She just wanted to change things around. The usually always sings the song like its was recorded. In 2006 she started using whistle sometimes. In 2010 she began to be a bit jazzy. But for the most part its the same

Tolles Video! Die Probleme die sie mit ihrer Stimme hat kommen von ihren Stimmknoten, die sie schon seit ihrer Kindheit hatte und durch die sie auch ihre "whistle notes" erzeugen kann. Sie hat dadurch manche Tage da klappts mit der Stimme und manche da klappt gar nix.. Natürlich kommt dann noch das altern dazu. Ich finde sie hört sich super an hier und es ist schön zu hören, dass sie doch noch einiges auf dem Kasten hat!

Ja irgendwas fehlt bei Mariah heutzutage, oder letztlich schon seit 2000+ denke ich, und ehrlichgesagt, auch wenn mich einige dafür gleich erschiessen werden, ich denke du singst sie hier locker an die Wand mit deinen Einlagen (feel so alive), die haben einfach mehr Power für mich. Ich weiss auch nicht, bin kein Spezialist, aber ich hab einfach auch das Gefühl die runs klingen oft irgendwie bissel abgehackt und nicht 100% flüssig für mich. Damit will ich aber in keinster Weise sagen das sie nicht absolut genial und stilbildend in den 90ern gewesen ist, und ein Vorbild für viele Sängerinnen wie Morissette z.b. und viele heute vielleicht auch nicht so gut wären wie sie sind ohne Mariah.
