That sounds plausible. Although personally I don't want Movie 4 to focus on Metal. Robotnik already teamed up with Knuckles in movie 2 and Shadow in movie 3. Another story where Robotnik teams up with a rival would sound a bit repetitive to me. Especially if it's another Sonic clone. I'd rather see a movie about Chaos. A giant God of destruction and the whole echidna lore around it. That would sound a lot more interesting to me. But it's probably going to focus on Metal. If that's the case, it might be a time travel story. It could be based partly on Sonic CD and partly on Sonic Heroes. Amy would have to be involved. I guess it could work as a movie just fine. I'd just personally rather see a movie about Adventure 1 right now.

Yes, that's what a remake is. It's a new game that takes inspiration and concepts from the original. It's not a reMASTER, which is the original with a fresh new coat of paint and some small tweaks and improvements.

Just catching up on this, the comments are on you for that shiny glow lmao. Now that you bring up the potential connection of this remake to the Sonic movies though. It's actually starting to make a lot of sense. Why would a Heroes remake be in "early planning stages"? Because they might be lining it up with a potential Sonic Movie 4. Just like Sega is lining up all this Shadow stuff with Movie 3. Sega usually takes up to 2 years to make a game. What's the time gap between the Sonic movies? Two years. And assuming Metal Sonic isn't in Sonic Movie 3 in some way... he'd 100% be next in line as a major character for the movie franchise. Since he's up there as one of the most popular characters. Why Heroes? Because besides CD, a game they already re-released for Origins, its his most prominent role (unless they want to touch Sonic 4 again... lmao) Of course, this depends on Movie 4 even happening. But its an interesting idea. I just hope it doesn't get scrapped in favor of them going the lazy route and attaching a half baked "Episode Metal" to some other game lol.

Definitely down for a remake wishlist. I haven't played heroes since I was really young actually and have been thinking about revisiting it lately. Weirdly i've played shadow more recently, and some of things about the physics feel a little off, so i'm curious what your opinion is about that. I also am not good about getting back to games to finish/replay them if they feel repetitive to me, but I didn't really have an issue with that in Adventure. All that is to say I would like to hear the thoughts from the guy who knows the game best
I want to see the Heroes video. It is at least still being considered after all. As for Metal Sonic, I'm not sure if they would do Metal Sonic as the main pull for a movie, especially if they plan to do Silver afterwards, if not next.

hello there PREEEEEEEEEM, boy oh boy, you're going to make a video about how to makee a sonic heroes remake, i have so many ideas in regards to how to do it first the campaign structure , and here i think some thing need to be said in regards to playing the game four times and that , it can be handled in a different way that is far more tolerable and makes it good enough to complete the game, in which each team still has its own campaign but with only certin levels, not all of them, which from my perspective go like this Team Sonic : Seaside Hill, Ocean Palace, Grand Metropolis, Power Plant, Casino Park, Bingo Highway, Rail Canyon, Bullet Station, Frog Forest, Lost Jungle, Hang Castle, Mystic Mansion, Egg Fleet, and Final Fortress Team Dark : Seaside Hill, Ocean Palace, Casino Park, Bingo Highway, Hang Castle, Mystic Mansion, Egg Fleet, and Final Fortress Team Chaotix : Grand Metropolis, Power Plant, Rail Canyon, Bullet Station, Frog Forest, Lost Jungle, Egg Fleet, and Final Fortress other than that, i think that team rose should be some sort of a side story that is optional to play, meaning that you'll have only 3 teams with the entire game being played for over a little bit more than twice rather than four times to unlock the final boss, an other thing i want to point out has to do with none other than the level design i don't know how you'll feel about that, but while i'm with sonicc heroes stages being the way they are, i understand though that for a lot of people, this is one of those things that do not sitt well with them, especially in regards to how flat the level design is, that no matter how good or engaging each level flow is , that level that feel like flat space with a certain amount of level geometry, repetitive sections of each level, along with a very restrictive amount of alternate paths , just take away from the experience for a lot of people how ever a certain fan game i stumbled upon named Sonic World DX, which did a FANTASTIC job making many characters feel like their unique style of game while being their own thing, has what i believe one of, if not the best versions of seaside hill i've ever seen , you may be surprised if i told you this, but aside from the fact that this fan game has the team based mechanic , that seaside hill i'm talking about has SOOOOOO much going on , from alternate paths, open spaces, taking advantage of different character types, it's so good that i found myself spending a lot of time playing this fan made version of the stage that i'm till founding out about many ways how to go across the level, which far surprass any stage from sonic heroes, which show what heroes could've truly been , had it more development time rather than what they did to lizuka who lost over 22 pounds working on the game and nearly lost his life, which is some thing he never deserved to go through, so , what if a remake can have that much quality in level design, while here is my ideas for Ocean Palace, Power Plant, Bingo Highway, Bullet Station, and Lost Jungle, those levels should follow some thing along the lines of a well balanced approach of speed, platforming, and exploration, where there quite a number of paths to take in , with a lot but good amount of open space and engaging level geometry to go through, allowing for far more creativity of going through those levels, those levels would be the biggest challenge to deal with, specially Bullet station which would require the biggest over haul of them all, but i don't think it can not be pulled off for Seaside Hill, Grand Metropolis, Casino Park, Rail Canyon, Frog Forest, Hang Castle, Mystic Mansion, Egg Fleet, and Final Fortress, those stages should follow some thing along the lines of a speed, and platforming balanced approach, exploration on the other hand would be far little present, regulated mostly for secret areas, while those stages would be a different challenge of their own, but i think they are easier to deal with, Hang Castle, Mystic Mansion, and Final Fortress, would require a lot of over haul though and those are my ideas, what are your thoughts about it , don't forget to talk about it in a reply though also one more thing i want to say and this is some thing i agree with you, is that we NEED A DECOMPILATION, seriously sonic fans, we have the pc version of the game so it's time to do it
I’ve got 20 save files at 100% in sonic heroes (120/141). Personally I’m a topic candidate to consider for ways to keep the game faithful. I know a lot of the tips and tricks that make the game what it is. I value difficulty in challenging games, I’ve also 100% sonic 06 (180 gold medals) and got all the dev times for crash 4 among many other games. I will be posting them on my channel as my personal CV

