Catherine, you're such a great mom! It brought tears to my eyes listening to you talk to your daughter on the phone. I would have never been able to call my mom if I needed her (and if I did call her, I certainly wouldn't have gotten her support). I think it's really great that your daughter knows, no matter what, she can always go to you and you'll always be there for her.

I love how they explained to her that it was important to only call for an important reason. They didn’t yell at her or treat her like her crying for them was nothing. Shows the respect they have for Elle even at a young age
she isn’t spoiled at all, that’s for sure separation anxiety. it’s a change in her routine from being in a pandemic for so long and only seeing her family all the time. she just needs time to adjust, she’s a strong girl and she’ll get the hang of it🤍

That happened to my daughter after being so long with me, school being closed and me laid off from work, it took her a full week to get used to school again, but I had to live her crying because it was the best for her to get used to it again.. but it would kill me to live her like that, and I had to go to work I had no choice, but Elle is going to go be okey.. 💜god blessed this family..

I believe she is spoiled but not in a bad way, in a good way, and I feel like its nothing wrong with being spoiled in a good way, not saying bc the school thing, saying in general, bc my niece is JUST! like her. My niece is spoiled and very very sensitive to the point if you yell at her for something(can be something that is made up) and shes crying, my niece is also very emotional but very spoiled and easy going. her first days of school, her teacher said she spent more time watching kids play instead of playing with bc she did not be around a lot of kids, she is still kinda of scared of making friends outside of school to this day. And two when Austin said Elle is a punk, omg my niece is the same! she is 7 right now and she been getting bullied and beat up by her brother since he was has 1 and hes 3 now she let him beat her up and cries and dont do nothing, like not cutely but aggressively, and her brother can take more pain then she can without crying. Bc he has a pain tolerance, if he fall and is bleeding he act like nothing happened within secs, wont let you doctor him up. She got to the point where she ask to come spend a night with me sometimes to get away from her brother so she can get a break haha.

That baby isn't spoiled. It's perfectly normal for kiddos to get homesick when they first start school. They are transitioning from being home all day to being with all new people and away from their comfort zone. Elle perked up when mom and dad came because that's her safety net. ❤

When Elle started crying and hearing her over the phone has me crying I’m a pre-K teacher and I felt that! Your such good parents literally my kids who cry we just try to comfort them and tell them everything will be okay since parents are working all day and can’t even pick them up :(

I don’t think she’s spoiled, I just think she had a moment. This is her first time to be at a school, around new people, kids, etc so I get why she would feel overwhelmed. I remember having those moments as a kid so it’s understandable.

Honestly they should postpone getting a dog if Elle is scared of the dog. Instead they should go on vacations more frequently which you can’t do when you have a dog. Judging by the giant dog bed, they bought for him, I say that this dog might not be as family friendly as the breeder says and if you don’t give a dog job, it’ll find other ways to let his energy out.

This happened to me EXACTLY. It is so hard going to school now for me. I was online and with my family for the whole 2 years of when I was online. I started school maybe a month ago and I have trouble going to school because of this reason. I believe Elle and I have separation anxiety because it all adds up. I hope she feels better :)

I used to get homesick when I first started school and so did many other people. She’s still young and will grow out of it when she gets more used to it.
It’s normal for her to get homesick and suddenly miss mom and dad. Kids could have a great day and think about being home. There’s structure and rules in school so it may be her adjusting to that as well. Keep communication always with her. You guys are doing great!

When I was a kid I felt sad to go to school because I felt my mom will give all my goodies to my lil sis so I had that constant thought and that made me sad to go but it's just 1st born stuff the consequent sibling does not feel that because he/she knows that my elder is also in school so all the goodies are safe. I’m glad you picked her up and didn’t make her feel bad about it. Children’s mental health is just as important and needs just as much care as an adult! Probably more because they are developing and learning how to regulate emotions and feelings. If adults need mental health days so do children and as parents we shouldn’t be shamed or feel it’s any less important than them physically not feeling well. So amazing job @acefamily !!!

I must admit she has had quite the come up from being a former call girl/ prostitute. She has even less morals now as they are selling their kids. The literally know that lots of peds watch these videos, they are putting their children in danger for money. Having pictures of their house just for the flex means one of these Monsters can grab their kids in seconds. I turned down a contract for a TV commercial for my son as his safety is worth more money than the world can offer me. A well known Model agency also wanted to sign him and I said no thanks.

As a nursery teacher it’s okay for kids to feel this way doesn’t mean they are spoiled sometimes children have off days it’s totally normal. Many parents especially in the first couple weeks come early to pick their children up if they aren’t having a good day ❤️

I love how catherine handled the situation with elle! She comforted her, validated her feelings, but also corrected the behavior by telling her can’t do that again and she should only call in an emergency. Love the parenting I’m sure people are going to say they shouldn’t have picked her up but this is their first time as parents sending their kids to school and this is elle’s first time being around complete strangers all day! It’s a learning experience for everyone and like I said I think catherine handled this PERFECT! You go mama!

@@missld6856 I think that we, as people, regardless of our title as a parent, government official, manager, celebrity, etc at the end of the day, we're all human. And as humans, we tend to have character flaws...I know I certainly have mine. But having a character flaw i.e. mismanagement of time, mismanagement of funds, being lazy, etc doesn't mean we don't love our children. I don't agree with everything they do as parents but if they are having financial difficulties, perhaps a financial counselor could help.
When I first went to school , I used to cry daily from home I used to be excited for school but as soon as school arrives I used to cry like hell ... I remember but my dad never comforted me like they both did , I used to cry a lot . But elle babe you're lucky stay smiling like this

Catherine and Austin handled this perfectly.. they let her know she can always count on them BUT that she can't do that all the time and that this was the first time and it was an exception. And also it's underrated that Austin asked "Nothing happened right?" He wants to ensure his daughter wasn't hiding anything without putting words in her mouth because often times kids will not tell the truth 100% of the time out of fear of getting in trouble. They handled this like pros and Elle, Alaïa, and Steel are the luckiest kids to have such loving parents.
You guys handled your daughter situation perfect. She’s going to have her hard days when she’s used to being at home. It will get easier on her. ❤️

Awe hearing her little cry broke my heart. She is such a mommy's girl. Very understandable for her crying and just wanting to be with mama and daddy. You two are awesome parents. Elle knows she can always count on you two to protect her and make her feel safe. As for the dog name what about Kahlua?
