  • One of the best kung fu movies ever made never understood why the cut these scenes of the monkey fighting snake or the cat fighting the snake in the snake in the eagles shadow The drunken master was one of the best great all round movie which I saw when it first came out and still enjoy it

  • These choreographed - much REHEARSED - fights from those old Kung Fu movies we used to watch, and enjoy, during our childhood, appear silly - very SILLY - unrealistic and funny now. Even Jackie Chan acted in such movies, but thankfully, grew out of it. Fortunately, Bruce Lee was never a part of movies with such funny action choreography. That said, got to admit these movies kept us quite entertained for quite long in the 70s and 80s.

    • Not all movies look funny. 36th Chamber of Sholin, IP man all 4 parts, return to 36th chamber and 8 pole diagram fighters are awesome fight movies till date. nothing can replace those ones. Even Jackie Chan's drunken Master Part II amazing fights in the movies

    • yeah when i was young after watching this i walked around the house pretending to be drunk ....to learn the balance part of the art. I did avoid some ass whooping strikes from me mom though i must admit.

  • Eso se llama ka serpiente bajo la sombra del mono el estilo del Maestro Borrachin o sea lo combina el estilo de la serpiente y estilo del mono. Una combinacion bien dificil y muy sacrificado y complicado para pelesr con oponentes bien dificiles. Algo asi.

  • The sound effects is this old school martial arts films is ingenious. Even though effects technology wasn’t advanced back in the mid 70’s to early 80’s. Even modern films lack the imagination.
