Gaming is a way to do things that we would never get to do in real life, so in a way, stupidity is a core part of gaming.
We escape reality into vanity 😂
you’re assuming our real lives aren’t also riddled with stupidity lol
@@BlueLynx1904 Yes but I doubt you would jump down a toilet, or would you????
Enough said.
I like this a lot, well said my friend - good insight!
Volo’s eye replacement is actually one of the best buffs in the game, so I wouldn’t say it’s a bad choice. It’s far better than trusting Ethel, who doesn’t really help at all.
yes but at what cost? telling everyone that you are not smart? shadowheart will never touch your neener after that...
I love they hid it behind that wall. It's incredibly useful! I saved right before just to see it all play out and never loaded back haha
One of my favorites comes from Cyberpunk 2077. If you don’t knock 4 times, Takamura blasts you through the door 😂
@@WhatIsMatter101 you are still stuck 3 years ago and missing out on an incredible game
Honorable mention, Portal 2 has a trophy for accepting Wheatley’s plea of asking you to jump into a dark bottomless pit, he just asks so kindly and the more you sit there contemplating, the more he begs..
"Oh,wow, good. I did not think that was going to work."
He should've went with "would you kindly" tbh
I got that one on my third playthrough

We know game devs are smart, game devs knows we're dumb and naughty. We both love each other passionately ❤
And thus the best relationship to ever exist
Not all game devs are smart, especially the D4 devs
I'm so cautious that at times I have to humor the game to get it to progress in times when you have to make an obviously dumb mistake to continue. There was this game I played a while ago, I forget what it was, but to even begin the games events you have to use some obviously dangerous item and after trying to figure out what to do for a while, I found out that you *had* to use it.
The Strongbad impression made me smile.
It was pretty great 😂 Love the recent HSR references.
Also in Far Cry 4 if you actually wait for the Antagonist Pagan Min for irl 15min, you unlock alt ending where he allows you to place your mother's ashes and the whole game ends. Very neat.
Also Rockstar NOT patching the swing glitch is a good example
I don’t think they knew we would drive up to a swingset with a car and get thrown into oblivion. 😂
God bless the swingset glitch
@@thetrueriley232 His point is about never patching it, Rockstar knew that this one swing was better fun for us than half of the game itself xD so it stayed through whole life of the game, and it was known fairly fast after the release so they had time to patch it
@@thetrueriley232 ^^^ what he said
that was literally all I did back in the day, mess around with the ragdoll and car physics using the swingset glitch. oh man good times.
Another day, another gameranx top ten featuring _Prey_ (2017) a game so damn good it deserves to be in every single top ten list on the channel.
Still one of my favorite open world games. I still hope for a sequel.
"10 fantastic racing games that came out on 8bit systems.... and number one is Prey" 😂
@@Aeon321seems fair
The sphinx literally gives you an item to carry people with conveniently without using the fast travel method.
Fear & Hunger Reference?? Take my like 👍🏼 Side note, I’ve yet to see a youtuber decide not to censor the monster’s “stinger”. Hope it doesn’t lead to being demonetized 🤞🏼
The Dragons Dogma section is absolutely going to be a classic in a couple years 😂 If only we could do this for so many other games with “Delivery” missions 😢
"They don't know we know that they know we know!" - I'm feelin' Joey's vibes here,. my brain can't keep up,. even if I wanted it to!
6:12 Far Cry Primal had that too.
Wow, Gameranx mentioned Strong Bad! Hell yeah.
I have killed myself more times in games trying things out, than I have died from the actual game itself.
I would say it’s equal for me lol I need to git guud
@bryanhicks3407 One of the things that killed me more than anything else is "what is off this edge."
@@itt2055 please dont tell me we are counting those too lmao
@bryanhicks3407 being a gamer since space invaders and a former professional game tester, I have to explore everywhere and test every game mechanic to the point that I spend a lot of time dead. If there is a way to break a game I will find it so I also spend a lot of time falling through the ground.
As I was reading your comment, I thought you were gonna say "I have killed myself more times in games trying things out, than I have died _in real life_ ".
Repeatedly whacking a defenseless chicken with my sword in A Link to the Past is the first time I experienced this.
I know Skyrim does something similar..damn cultist using a chicken as a shield just as I take a swing at them
“A common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools.” Douglas Adams
Huge shoutout to you guys at gameranx daily uploads at lunch time makes you guys my favorite channel
Every time I watch a gameranx videos, I come to the sad realization that there's never gonna be a sequel to Prey 2017.
LMAO This makes me appreciate developers so much.
