I like how comey is transparent in the way he explains his thought processes.
Which is a tricky thing to navigate considering all of the things he was privy to that are classified, not able to be discussed due to active investigation(s), etc. - not an easy tightrope to walk. His book was vetted extensively by the FBI to ensure it did not contain any information that cannot be made public at the time of book release.

A good man. He was unfairly treated by both Clinton and Trump because he was too independent.
Reopening a closed investigation, doing so publically and with no evidence of wrongdoing, 11 days before polling day, and doing so without informing his boss the Attorney General of the United States was GROSS DERELECTON OF DUTY. The consequences have been catastrophic. He should be in prison. His Ego took over, he deserved to be fired. Incompetent, reckless and stupid.

The interview should sound like such an irony when thousands of American died today thanks to his decision to elect Trump as the president.

His book is both bipartisan and an excellent character study. His reputation, and character are both irrefutable. And when you see how far back he and Bob Mueller go, his firing will begin to make perfect sense...an unethical incompetent move

What a tough spot I did end up reading this book he was literally in between a rock and a bigger rock. Sucks how it happened but I cannot in good conscience blame him for doing his best under near impossible circumstances.

I know I’m not the best judge of character, but I’m certainly not the worst…that said, it’s really hard not to like this guy…Comey, I mean, not the interviewer whose name I can’t spell (sorry George!)…he seems so earnest. People are very complex and when they behave in ways we don’t understand I think the general tendency is to try and forcibly label them as either all good or all bad…which is a rather primitive tendency and I think on the whole we should stop because it insults our collective intelligence.
