How much money does China pay you? This is an interesting question and I want to come out and make sure everyone understands what it means to be a China vlogger in 2021. Our world is polarized, anyone speaking positively about China is subject to intense criticism. In today's video I explain how I run my China focused channel as an independent content creator.

And ONE significant thing in their life that they got to "democraticise" through that mechanism. Also Americans preaching about communism while their gigantic MIC is basically legalized parallel mass killing abroad so that it keeps people employed at home. And hefty $$$ from contracts for it owners.

I knew there was unfortunate border clash last year, but it’s a government to government conflict and it has nothing to do with us people. War is the outcome of the old & corrupt trick the young and the innocent to hate each other. Otherwise China and India, there are so much in common. We have the most respect and curiosity of Indian culture and people. I had studied and worked with many Indian bros and sis, and so many of us are working together, we should not be working against each other.

    • Keep up the good work Cyrus! I'm a Singaporean who have travelled to many countries including China and the USA, and find the beauty and strengths in both these superpowers, that will define our future, and already its very difficult to give a balanced view. More often than not, the media in most countries are quite anti-Chinese. Every day I see how the fruits of Chinese labour, priced very lowly, helps to improve the lives of common people every where. Yet these same people speak so angrily about the Chinese government. Often believing that the CCP has spun some kind of illicit web to control the Chinese people. Once I was asked by a westerner - when do you think China will come crashing down, when will the people revolt against the oppression? Having interacted with the Chinese at many levels, the answer will have to be - not anytime soon. Most of the Chinese that I have spoken to are very proud of their country and approving of what the CCP has accomplished - the China Chinese are a pragmatic people - they know the CCP are not perfect, there are some policy mis-steps that has caused misery and even death, there are accidents and there are corrupt officials, but the lives of the vast majority have been lifted - that is good enough for most - they are happy not to be starving, not to be in a chaotic state and most importantly not to be looked down upon - they remember only too well and what they have now makes the grade. Mostly they very earnestly want to do well in whatever they do and provide a very good deal - why else do you think China is becoming the factory of world - its not because of charity that the world is buying from China. So they are almost puzzled why the world thinks poorly of them. I say this because the chinese feel the anger and the disdain that the western media creates with the anti-chinese rhetoric - can you differentiate between the CCP and the chinese person on the street? When you can't live your life as before and your business closes because the "W...n virus"? The incessant news reports of the Chinese military buildup, the Chinese hypersonic missile test, etc. etc. I am sure after a while, there is some collective burden on the Chinese, the way there was collective guilt on many Germans who did or could not stand up against the Nazis. Nonetheless the world also owes a debt a gratitude to the USA for creating the world order that has by and large prevented another world war and allowed most countries to prosper. This tiny red dot is grateful to both too. Its always hard when there's a new kid or 2 in town. A lot of the media action is probably driven by state actors - probably out of fear of what a new world order might look like - better a bird in hand than 2 in the bush. However, when superpowers clash there are casualties. Anyway that's the old playbook, in use since the Roman empire - the remnants of the empire caused untold deaths and sufferings towards the end. It does not have to be a zero sum game - it does not have to be only one big kid on the block - there can be many - all playing nicely - look guys we are going to space - its embarrassing when the aliens see us killing ourselves back home - its much better spending our resources solving real world problems - COP26 - move faster. Cyrus, the work you do is very important - you could win the Nobel Peace prize one day. Shawn too. Ashka and others, thanks for being courageous. Its not easy. I wish I am as brave as you all - this is my bit.

    • Me too. I am an Asian of ethnic Chinese roots, and i really feel sad that the world has come to this stage; a world divided by geopolitics, economic rivalry, colour, and worst of all by LIES.... Let's hope the top leaders of the most powerful nations will realise that the end result of this division is going to be disastrous for all, irrespective of who wins or loses! Lower down the echelon, we the common people must use our individual gift of intelligence and good sense to help the world see the reality, like exactly what good people like Cyrus, et al, are doing

  • Thanks Cyrus for doing what you're doing! I hope your work reaches people in the Western countries. I live in Australia and I'm not from China. So, I've been re-educating myself about China recently, from the opium war to date. I'm deeply saddened by how much China and its people have suffered over the past few hundred years. I'm not a communist, but I see the phrase 'there is only one China' differently. It highlights the importance of unity. I'm not against the West, but I am not fond of the injustices created through Western propaganda due to their insecurities. I really appreciate how China focused inwardly to better itself and its people, rather than taking from and bullying other countries and creating more divide between its people. Praying for world peace!! 🙏

  • I am a Chinese who lives in China. I also studied in the States before. I love my country but also I like the American culture. Especially when I came back from the States, sometimes I miss the place where I lived and the people. So I always watch videos, read news about America because I care about the country where I had lived in and love. I am upset about the relationship between China and America now, cause I really want it to be normal again. I saw westerners criticizing China and Chinese people criticizing America. They are both doing in a similar way. But after watching this guy’s video, I am glad that he is objective. What he said is very close to how I feel about my country. Yes, China is not perfect, but no country is perfect. We need respect on different culture. Flighting would just make things worsen and hurt both sides. I love China and also America. I really want to see the reconciliation between China and America. Both of us need to change.
