Я 2 года по работе прожила в другой стране. Люди просто не понимают, что съездить в отпуск на неделю и переехать жить насовсем это две большие разницы. Если у вас есть лишние нервы, силы и деньги дерзайте, но это не будет легкой прогулкой, тем более сейчас ..

Most people from moscow recently , especially the young generation, have moved from all parts of russia to go to moscow, which is the international center of russia. When international companies leaves it hits them the hardest , and they feel left out and disconnected. Ask anyone in st peter, sochi, vladivostok, they will absolutely love to stay in Russia.
People are moving to Moscow cause it has a higher quality of life than any other Russian city. And they're moving to other countries for the very same reason.

Большинство хотят не столько переехать, а попутешествовать. Сходить в ресторан, в музей, получать какие-то льготы. Никто не говорит, что хочет уехать чтобы сделать общество за границей сильнее, что желает платить там налоги, соблюдать местные правила. Ох уж это общество потребления.
Некоторые начинают бизнес за границей...
Я думаю, что это нормально, что люди думают о своём будущем с позиции пользы для себя, а не с позиции пользы для государства. А то, что вы написали, - это очень пафосно, я бы очень удивилась, если бы услышала от кого-то, что он хочет уехать за границу, "чтобы сделать тамошнее общество сильнее", я бы посчитала, что человек говорит неискренне.
Уехать и путешествовать - разные слова, когда говорят "уехать" явно подразумевают иммиграцию. Даже на англ. пишут "leave", а не "trip"

@@angelinak.4868 Человек явно живёт в обществе с сильной социальной сферой, которой, возможно, пользуются приезжие (те же пресловутые пособия для безработных). А менталитет европейского общества в целом устроен немного по-другому, это так. Для меня было ШОКОМ, в ответ на моё возмущение прогрессивным налогом, услышать, что если человек сумел подняться до высокой зарплаты, то справедливо, что он возвращает обществу, которое помогло ему подняться (например, дав ему бесплатное образование, возможность стажировок, льготный проезд и т.д.).

Странно - одной рукой россияне ненавидят украинцев чуть ли не на клеточном уровне, радуясь бомбардировкам мирных городов, а другой создают совместные семьи. Чудны дела твои, господи.

@@Twinsen_doc где родился, там и пригодился - это всегда было оправданием ленивых людей, не желающих что-то менять в своей жизни. Если в стране допустим не развита наука, а у человека есть желание ее изучать, он по вашей логике так и должен всю жизнь провести где-нибудь в деревне, работая трактористом? Да и понятие «родина» - слишком расплывчато. Сегодня одни границы, завтра - другие.
Обидно за путлера должно быть, а не за то, что люди свои жизни за бессмысленную войну не хотят отдавать
Проблема канала 1420 в том, что они опрашивают почти исключительно людей до 30-ти, как будто это и есть вся Россия. Интересно было бы узнать мнение людей среднего и старшего возрастов.
Тоже это заметил, но, думаю, вопрос в людях - молодые более открытые для интервью на камеру.

@@YAe71 Пожилые люди тоже нередко с удовольствием отвечают на вопросы, нужно просто найти подход. По-моему автор 1420 просто облегчает себе задачу, опрашивая только свое поколение или около т.к. они ему понятнее.

Russian people who read this: I think you are great people and you are not judged by the decision made by only a handful a people. Of course, you will always love the country where you were born and grew up. It is such a shame that thousands of people are considering to leave their homeland just because some people called "politicians" ruined everything. Those politicians should go to the battlefield and fight off their differences instead of sending soldiers to death from their cozy offices.
on the other hand, it's a terrible shame to die young for someone else's arrogance (this goes for all war of course)

Politicians ruin a lot, especially when they don't let us fight. We protect Russians in the south of Ukraine from the heirs of Nazism who hate Russians. The whole world and Russia itself is washed by the media, but we don’t care - we know what we are fighting for.

Туризм с эмиграцией путают. Да и московские прохожие днем - это либо студенты, либо люди с работой без карьеры (официанты, фрилансеры, агенты, самозанятые). В моей отрасли (ИТ, Информационная безопасность) уехало процентов 5-10 специалистов. Первое время после переезда по знакомым они узнавали куда устроиться в российскую компанию на удаленке из Тбилиси, Казахстана И так далее. Сейчас возвращаются с потерей позиций (когда они уехали резко, то создали сложности в проектах и теперь им мало кто шотов поручать важное). Кто уехал вместе с релокацией компаний чаще (по моим наблюдениям): - не состоялись планы таких компаний (финансовые, не продлились договора или не заключили новые сделки) и не могут содержать команду. Про успешные кейсы мало знаю, хотя и кругозор большой - разрушились семьи. Не все смогли переехать семьей. - потеряли в качестве жизни. Раньше кахдый квартал куда-то ездили в отпуск заграницу в отели, делали покупки запланированные. А сейчас велопрогулка в выходные - событие для них Это мои наблюдения, наверное, есть и другие истории

I find your stuff interesting. I also enjoy 1420. You both help me understand more about the Russian people. I cant say I know "typical" Russian people b/c I really don't know what that is. But knowledge is power.
By the way, at least the beginning of this video was filmed in Latvia, Riga. First I recognised a place, I have been there. Then I noticed there were street signs in Latin alpabet. And then I saw they were in Latvian. Just saying. Some of the video is not shot in Russia. Greetings from Estonia.

