Maybe one of Europe. There are tons of European countries and if you include all of the semi-countries (Like Scotland and Catalonia, the ones striving for independence) then you got a long video, and everyone likes your full content so length doesn’t really matter. Side note: Also would love if you redrew European borders and added countries they’re a little complicated, they should manifest their destiny. Can’t imagine living in a country which didn’t kick natives out Side side note: Depending on the states size compared to the state it’s facing should affect the chances of victory.
Maybe add an alliance system?

As an Ohioan, this video was an emotional roller coaster, I don't even like Ohio, yet I am very competitive, of course I wanted Ohio to win, yet I knew the odds were so low, once Ohio was defeated I thought it was over, however the plot twist of our redemption gave me hope. I was on the edge of my seat when I found out Ohio made it to the final 5, and I had the most flabbergasted, excited, and disbelieving expression on my face once we won. OHIO FOR THE WIN

Funny, clever and impossible to stop watching.
"Hoosier" typically refers to a resident of the U.S. state of Indiana. It can also be used more broadly to describe anything related to Indiana or its culture. The origin of the term is uncertain, but it has been associated with Indiana since the 1830s.
18:17 “Imagine being neutral” I did my own US State battle royale (states cannot come back after they are out) and it was down to the final two, Kentucky and some other state that I don’t remember (I did this a long time ago). Kentucky was completely neutral for the entire game up to this point while the other state owned the rest of the US. I spun the wheel and Kentucky won. *Imagine being neutral for the whole game and then taking the entire US* .
This happened to me too!
tf can Kentucky be the one neutral state of all of them? they have tons of neighbors, they must have been lucky
I don't like how that works. There should be a wheel determining how much a state is taking from another, and bigger states should be more likely to win.

I absolutely loved this video!!
This was actually an extremely entertaining video.
I would love to see a more complex version of this with counties and stalemates and stuff. Idk what the exact details would be.
Ive done a european version where each country starts with 100,000 strength and each round two random countries are chosen, then two random numbers are chosen from 0 to their strength. The winner is the country with the highest number chosen and both countrys strengths are subtracted by the smallest number. Every round all countries strengths are multiplied by 1% until it reaches 100,000. It's very involved without some coding but it's pretty interesting
@@Oscar-im2xi oh that’s a good idea I could tweak that to do one myself for fun. Strength would be based on the number of counties the state controls
what i was thinking was every country starts with 1 strength and when ever it got a new country it got the strength went up by one
I just finished a sim where I had 4 random # generators and used them to simulate the US states BR with counties. I did it manually so it took literally 8 hours, but Wisconsin won. A state's strength is based on the number of counties it has, so I roll once for which state is chosen, once to choose an opponent from bordering states, once to see who wins based on strength, and once to determine how much they won by (how many counties they will take over).
Sounds like American Risk
The only complaint I have is each fight having a 50/50 chance, when it can be, like, a combined 10 states vs 1. The more states you have, the better odds you should have. Makes upsets more exciting, I’d feel.
I was going to say something like this, but % chance for total land mass. That way there are favorites and potential for upsets from the start.
Not to mention some states should have a decreased odds of winning based on the terrain, or atleast add to percentage of likelihood of a comeback.
yeah it was just completely random. a series of coin flips. attacking state should get a bonus, higher population should get a bonus as well.
Use the same rules as Risk. Assign the number of troops to each state based on Electoral College Votes.
@RandallJamesPeterson I was actually kinda thinking about that. If you want to go crazy with it do it based on representatives (more accurate than electoral college), factor in crime statistics (more crime means lower state cohesion, aka more likely to have defectors), terrain (disadvantage to attacking state vs wildly different terrain), maybe even gun ownership and military presence. It would be an interesting concept but a lot of work.
Very entertaining. I wonder however what the results would be in an actual conventional war and not random chance. it would be too complicated because there would be aliances and pooling of resources and the quality of generals would matter a lot.
I think this would be even more cool/interesting if you played a bit more with the chances rather than making everything even. Like, if you stick with the wheels, maybe attacking states have more like a 60:40 chance of winning, so the odds are in the attacking state's favor (surprise attacks!) but still gives the attacked one a chance. You could also have it so that no matter what the state of the borders are, you are always rolling 52 slots by replacing a defeated state with the state that was victorious. It may let them attack but also force them to be attacked more. If you want to get really interesting and in-depth with it, you could do something involving state size or population or some other metric in order to do a D20 roll. Like for any given matchup based on those metrics, "you must roll a 13 or higher to claim victory, 10-12 is a draw, 9 and under is being conquered." That could make it really exciting for some more underdog storylines 👀
Yeah he has added to the games now, pretty fun
This was fascinating! However, if such a thing were to happen again, shouldn't the win/lose ratio be adjusted according to the number of states under control to simulate greater/lesser resources?
Yes it sounds logical but it would be unfair

It would be fun to do this but determine if the state wins or loses based on some sort of stat between the states. Thank you for adding Puerto Rico! Usually, nobody adds them ❤
Good concept. I want to see a more detailed one though! Like take into account the population, education, strength, resources, etc. that would be one interesting video!
Great video! I think it would be interesting to have the win/lose wheel divided based on the number of states each of the two contenders contains. So, the more that a state grows, the more likely it is to win, which makes upsets have that much more weight when they happen.
You should do the wheel based on population and if a state gets taken the population adds
This is great but the more states a state conquers, the better odds it should have. EG: Hawaii which has control of Alaska vs Oregon should give Hawaii and Alaska 2 to 1 odds
Who remembers Long Kansas?

i think the win lose wheel should have odds based on land mass. so little states dont have a 50/50 chance siince that be less realistic

how do you do this? llike the app you use for the usa map to edit it n stuff
Maybe you should add another “win” option for every annexed state, maybe it would make battles just a little more realistic
This is quite fun, but I think it would be more interesting if the Win/Lose was weighted by at least number of states consumed. Really lets that underdog story have weight rather than random chance alone. Imagine TX gets like 5 states, then one rebels and BARELY makes the win 😅
I need this for the whole world immediately
As a Minnesotan, I'm proud of how far we got. May Minnesota rise again!
It would make the video way longer, but I would do a secondary roll for the losing empire that determines the number of territories they have to give up rather than just get completely wiped out when they lose one battle, unless their state is their only territory then they lose. Also I wasn't paying close attention to when you did the returnee spins but they should either occur every X turns, or have it so there's a % chance every turn that a random defeated state can liberate itself.
So, I've been hooting and hollering this whole video. I about cried when we were conquered, and then were were back! And then we just took over. My mom downstairs probably thinks I'm nuts XD Needless to say; Welcome to Ohio, everyone. I hope you enjoy your permanent stay.