Falcon, the Riddle of Futility in Dragon’s Dogma II may be a hard riddle, but the Riddle of Rumination is both hard AND cruel.
I love how you just jump into the hay bale and die immediately. They gave a cool Assassin's Creed reference but also roasted the game at the same time 😂😂😂
Gotta love the Volo one... "Careful... The needle needs to go BEHIND the eye, not THROUGH it!" - Proceeds to literally stab you right in the middle of your eye.
Falcon, your Strong Bad impression is incredibly cursed. I love it
How do you come up with ideas for this series is beoynd me, keep it coming tho!
SWTOR has an achievement called "Worm Food" you get for taking a flying leap in the Sarlaac pit on Tattooine.
Prey is such a great game. I'm glad to see it on list so much lately
In Fable, where you're supposed to spell out a password with the letters H, T, I and S. They knew what we all were gonna do, so they send werewolves after us when we did it
"Maybe you the master of unlocking should take this lockpick" 😂
Ngl, that was a pretty good Strongbad impersonation.
Gotta love stuff like this in games.
8:06 that #5 image "You KNOW I did that sh*T!" lol
I think the spittoons from West of Loathing are an honorable mention. The narrator, as well as the devs know exactly what is about to go down.
While Volo is annoying, he actually knows what he's talking about, mostly. During my Dark Urge play thru I finally listened to him instead of skipping and ignoring, and found his words, while annoyingly delivered, were truthful and accurate. The trade of losing an eye for the see invisible trait was totally worth it.
I did not expect to see Strongbad here. We are old, aren't we.
Bears in space was really off the hook😅
First time I’ve ever heard of the game, looks pretty weird
@@therunawaykid6523 yup
FarCry 4, sitting down at the table at the beginning of the game, finsihes it before starting
Yeah so funny the game lets you finish the game by just waiting for pagin min - I think the fifth game has that as well if you arrest the guy at the beginning of the game
The fifth game let's you refuse to arrest him twice, once at the beginning and once before the final fight Too bad that antagonist was the lamest out of all the Far Cry games
There's also Amid Evil; if you try to go outside the gateway building to try to explore the outside, you'll die & get the "Abysmal" achievement. I know because I did it; I also tried doing it again in the VR version of the game to see if I'd get it again, but I didn't; meaning that apparently, the VR version *doesn't* have achievements, or at least not *that* one.
“Hay bails will break your fail “ 🤣 falcon has a bird brain
14:01 You can say that whole epic quest is... DUNG.
Waking up to a Gameranx vid is always nice.
I had no idea about the homestar runner game! Thats dope as hell!
12:25 Uh, Yurrr Right Gets me everytime 😂
This is the funniest video I've seen in a while. I laughed throughout the whole video. I'd put another like if I could.
Number 5: First time I played this game was a few years it came out. I was like "Wonder if I will die?" Jumped up, got hit and died I laughed when it popped up and was like "00.008% of players have done this" after all those years not many had done that. Also : Mercenary Zoophobia ... okay lol.
this popped up in my reccommendeds and the moment i seen the title i knew it was gameranx and i was right lmao
Don't go here, well screw that I'm going there for sure damnit lol 😂😂
Finding the No Show achievement on my own makes me eternally proud
That first one reminds me of Toxic Bunny, just that nothing bad happened in it, if you deplete all 5k of your first weapon's ammo, you get a complete refill, and also get ammo for all the in-game weapons that have an ammo counter, so doing so in the beginning means you have some of the best weapons from the start😅
Try being a teenager when Resident Evil first came out… The shotgun trap was NOT expected the first time 😆😆😆
Jesus. Strongbad is a total blast from the past! Thanks!
Assassin's Creed Odyssey. When Climbing the Zeus Statue, if you try to use the Dong as a handhold the game tells you "I probably shouldn't do that".
Number 8, Dragon's Dogma 2, I failed the Riddle of Rumination (finding the first Seeker Token) and she did not leave. I was unable to get that particular chest and did not get the achievement, but I was able to complete the other riddles without issue.
You can fail one without her flying off but only one
My favorite was the hole on the wall with ooze coming out of it that you can't see the back of. You're supposed to put your arm in it to get a key. I think it was the first silent hill.
5:25 take the guy to the vase 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 I laughed like crazy
I've never even heard of half the games on this list.
only the most savvy and committed players know to do all the stupidest things
2:23 looks like lebron cosplaying for halloween. 😂😂
Accepting help from from that crazy bard was the best thing I could have done
👍
Good lord, that originjal Resident Evil dialogue was The Room level bad. Wow...
