    • A lot of country's cuisines are taken from other cultures, everything from spices to basic ingredients to whole dishes. They've almost all influenced each other in many ways.

  • Italian and Indian should have been the final. Tough call that one. But Italian food is the best in the world. The problem is these boys eat British versions of the cuisines. Chinese is way different to what we get in the UK, more sweet and south based. Whilst Portugese is not at all Nandos 😂 and Turkish food is more diverse and covers more meals than they give credit (sweet food alone should have got them into the quarters)

    • You can’t expect a Brit to prefer Italian over Indian. British Indian cuisine has been around for centuries, most of the restaurants in Britain are Indian, at this point it’s part of British culture too. And most Brits know their stuff.

    • @@user-ed7et3pb4o Well I'm British and my family are British and prefer Italian over Indian, whereas I prefer Indian; authentic Indian that is (alot of British Indian isn't, or less so in years gone by). Anyway, I stated Indian and Italian should be in the final. You wouldn't have Indian food everyday, but you can have pasta and pizza etc most days. So I think the two are quite even overall.

  • I have to take objection with the Nando's statement. Nando's is very much South African, not Portuguese... it's like saying Domino's Pizza is Italian when it's an American cuisine. Yes Nando's is Portuguese inspired no doubt but it is South African. I still remember my days back in Zimbabwe having Nando's, tastes a lot different from the Nando's here in the UK. Credit where it's due please and thank you;) Apart from that nice light hearted video.

  • This is pretty interesting to watch. I get the impression that English people rate certain cuisines higher than Americans would and vice versa. For example, I don't really know too many people in the states that would rate Indian food very high. If it was between Indian and Italian I think most Americans I know would pick Italian. Same thing with Nigerian and Mexican. Maybe it's because it's what we're exposed to, but Nigerian food isn't something I've had here while Mexican is very prevalent. I imagine it's probably the opposite in England.

    • Most restaurants in the U.K. are Indian. It’s part of British culture at this point, and there’s far more variety and authenticity available in Britain than in America. Plus the Indian immigrants in America tend to be richer and more well off to start with, and less likely to run restaurants.

  • I think they don't have much idea about Indian foods .. India has a lot varieties of foods .. for sure the best cuisine .. being a Indian even I couldn't try all dishes how can they know about this .. Indian cuisine is way better than other .. let try them and then give them a chance to decide ..🙏❤️

  • I have to say that people have still not discovered 90% of Indian food. With all due respect if one dish is famous from one country then India has 36. It's not only just the mother language that changes in every state in India but so does the culinary choices. I wonder who picks Spanish over Turkish food, there's just no competition here. People should thank Turkey for saving the world from bland food. Also, people have to thank the Gupta dynasty in India that invented the extraction process of sugar. Now, which dessert would have been possible without that haha?
