A Chevrolet Caprice PPV and a Ford prisoner transport truck of the Boston Police Department responding to an incident with their lights and sirens cycling through wail, yelp and hi lo. The police truck is probably equipped with the Federal Signal Touchmaster Delta using the Ultra Hi-Lo siren. I'm surprised that neither vehicle has its headlights on nor are they equipped with wig-wags.

It’s depressing to see that the caprice didn’t make its mark and even more so that Chevy stopped taking orders for them. Although there is still a lot of them around it’s rare to see one.
The city of boston had them for a long time itill Fords came in but today they have them around South boston
We dumped them after their suspensions kept failing.
Awesome. Nice to see a Caprice.
Nice catches! I don't remember what was the last time I have seen a Chevy Caprice.
It's a rebadged golden in the US a Chevy Caprice PPV. It's a Holden Caprice. I live in the US. It's a nice car. Its fast too having a 6.0L V8 with 355HP and 155mph(252km/h) top speed.
For anyone, the siren at 0:30 is the Federal signal touchmaster ultra Hi-Lo
Hey just like the Chicago police siren
Actually a Touchmaster TM4 or earlier, The Delta is the newer version
@@benjaminbonelli9335 seems like they don’t even use that siren anymore.
Amazing catch. Love this Caprice!
Damn 0:4 those siren gave chills, reminds me of NYPD siren
If the Caprice had got the Holden Commondore VF facelift...
Very Nice!
Fantastic catch! :D
Great catch, think I prefer the impala to the caprice but still really nice looking units.
Christmas video in April. 😊
Ho Ho Ho! ;)
Nice

Good
And the highlander gets blocked by karma Nice Also, never seen multiple fender lights before, usually just a Vertex or Cannon
Daniel MacKinnon It’s because it’s a Code 3 package designed to directly replace where the factory side indicator assemblies are.
Interesting. I'd never seen it before either, but don't see too many marked Caprices either.
Worcester Massachusetts has Chevy Caprices also along with some Ford Explorers! Ma State Police also have some unmarked Caprices also.
0:41 actually i love thia type of FORD F450 when it come to trucks and pickups
Neat video!
Thanks! ;)

Great video! I believe that Boston police vehicles used to have their whites and wig wags activated by the siren, not sure if these vehicles fall under that. There is another video on KZhead of a Boston Police Crown Victoria that has its wig wags and whites activated. Strange because you see the whites briefly activate on the Caprice, but then remain blue. Seems like they both don't fall under that however so it's very interesting to see them with just blues.
Thanks! Yeah, I've seen plenty of Boston PD Crown Vics running wig wags and also the Ford Explorers. Concerning the wig wags activated by the siren, you might be referring to this video, although all the lights do are flash, they don't really alternate although maybe they would if the siren were on for longer. kzhead.info/sun/jbppqtaanYqYd4U/bejne.html
Code3Paris really? That’s interesting. I haven’t seen the explorers do that. Only the crown Victoria’s. I haven’t seen that video either, so that’s very interesting to see as well! The video which I saw was this Code3Paris interesting, I’ve never seen that video before. But that’s interesting that they have it wired in lol that. The video I saw was this: kzhead.info/sun/ZdhvZcOXn5-gm58/bejne.html . I think that’s a valor light bar so it’s probably calibrated differently than the older one in that video you suggested. Interesting none the less.
It's because the Caprice was using the manual wail, which didn't turn on the wig wags. You can see the wig wags and whites in the lightbar activate briefly when the officer is using the hi lo siren tone. I find that most of the vehicles equipped with the FS Valor lightbar will switch to a more aggressive flash pattern when the siren is on a continuous mode.
Good eye! ;)
Oh yeah, I forgot about that video! Thanks!

UNITROL 💪😎💪
👍
Though is is normal in most large cities in Massachusetts and some other states. More departments should use patrol wagons . I still see on TV shows following LE, they are trying to put a good size person or fighter in a car. They need a wagon.
Christmas!
Does Boston pd not believe in normal sirens?? Just asking for a friend you know...
Kam, everything is all electronic sirens now. You have wail/yelp/hi-lo/pierce/phaser and the deep sound is rumbler for people that don't hear them coming. It is a deep bass sound that is created with bass speakers underneath the wheel wells. Key manufacture is Whelen and Federal Signal Corporation.
@@coreygillet they're actually smart siren systems programmed with the unitrol tones. I love whelen sirens but they're just too common. Eveyone use them
@@znovosad555 no, it's Federal Signal Unitrol SSP3000B SmartSiren have touchmaster delta ultra hi-lo tones, and the SmartSiren Platinum air horn, I also love Whelen sirens
Siren at 0:24?
Those Ford trucks they have, what exactly are they for, like SWAT/ESU or prisoner transport because I see them in a bunch of videos and when I went to Boston
Hi, thanks for your comment. Those are for prisoner transport.
Could someone please answer the phone??
Very nice !! What's 0:33's siren ?
Federal Signal Unitrol Touchmaster
Thanks ♪ヽ(´▽`)/

Federal Signal Smart Siren (Touchmaster Tones programmed)
@@doodlebug1893 Only reason I remember that siren: the siren used by the Chicago Police (especially in the game Midtown Madness.)
Some of Boston Polices's sirens are the same as the NYPD's.
0:04
Both need wigwag headlights
They have them, it's just they only active when the light/siren controller is at full code 3. I think the officers were just flipping the switch between code 2 and 3.