Glad you did this!! 1420's own translations are fine for their core audience as they convey the general meaning of the responses. But those could actually _confuse_ Russian learners, especially when Daniil and his team miss a nuanced meaning (or two) in what those folks are saying. Travelling around the world is the greatest and most interesting activity in mt life. I've already been to lots of countries, I like many of them, but to move somewhere is nonsense for me. I love Russia, the Russians and I'll never leave it. A lot of people don't see and understand the difference between travelling and living in that country, where they were as a tourist. It's absolutely different things
The people there are so beautiful and have such bright spirits! Wish we could live in a world where we all could be connected like this

I've been traveling through Istanbul, Georgia and south East Asia these last weeks and it's crazy to see how the majority of tourists are Russians. I wonder for how long this can go on.

How do you know they were Russians, not, say, Ukranians? 😁 I was in the South of France last July. So many Russian speakers there 🤯 but those were refugees. Even we can't tell each other apart really :))

Yep. Europeans love to vacation. In Sweden, during summer, everything shifts to a reduced, slower schedule-because many people are away on vacation. They start with 30 days paid vacation per year.

Полностью согласен. Я провел детство в Канаде, а теперь живу в Москве и вобще никогда больше не хочу никуда переезжать. Москва - прекрасный город, а те кто так хотят "свалить из рашки" просто не представляют с чем столкнуться. Возможно в Европе более мягкие условия, но я бы никогда не променял Москву (не скажу про всю РФ) на США/Канаду по причинам обьективным. Я знал много русских эмигрантов в Канаде которые сильно тосковали по РФ (сам я не эммигрант - родители там работали временно). Конечно, люди с таким жизненным путем как у нас - в меньшинстве, но время проведенное за рубежом заставило меня очень сильно любить мою родную страну. Да в РФ есть свои минусы, но я открою секрет - они есть ВЕЗДЕ. Особенно их много на северо-американском континенте, где жизнь для простых людей абсолютно не мед и люди там максимально трезво (что порой делает их жестокими и бесчувственными) смотрят на жизнь - свойство которое утратили избалованные европейцы и избалованные русские студентики.
I think it's easier for women to talk about this issue because they don't necessarily have to leave the country because they are not affected by mobilization. So for women, it's more of a luxury issue, while men may lose their lives.
Some women also fall under mobilization, in case of full mobilization, the number of female recruits will increase significantly!
It's not a "luxury issue". The government becomes more cruel, the country becomes more and more homophobic... And misogynistic. When the government uses men as war meat it also starts using women as incubators. To give birth to more war meat. So? Laws against abortion. Also they started some weird propaganda of "traditional gender values" out of the blue. Also to switch attention I suppose. The country is full of incels in general. A scary place. I might not need to run in panic since I'm female, but I still panic over the idea of borders being closed. I don't want to stuck here.

Почему не спрашивают чем там собираются заниматься? Ибо некоторые реально думают что знания языка достаточно чтобы там устроиться и жить достойно, а ведь киргизам знание русского не осообо помогает и приходится крутить педали на морозе
у Киргизов образования нет, и крутя педали на морозе они зарабатывают больше, чем могли бы у себя. Иначе зачем они сюда ехали? А большинство русских, которые уезжают и планируют там остаться, это часто обеспеченные и образованные люди, такие кадры нужны во всём мире. Мне после начала войны всё равно продолжают прилетать предложения о работе где-нибудь в Германии, Англии, Испании и тд, некоторые коллеги недавно переехали. Но большинство уехало в Грузию, Казахстан и тд. Но опять же большинство - это те, кто работает на удалёнке, что для принимающих стран выгодно, тк в их страны хлынули деньги. Армения, Грузия и Казахстан уже заявили, что у них ВВП вырастет сильно больше, чем предполагали, после массового приезда русских.

Прожила 5 лет в Европе, выучила три языка (в двух странах), вернулась домой, и только по возвращению я поняла где мой дом и как я сильно скучала по русским людям, языку и культуре. Этот опыт, видать, мне был очень необходим в свое время. Может и все уезжие когда это поймут. А так да, обрести опыт жизни или учёбы в другой стране - это интересно и полезно для собственного развития. Парню на 2:22 - уважение!

Forgive my incredulity: you might in fact live in the United States and are considering moving abroad. However, your handle is the German "Friedrich Schrantz" and "Cleavland" is not how the city's name is spelled. Both of these facts make me less inclined to believe your claim.

As one who has worked in immigrant social services and now lives overseas, I can say that a decision to immigrate should not be taken lightly. It is not all that easy to integrate and establish one's self in a foreign country.

