. not a lot of pressure and the judges yesterday seem to give the benefit of the doubt in times of hesitation and bobbles with the Russians.. particularly with yana's ball and clubs routine. downgrading and going for perfection vs difficulty seems to pay off in the long run in Rio even though I wish the more difficult elements were part of it still. hoping for a no1 qualifying finish so the finals are much simpler to handle. go russia

Exactly! You could not have said it better yourself. It's the fact that their costume seems to be for many people too distracting. As a result, their costume don't enhance their choreography and routine, it overshadows it!

I am sorry but do you find the routine interesting? Has no choreography. It is one huge mess where even they don't know what they are doing.

I dont get Why everyone is hating leotards and hairstyle, in my option Leo fits perfecly to the routine!! Everybody is just jelous because they have such a BIG talent

Very elegant outfit..haha. Anyway shouldn't they have a penality for that? Is it allow to wear such a leotard? Maybe..but i hope they will wear something else at OG.