Volo’s help is great! You get a special eye to see invisibility
I'm REALLY worried about the the first place you found a seeker token riddle from the sphinx
I remember playing the first Dragon's Dogma and hating the first escort mission I ever did so before accepting the next one, I would go to the destination and set up the stone for teleportation and then accept the mission then teleport instantly to the destination.
In Resident Evil you could get that shotgun without triggering the trap. There was a broken shotgun somewhere you could pick up and hang on the wall where the good one was and you didn't get crushed.
Cyberia had a bunch of stupid deaths thing too. IDK how many times I killed myself in that game trying to figure out what to do. LOL
I solved the Riddle of Futility by taking the vase to the guy because I wanted to challenge myself. Was pretty damn easy, though, as the vase seemed to be unbreakable...
Prey's achievement should've been called The Red Queen.
Would love to see a “game moments that were supposed to be serious but were really funny instead” video
I haven't heard the name Strong Bad in a long ass time. Right on bud
So with prep time, video game developers could foil a Batman contingency. I’m convinced.
Man I love this channel!
Yeah they sure have some great gaming lists always seem to have ones I can’t resist clicking on
As I thought he was going to mention the cyberpunk brain dance seller that drugs you and takes all your organs.
What about The Secret of Monkey Island?..Of course I was going to wait underwater for 10 minutes to see if Guybrush would die
That ending was brutal 😅
Sooooo 13:21 👁️👄👁️ was not ready for FEAR AND HUNGER TO HIT MY EYES SO EARLY TODAY BUT HERE WE ARE Impressive 😗
That's what i thought, did e just cut off hiss lovestick 😅
you should check "the stanley parable" its fun expereince to do what you are not supposed to do and get very surprising results, its very goofy and fun, would love to see it mentioned in a video
the number 8 in dragon's dogma 2, i was quite dumb dumb, the vase got stuck at the wooden lift station and becomes indestructible and can't pick up. i don't want to repeat it so i read the riddle again, it says something along the "his gaze" so it got me the idea to bring that guy to the lift station and it worked....whew
Dang Faocan, that was a pweddy good Stwong Bad impwession.
Morrowind-Scrolls of Icarian Flight anyone?
Those sonsuv-... 😡
God of War, Kratos The mighty Sparten who took on armies and many gods Also Kratos; Alright Altreus, let's jump into the rift that binds the realms together
10:40 Teleporter works twice in the series. First time is during Stealing the Diamond.
the "but could I?" ich
The helicopter thing was the first thing I did as I saw the opportunity
👍
“Don’t jump” *jumps* “Jump* huhh. Something is up.
I'm not ashamed to admit i let volo give me a lobotamy but that see invisibility ability you get as a result REALLY helped out in the shadowlands lol
13:21 WHAT?! Did, did he just cut off his 😮
The comment i was looking for 😅😂
STRONG BAD!! (Thank you for always reminding me to check my email!!)
I'm really glad Henry Stickmin made this list. Easily one of my favorite games of all time. Kept me laughing all throughout the game.
#1: This must be what Elvis Presley felt like when his end came.
Number one: trying to play Stellar Blade one-handed.
I had the platinum for lords of the fallen within the first couple of weeks before there were many guides if any at all i was literally writing notes on paper and cross referencing several sites trying to find the actual truth in a mess of questionable info. Only for guides to actually come out days later. However i wasnt waiting.
For the Volo surgery, I made a quick save and just let him go through with it to see what happened- worth it for the magic eye
I hate the Sphinx quest with a burning passion."Go find the first source token and bring it back." *Me after thirty hours:* Excuse me?!
For the Sphinx riddle, you can also put him in the Bottle.
"You are knee-deep in feces." 😂😂
Finally an RPG Maker game! Let's go!
Forgot to mention Farcry 4, where you can actually wait when you are told to wait at the very beginning of the game and beat the game 😂
5:57 this is actually based on a real life story from 12th century. When Henry II, Count of Champagne threatened grand master of Hashashin Rashid ad-Din Sinan, that his army was stronger and he could destroy them at any time, Rashid smiled and ordered two of his subordinates to jump off of a tower and they did so without hesitation. Count was shocked, acknowledged that he may have the numbers but these were some unhinged zealots and let the Nizaris be. The main difference between this story and the game is that IRL everyone involved (including those jumpers) knew they were going to die and they did die indeed...
For DD2, I haven't played the game personally, but after hearing your point of view, why don't you just teleport, while holding the vase, instead of kidnapping someone?