I have heard that unfortunately the RenderWare engine Sega used to make that game is defunct and is owned by EA, meaning that if Sega does try to remake Sonic Heroes they will have to build a new engine that can handle the production of that game and make thier own version of it. So if they do remake Heroes, it would take a lot of time for that to happen, and not get released as soon as lots of websites are currently saying that it could. At least that makes it more possible that Unleashed might be on Sega's mind to be the next old 3D Sonic game to remake or remaster after the Sonic X Shadow Generations game gets released later this year! They won't remake the Adventure games yet because they currently don't have enough trust from the fans to risk doing that. That videogame company has to prove that they won't mess up the production of remakes of those 2 beloved Sonic games by making remakes or remasters of other old games in a good amount of HD quality first. Though if they will remaster Sonic Unleashed, please may they add in the feature that was in the options menu of Frontiers, which is difficulty modes for that game! So that players of any age who haven't had enough experience with the boost mechanic and might get into wanting to strongly toss their controller onto the floor and ditch that game from frustration of it being too hard, can have it be made easy enough for them to handle it, and so that talented players who do want challenge to be it can get that.
The leaks mentioned them using unreal engine for their supposed remake. Basically test running it before switching to it for more games. Its definitely never going to be a legit heroes feel but EA cant stop them from remaking it with Unreal.
They don't need any trust from fans to do something. Haven't stopped them before. They'll do remakes and remasters of the most financially viable games. That's why Heroes is being considered above the sa games. Has nothing to do with "enough trust" from fans.
If this turns out to be true the only thing I hope they add is a co op story mode something like shadow the hedgehog or Kirby and the forgotten land and a Neo metal fight in his base form
Was actually playing the pc port of heroes on my ROG ally and it's definitely dated but modding it through reloaded II helped fix that. Still heroes is a great game to play on the go.

This game leak might have just revealed to us that Metal is not going to appear in movie 3, but rather movie 4, and I guess that makes sense, 2024 being the year of Shadow the Hedgehog, and 2026 being the year of Metal Sonic.

Have remastered Adventure 1 and 2 in one collection, remastered Heroes and Shadow in another collection, and a full remaster/remake of 06 by itself since it's bigger than other other 4 games. Same. Considering Heroes and Shadow were made on Renderware (which is currently owned by EA), it would make sense to remake/remaster those if they had to chose. I’d also prefer the Adventue games as well but considering you can still buy those on PC legally, I could definitely see why they pick Heroes.

I doubt Sonic Movie 4 will be a thing cuz Jim Carry would retire at that point and they would need to introduce like 6 or more new Movie Sonic cast and give each of them their time to shine, which like Paramount has the time n budget to do so. Plus no offense but having Movie 4 focus on Heroes story would kinda f up the growing tone of the trilogy a bit tbh. Movie 1 plot is basic buddy cop for kids story. Movie 2 has Sonic learning about the Owl guardian's history with the Echidnas, being a big bro to Tails, and dealing with Knuxs. Then Movie 3 basically will take elements from SA2 so expect the tone to get even more seriously. Then Movie 4 regresses by having the plot basically be a basic power of teamwork film🤨. I get Sonic is for kids but how we get from girl get glocked in the back to a mid Saturday morning cartoon🤨. I mean I guess the writers could improve alot from Heroes story and apply it for Movie 4, but still idk chief I'm still unsure about the plot n characters. I think its best if the Heroes plotline for the movie universe gets an animated tv series. The writers could have Sonic n gang go back to their home n have time to introduce all the teams from Heroes. Plus bring in a new actor for Eggman and have him create Metal Sonic. I get Movie 4 ain't a Heroes movie but having no Jim Carrey and most likely Paramount would only have time to add in 2 or 3 characters in the film just sounds like a mid idea for a Movie n the tean might as well be better of making a tv show. Heres my theory about all of this : I believe that if the heros leaks are true, sega are probably testing the waters of an unreal engine 5 remake Of sonic heros to see if it performs well with the fans and general public. If it does do well, then they will most likely do the same for the adventure games. As much as I love heros, it is no where near as well known as the adventure games. So to test out the engine on heros and then the adventure games makes sense assuming these leaks are true.

@@premydaremy On the PC version, speed characters can't get knocked over, they go into the falling state instead. This makes Team VS bosses a nightmare to A rank. But somebody fixed it 2 months ago on Gamebanana!
I mean, there s no reason not to do a heroes ideal remake video. Literally you can just say "refer to x for my opinion." you already did it with 06 so there's no harm in it. truth be told if SEGA were to use unreal engine 5 for any game in the future, it makes sense to be Heroes and above since, *again* it can tie into the movie.
It could be simply cancelled, it's only 2024, who knows what will be in 2026 in terms of games.
