  • Kristi Noem just relayed a story about how she was abandoned and neglected in her childhood, but instead of doing better with the future, she wants to normalize that fear for everyone. That's terrifying but makes a lot of sense for how these people are created, why they are always so scared of everything and why they think everyone needs to be scared of everything.

    • I’m also sure the 2 yo will do great fighting in the well regulated militia when the tyrannical government appears (to try to take her gun away?). Because the 2nd/gun rights are based on the idea that you are part of a well regulated militia…. the (NRA dark money payed off federal society’s) SCOTUS judges having ruled that essentially all Americans are synonymous with the well regulated militia. Although I believe even those judges don’t consider 2 yo as “militia fighters”… especially since US laws-in adherence with international laws-bans those younger than 18 to fight in a war.

  • That traumatizing childhood story reminds me a lot of mine. When I told my therapist some of the "lessons" I was taught, her jaw was on the floor. Its amazing how we can delude ourselves into thinking abuse was OK or funny or a way to teach. Eyes opened.

    • My older brother made me stand up to a bully who had hit me (I was about 10). I got beaten and bloodied, but he was "proud of me for standing up for myself." The kid was two years older than me and a head taller. My brother was 13 years older, and an adult. I was not allowed to cry afterwards, either. The sad thing is that many people reading this will probably think he did the right thing.

    • I would love to see Klepper and Roy trade off, with Chang and Desi getting some fill-in nights, so Klepper can do some field pieces still. Hassan is great, but he needs his own show *again*, but on a better network. I would be all for Klepper having The Daily Show and Roy having a HEAVILY SUPPORTED show on right after, ala "The Nightly Show" - with BOTH shows produced *together*, by the same group overseen by Klepper and Roy and Chang and Desi.

If the news can't go any further, they cover and say these things on comedy shows instead for general consumption to reinforce the "confirmation bias". 'BLDM' would show that.
