Sudden switch to 3 on 2 is a real challenge. She did so well. And the method to visualise it for her is great.

@Master K ٠0ض٠ مخيف ٨لهه
This kid just taught me how to read music 😅
Omg ha me too!
THAT GIRL IS AMAZING 😱
That child
Which one?
This kid is even smarter than that one brain cell in my brain
Huh?? Just kidding.
@Merciless🗿well the brain is not really built for that. Like they say if you were to drop a money dollar bill or something and reach to grab it you probably couldn't they show you in slow-motion somebody dropping a dollar bill and then trying to snatch it in midair before it hits the ground and almost nobody can do it it's rare that anybody really can your hand-eye coordination you're fine motor skills your brain is not meant to do that and people that think they can multi-task you know doing multiple things like the dropping and grabbing and the processing where the money is your brain is trying to multitask all those things and we can't some people are better at it but overly nobody really can know we're not really built for multitask. like if the teacher is trying to give a lecture and you're not really paying attention you're only like half listening in your drawing on your notebook and the teacher comes by and says Johnny what are you doing let me see that would you like to share that with the whole class please tell me what I was just talking about you're not going to you're only going to focus a little bit on each thing you're going to miss something you know you're not going to focus on both fully you're only going to focus a little bit on the lecture and a little bit on your drawing and you're going to miss out somewhere your brain can't multitask it's not meant to do that so the fact that her brain can multitask and can do those things at once the fact that she can do a 3 and 2 at the same time or a 4 and 2 or whatever. I mean like the fact that she can keep two separate beats one hand tapping for A beat of 2 and the other hand topping for a beat of for at the same time and the brain is not getting distracted I couldn't do that you know if I was tapping my left hand for a beat of 4 and the right hand was tapping a beat of 2 I may not have a problem for like 30 seconds and then my brain would be confused and I would immediately start having both hands tap at 2 or tap at 4 and I think that would be most people's response cuz we're not really meant to do that. Her brain might work more than most you know she might be prodigy. And yeah we wouldn't really necessarily think of keeping beat as a sign of prodigy but maybe because she can and most people can't you know most people aren't able to do that.
Hahah
Don't be so rude with you 😅
I agree. Me too!
She doesn’t need an Oscar,The Oscar needs her
do you mean…grammy?
I would never have that kind of coordination, amazing
Vrbr

Amazing 😍🤩. She's headed for Stardom.
I’ve learned how to read notes better from this little girl than I ever have from any music teacher I’ve ever had
Same
Weird teachers you had here... although I had some strange explanations too, I couldn't figure out how counting worked until after 7 years of music school, and I mainly figured it out via music theory videos... Like I could do it when I was studying, but without conceptually understanding what it was
same for me 2 😆
same 😭
Bruhhh me too, had a music class and I never understood music notes until I saw this video.
She did really well 🥰👏🏾💞
I can't believe I am older than her and does so well she is talented ❤❤ I hope she continues

As a percussionist I believe this kid would make a great drummer
Aye so sad I can never keep a beat, not that I play the drums, I play violin
Seriously though, either snare or tenor - Percussionist & Drumline member
Doesn’t matter what you think! Aunt Jemima calls the shots! 🎉
same -percussionist and drummer 💗

She is going to be an amazing drummer 😮
I love the way I look at the girls
That child has more talent in her hands than I have in my whole body
Sus
Real talent
She's been training since she was her mama belly. Seriously! Her dad is a musician n he played all the time. As an infant he would lay her on the piano as he played. It's amazing. She's absolutely a genius.

She has probably been playing an instrument before she could walk! Bless her heart!
Parents probably had her listening to concertos in utero.
This kid deserves an oscar
SHE IS REALLY AMAZING ❤❤❤❤
Damn her brain coordination is so well taught at such a young age 🔥 If she continues she'll be a great musician
@Victory Base That's like saying someone's amazing at math and instruments because of their parents even though they don't even know it.
@Victory Base It very is taught. I don't know who you think comes out the womb with this talent but you're surely wrong.
That isn’t taught. It’s dna 🧬
Essa foi uma das lives mas longas q eu já vi :3
I sure am gonna learn if I can’t! Thanks Mama! 💋

