Thanks for all the free information videos you putting out Nick! Always helps me. I remember watching an old video of yours about DCT's and how you turn them off after 3 days if they are not using a good part of the budget, what if they are still profitable is it ok to just leave them on? But then how many DCTS should I have on at the same time? Got about 4 now, is that too many? cheers legend
Depends on their level of spend. I'm not going to leave something on that is barely making a 10% impact on the business
This video is a pure gold 😻 Nick really loved it... Liked it before watching as always... Wanna see more of this types❤ Thanks alot Nick would implement it in my next DCT launch 💪🏻 previous DCT didn't took the majority of spend... However, CPA is fine on that 😊
Will have more posted!
Literally so damn informative , already gave me new ideas for my product 🎉 praying I can scale it and have you as my ads agency guy
Thank you!
Hey Nick, great stuff as always. I have a question, right now im running Facebook ads for my service business, and getting lead forms, however only about 60% of the lead forms actually turn into estimates, im using automation to contact immediately through go high level, but is this just the name of that percent, or is there something I could be doing to get it higher?
Normal for lead forms, you can use the conditional logic inside the lead form to improve lead quality
Awesome video man! I'm guessing that you test these stages in thejr own dedicated ad sets and use CBO. If that's the case, do you use broad targeting for each ad set or interest, or do you create two adsets each for every stage where you could test both broad and interest? Example: Product aware (broad) and Product aware (interest) adsets
Only use broad
Nick! Do you ever run Advantage+ Shopper campaigns alongside your DCT scaling strategy? Curious if eventually moving top performing ads from your DCT into an ASC campaign is ever advised.
No i don't
Hi Nick, do you pick winners based of DCT element (video/text combination) or by post id that gets the most engagement? I currently just look at which video got the most spend with best cpa, same with headline, and copy that post id into the winner adset. Then i’ll leave the dct running until the other one gets more spend. However my dct will keep getting the majority of the spend rather then the ‘winning’ post id in the winner adset.
Always what element gets most spend
how do you run ads in each different awareness stage, structure wise. Would you just put them in one CBO and let the algorithm do the work?
Correct.
@@NickTheriot 1CBO, 5 Adset (adset of each level) or 1 CBO all ads stacked in 1 adset?
Thank you! Probably the single valuable account giving actionable gems for free. Question: So you put all phases on different adsets on a broad CBO...I get that. However, how do you scale daily and aggressively? Do you make a new adset with top creatives inside that CBO and double the budget everyday Or do you create a new high budget campaign?

Hey mna, unrelated to the video, but I've been trying to find the answer everywhere. What do you think of running a carousel? Do you do it or recommend it? What about running advantage+ catalog, do you ever?
Test it out and see if it works for you, i'm not against it, just haven't seen much success for it
Great video,Nick! I have a question related to Facebook Ads..I offer a variety of family gifting products, including Mother’s Day and Father’s Day gifts, gifts for sons, granddaughter, goddaughter, gifts from baby bump, and graduation gifts on my Shopify store. Each gift box contains a necklace and a thoughtful message card, priced between $40 to $90, including shipping. I exclusively sell to customers in the USA. Should I opt for broad targeting or interest targeting? The interests I am thinking to target include Macy’s, Nordstrom, engaged shoppers, online shopping, gifts, and flowers, all relevant to potential gift buyers.
Broad
@@NickTheriot Thanks Nick! I just have 1 question - How many interests should I stack per campaign per Ad set? I sell gift products(family gifting) so I am thinking about creating Adsets with 5 stacked interests. for example, 1 Adset with stacked interests Macy's,Kohls,Nordstrom,JCpenny,Bloomingdale and then 2nd Adset with Online shoipping, Gifts & flowers, engaged shoppers, Facebook paymnt in last 90 days, Mother's day Gifts and so on. Is this a good strategy?
Do you create a separate CBO for each country you get sales from? or all countries stacked together?
Seperate
Hey Nick, at a 50$ daily budget do you recommend testing 3 different personas at once for diversity or should I focus and test one persona and switch to the next if I don’t see any results?
