  • Amazing , thanks guys! I've been getting stuck in this position all week particularly with bigger heavier guys on top. That far side underhook has been a nightmare to deal with. Can't wait to give this a go.

  • I really like this escape, especially since Kuzure Kesa Gatame is one of the most controlling of all pins.

  • I really like this hold down and hoping to work more on that position and what you could do with it My new teacher is Oren at the UFC gym in Sydney who says he knows you, can see a lot of similarities in your videos to his teaching style, I'm learning heaps from your channel

  • I wouldn't think so. It looks more possible from here than from kesa. That or what's sometimes referred to as a "Von Flue" choke. We're talking about on the far side, by returning to side control.

  • As a Judoka who loves no-gi BJJ and MMA, are there any modifications I can do to make this technique applicable to no-gi? @beyondgrappling

    @aaronlewis6437@aaronlewis64376 жыл бұрын
    • the only spot where it looks like the gi is used is when he grabs the belt so is a non gi situation maybe just grab the pants and pull in the same manner he did the belt.

  • nice escape,providing:Uke does not react and stay in position!Well.....it's not going to happen!so easy countered by a fast transition into Mune or Yoko shiho gatame! done it many times both escape and counter escape.

  • There's a moment when you're really vulnerable to a darce. I think if the guy on top baits this he can use it as a darce setup

    @everythingismediocre@everythingismediocre6 жыл бұрын

      @youmang@youmang8 жыл бұрын
    • You Mang Yes he did. He grabbed the belt to pull him over the top. I was also wondering if there’s a no Gi grip to pull him across. Perhaps grabbing the far side lat/armpit and hip shoveling your hips might be effective.