Talented child👶
Only drummer can easily switch in that kind of beat👍
I've learned more from this small childs demonstration than my professional music tutor 🤧
@NLT4Ever #1 fr 😭
She made beats timing notes look easy
Same 🙃
she was amazing 😍🎉 WOW
She is so talented and cute 🥰.
Dude this little girl just taught me more about reading music than any of my teachers ever did 🤣
Entonces tuviste pésimos maestros
@Spider monkey123 They aren't notes they represent different speeds of rhythm from 1 to 4 beats per second
To be fair, she’s not really reading the music she is playing a toon for every note.
Same here 🤗
Right! I get the basics now
She is amazing and to answer the question no I cannot 😂
I must say your sweater and your earrings are killing 🔥😍🌹
As a percussionist she's way better than my entire class 😭
@Spider-Chu oh, got it 😁
@Sai Darahaas Ayyangalam I meant can
@Spider-Chucan't relate, really? Playing 3's and 2's simultaneously is no joke for a lot of people.
Can’t relate. I am also a percussionist
So cute and talanted❤️
Living for ur sweater
That child is nailing the notes perfectly, I’m supprised
Ikr? I'm a band kid and thought " damn that kid is good, I can't do that😂😅".
😊😊❤❤❤❤❤🥺🥺🥺
To hurgtsigtsoer ei j😢😮🎉😅😂😊
We shouldn’t be surprised.Children know more and are capable of anything. We gotta thank her parents. This is dedication and hard but rewarding work. I could never do this without training and opportunities.
ang galing
amazing child
This was a birth of a young excellent drummer. Do not let her talent lose!!
Good for any musical instrument really. Wish I had the see skills!
@Riot Ringer да, способности ритмические есть, мне тоже первое время было сложно, только соединять правые триоли(3) и левые четверти(1) (или наоборот) :}
@Элин🖇🖤 да, чувство ритма идеальное) Мне этого оч не хватало, когда в самом начале пыталась открепить правую ногу от правой руки😂 Ей хоть пианистом, хоть кем, все равно получится
I'm a drummer and she is fantastic i swear
Это не обязательно барабанщик, она может быть и пианистом
Sooo cuuteee❤
And here I am an adult who replays the video over and over again and fails every time. This girl is incredible!!
Can we just talk about how adorable that little girl is
What
Go ahead...You start
The shirt is adorable!
Brilliant coordination 😊
That kid has potential to be in the back of every band concert
@Ccc but a realistic way
that’s a strange way to say percussion
🥁
😂
she so gifted and i love your shirt is soooo CUTEE❤❤❤

Cuz she Chinese
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Wow she did great ❤
Her math is going to be impeccable
Future percussionist right there
@Ежик в тумане I mean, she's still young tho. Some can it after practicing but some cannot even after practicing..
@Ежик в тумане but she is young and this is impressive for her, can't we congratulate her? 😅
Бля, это обычная основа музыкального образования.
as a percussionist, I'm impressed 😭
Dangggg that's good.. idk if I can do that!!!
That kid is so talented
@Julian Galicki 💀
@Julian Galicki 🤣🤣🤣
She just probably has asian parents, its her responsibility
lt' a girl no boy pero bueno toca hermoso y saludos
@xxhosamxx same
This is brilliant!!
ماشاءالله تبارك الله عليها
That child is more talented than I could ever be my whole life😂
Same
@Artsy_wolf 12 wish I could relate
Same 😭😂
I feel like this is great practice for using both sides of your brain because I feel as though one side of mine is stronger than the other xD
Essa garota tá de parabéns já treino música a 2 anos e estou aprendendo ritimo quase agora ela deve ter uns 5 ou 4 anos enquanto eu já tenho 12 incrível
L😊p
I’m 23….It took me a good 5 minutes of intense focus on that 3/2 pattern for me to figure out what a 3 year old can do🤦♂️💀
@M Lee omg that was so interesting! I don't do music but I tried it out and it actually worked!
My uncle was a percussionist and he taught my family to use the rhythm for Carol of the Bells to do it. I’m trying to think of how to explain it… I’ll do capitals for RIGHT hand, lowercase for left, and MiX for BoTh? (If course you could switch right and left, this is just how I do it.) Here goes something: HaRk HOW the BELLS. SwEeT SIL-ver BELLS. AlL SEEM to SAY ThRoW CARES a-WAY I don’t think I explained that well … hopefully someone understands or could explain better
@MURPHY 🩰 @Apple pie both of yall spitting big facts!!
@MURPHY 🩰 Exactly.
@Black Vinyl You know that saying right? The older you get the less you remember, because the brain works backward as you get older. You add very little to memory but each day you subtracting from it.
Future Godess of the drum
I had to learn how to do this in 7th grade for orchestra. It was really fun once I got it down
this is such a good exercise for drummers. every musician knows timing and metronome but this is inherently great for drummers
And pianists
This is true and since I am a violist and it is actually really easy for musicians 😅
I was counting in “drumspeak” as she was playing, lol.
I wonder how much they make her practice to get this stuff down pat? This is Amazing but she's also incredibly young.
Talent 🎉
Ah yes. The kid that our Asian parents compare us with.
wow so good that kid
W0W that's amazing for her age 😮
There’s so much talent in this earth🫶🏽
Ikr 🎉
You're so right!!! 🥰
Amazing 👏🏻
The Little girl is such A Pro 😍😍
I actually was trained to do this at a young age too. It’s a fun and useful skill to have.
Yep, I was, too. I play drums and my uncle taught me this before I was able to play every day. Worked great. It came naturally. But I also come from a family of musicians and watching, listening to them practice daily from the womb I was doing it before being really taught according to him.
@maccha it trains ur sense of rhythm
Same!
@maccha i believe they are called polyrhythms. it’s basically when two contrasting rhythms are being played at the same time. believe it or not the ones shown in this video aren’t too difficult to learn (unless you’re as young as that brilliant girl) and open gateways for many musical masterpieces. look up jacob collier if you haven’t already heard of him; he can do like 5 different rhythms on one hand, it’s really amazing.
Same. Anyone who picks up an instrument at an early age learns this, especially pianists and other percussionists.
Great job!!!!!
Por causa desse vídeo eu vim entender como se lê as notas musicais 😅
Na-ah, nope, no way, I'm leaving in shock... SHE DID NOT JUST DO THAT!
That's so beautiful Looks easy but it is far from easy