Depends on what market research tells you and what you're most confident in
So, it seems that whatever stage you start at in an ad, you want to end up at least in the product-aware stage by the end of the ad. Or, is it better to end up in the most-aware stage? I don't think I want to offer a discount to someone who may buy without a discount/gift. I guess my question boils down to this. If I create a successful unaware ad, would it be best to end that ad in most aware stage? Or, should I go from unaware -> product-aware in that ad and then create a separate most-aware ad? Is FB algo smart enough to serve that most-aware ad only to people who are produc-aware but hesitant to pull the trigger? Thanks for all you offer. Learning a ton.
Always in most aware of product aware
I always end on aware, I don't always offer a discount. I'll just make a call to action that says shop now lol
Would you put a discount ad in the same campaign that also has DCTs for problem aware/storytelling videos? Audiences are totally different. No?
Yes I would
Really need help im confused. I had successful campaign for 2 weeks for my junk removal business. im currently not using dynamic creative. have three ad sets with 3 ads each in my campaign, I want to add new ads but i dont know how to do it properly. So today i took my two highest performing ads, duplicated a winning ad set and added the 2 highest performing ads into that ad set and deleted all my other ads and ad sets. then i added a new ad set for new ads. did i do this wrong, how would you do it?
There's no reason for you to duplicate the winning ads, just add the new ads to that adset
1:41 in your latest video you mention doing a "big win" instead of going through symptoms. You got an example by any chance?
Unaware: how I did $200k with my shopify store Problem: I struggled growing my store with facebook ads Solution: i found this guy on youtube named nick theriot
@@NickTheriot Appreciate the reply. Instead of "pissing gold", how would you set the ad up with a big win in that example?
@@teethinghyenaperhaps u could say something along the lines of “POV: you no longer burn hundreds on worried visits to the doctor after you found this (new mechanism) to stop pissing liquid gold”
Hey Nick , very good video . I can do better editing in your videos which can help you to get more engagement in your videos . Pls lmk what do you think ?
Cool
I am selling two different phone cases that I think are good in advertisements, how do you think it would be to create a separate campaign for both of them?
I would put them both in the same
Have you ever had success with photo ads only? Also my CPM’s were $80, with high CTR’s any idea how to get out of this? Just spend more? Thanks!
I always do 50/50 to hit both groups of people
@@NickTheriot Thanks so much..
I can't find that tweet that you are showing in the video, did you deleted?
I didn't delete it
@@NickTheriot Still i can't find can you share please?
I have clothing brand for tall people. If my hook is "tired that all your button up shirts fit short on the sleeves?" Is that unaware, or is that problem aware?
I wouldn't use that hook, I would just go to solution aware and call out what your product does, as someone who is tired of shirts fitting short on the sleeves, wants a shirt with longer sleeves
@@NickTheriot thnx man!
Do you put all ads in the same ad set regardless of what awareness stage they're at?
Correct
when you add new ad sets to your winning ad set, how many ads do you put in there? unlimited?
As many as I have that are winners (ads that take overall spend for the campaign)
I honestly thought you were the person behind their ads!
lol nooo not me
Nick, do you ever experience top-of-funnel search groups operating at a loss while other ad groups function as retargeting and drive profits?
This is why I always look at overall business performance when a new dct takes off and gets majority of spend
Dumb guy voice continues to be on point.
Haha just wait till the next 4 videos, i went hard filming them yesterday
First
NICE
Okay, clickbaiting, why not
ohhh noo you caught me
When you want to scale a campaign you duplicate it with a higher budget right? Then do you turn off the old campaign? Or keep it on
I just increase the budget, i never duplicate campaigns
@@NickTheriot i remember in a previous video you mentioned duplicating a campaign and increasing budget tho
@@jethrohou2451I’ve watched all his videos and he’s never said anything about duplicating campaigns. This’s something you would do if you went down the ABO campaign route, which honestly won’t work in your favour in the long run due to ad fatigue. He just goes broad, focuses fully on the creative, and turns on campaign budget optimization I think what you’re referring to is he used to transfer the winning ad combination from his DCT adsets into a main adset with all the other winning ads. But he no longer does this, he just tests creatives & scales them in their own DCTs now
