I love this song,I found it on my own and instantly loved it, years ago. it seems what we've seen in many cases is that it's their company that failed them in some way, maybe the company stopped doing a good job of supporting the group & spending the amount of money it takes to keep promoting a group, their projects, tours, shows, albums & fanbased events with the amount of money & the intensity thet the group deserves and then their momentum may start to lose traction. I can't help but think how it must feel for the artists once their label is not doing a great job at being behind them. I'm sure it affects the teams moral, because stress is not good for creative, artistic talented people, it takes energy away from them. I do think some labels try to back too many groups and soloists all at once, and then they don't have the manpower or ability to really do their best for each group.

5 years ago when this song first came out, I remember it being downloaded on youtube. I was in a hospital bed, I had a fracture on my right leg and an ankle dislocation. This was the ONLY thing in my downloads folder on youtube, and my hospital hardly had any wifi. So I kept it on loop. My dad was with me, visiting me from malaysia and got me a bunch of different plushies. My mom was with me, actively taling care of me for once. Im here now, 2024 on a sunday, my mom sold off my plushies (or just wont tell me where they are), my dad passed away and I never got to live with him and go with him. I'm listening to this song on loop again, trying to cope with everything thats happened through the years. I try desperately everyday just to feel something, and coming back here I realize how these things I thoight were so little like the music I listened to, helped me so much through everything I went through. I dont even listen to kpop anymore, I'm literally hardcore alternative music and a metalhead, and yet just listeninf to this song makes me cry harder than any of those songs have. Thank you, Pentagon.

The reason 'Shine' never got a win? Because people only loved the song, not Pentagon as a group. You see the many comments saying "I'm not a fan but..."? that's exactly the reason why. People loved the song and everyone danced to it so Pentagon was able to promote for 6 weeks, but nobody voted for them. People still continue to listen to 'Shine' which i *love* since it's so iconic, but 80% of the views are from people that don't know any other members besides Edawn and any other songs besides 'Shine'. Mystery solved. Please support Pentagon from now on.