My son and I watched this over brunch and enjoyed it. 2) The young girl who spoke with contempt about her countrymen who chose to leave the country, “like rats leaving the ship,” has already been westernized. This is when someone speaks assertively, but without empathy, logic or self awareness. A merger of confidence and arrogance. Russian women aren’t subject to conscription. Only the men. Easy to hold a high nose when you’re not the one being asked to fight and die in Putin’s wars… Gratefully her friend had the clearer, wiser mind with her response: “everyone needs to make their own choices.” That said, I always enjoy your street interviews with Russian people. Putin's war ?! i'd say murican's puppet's war. we all understand that Ukraine is not sovereign country, it is directly controlled from Washington and we also know who publicly refused the Minsk agreements and this is not Russia. His inital answer was that he is not concerned about being called up. Only ppl recently in the Army have been called up. Even then only 20% of the deployed forces (of any army) are used in combat roles. The mobilized men will be used in support roles and logistics to free up contract and professional soldiers for combat. Its not like hte Ukrainian Army that is on its 7th mobilization and send civilans to the frontlines with as little as three days training.

No combat roll still over 100 has died. Some are refuseniks and don't want to fight as they got poor equipment and officers are absent. Do you lie on purpose or are you just badly informed? Ukrainans now get proper training in west for weeks not days as some Russians get. Ukraine calls it a war and in such they can legally mobilize men.
And that he wouldnt mind participating in ethnic cleansing or murdering civilians in his neighboring country.

leaving your country is a big decision. European countries geographically are much closer and possibley easier to immigrate or visit. In the united states, many people move to a different state for various reasons such as politics, cost of living, safety from crime. and a cleaner, better quality of life to raise a family. i left new jersey and moved to wyoming many years ago. The quality of life in wyoming far surpasses life in large american cities. Each state in the america has its own distinct cultures laws and politics. Thanks for your excellent video

I loved your country when I was there very frequently 50 years ago (sounds a long time, but the years fly past ). I do however believe from friends there that it has got a lot worse now, mainly because of too many asylum seekers. Whether Russia would be a suitable place for you to emigrate to, with the current situation, and the likely extremely dark future expected for that country, I sincerely doubt. Oh, and very many Russian men drink much too much, and they are reknown for treating their wives and partners terribly badly I'm afraid.

As for men, all slavianian men are rude to their spouses: they are warriers who do not want to help in everyday housework, bringing up children. I always learned a little Russian on the side because the country and the culture fascinated me and I wanted to visit a few areas/cities. Unfortunately, that has changed.
Thank God that everything has changed for you. Finally, all this liberal trash brought up by Western media is leaving the country. Moscow is already overflowing with them. It is also desirable that fewer Westerners come here.

По большей степени лишь дурь в головах. Кто-то начал пропагандистскую линию про то что "надо валить" и все, якобы, хотят. Однако на деле подавляющее большинство даже не способно сформировать плюсы и минусы, а особенно СВОИМИ мыслями, а не тем что им где-то говорят. А что касается людей, которые где-то хотят жить побывав в отпуске недельку, они должны понимать что жить и посещать/отдыхать - это разные вещи и есть полно людей набивших шишки на этом. Возможно кому-то это действительно подходит, но на деле можно вместо одного супер-любимого получить второй родной-серый)

Tip: Try to make "local" friends in the country you are going to, don't live too much among Russian compatriots (it is normal abroad to have a few Russian friends too, but try to have not too many of them). @@EphemeralProductions The "why" is always difficult in languages.. The word 'music' is constant among a wide variety of languages. Originally the word was borrowed from the Greeks (mousike). It came into Russian probably from Italian or German in the XVII century. My guess is that the idea of music as a cultural activity or an art form came from the Greeks, which is why we universally use their word for it. Same (more or less) with other common words you've noticed (either greek or latin origin)

Sure young people want to leave, but they only want it because they are eager to travel, to see new places, experience new opportunities.. Most people believe that new place will mean new better life.. And that applies not only to Russians but to any country and nationality. However, what people forget is that starting your career from ground zero, adjusting to new culture and society, finding acceptance in a foreign land are extremely hard. Even if you speak the language fluently, your accent will always label you as a foreigner. You will stay a foreigner for your whole life no matter how hard you try. There are many people who lived abroad for many years but then moved back to their country. If you ask those people why they came back, they will give you the reasons why you should re-consider leaving your country.
I'd add that people wrongfully consider that learning a language will give them some kind of advantage. They don't understand that they are going to a country where everyone already knows that language and this does not make them special in any way.

I think Russian looks the hardest language to learn. All the various other symbols that are mixed in with the various letters are so confusing. That young man wanting to go to New Zealand is very sensible. Best country in the world with the best countryside, very diverse but stunning scenery. It is quite expensive compared to some countries and property is very expensive.

He is rather weird looking himself, not that its bad, but more academic or casual look would benefit a better representation in interwies.
