I am American and I get what this guy is saying ( he is kinda weird though ). Please note that people from all over the world can end up big stars in America. I can think of several off the top of my head. It is very possible! Dimash is destined to be super successful, and will make a big success in the American music industry. There is ( lots of ) Love over here!
He could use a mentor for support over in America like David Foster who has sponsored other international singers. One duet with David Fosters wife,Katheine MC Fee, or an appearance on a late night show could open the door for him.

Очень интересные и познавательные рассуждения у информационного артиста JK: он старательно прокладывает тропу для Димаша в американский шоу-бизнес, потому что, кто, как не американский инфоартист, знаком со всеми законами американского внутреннего шоу-рынка, где всё измеряется количеством проданных дисков, а сейчас ещё добавилось количество просмотров в соцсетях, но измерять талант артиста количеством материальной заинтересованности публики в его творчестве - это очень спорный критерий его таланта. Далеко за примерами ходить не надо, кроме феноменальных вокальных данных и колоссальной музыкальной базы, имеющиеся у Димаша, нужно банальное везение, как произошло это у нашего соотечественника Иманбека (за это мнение у нас, в Казахстане, в соцсетях буквально раздраконили нашу легенду Розу Рымбаеву, меня, вероятно, тоже), но это и в самом деле так, как и с Билли Айлиш, которой повезло родиться в США и, вдобавок, в музыкальной семье, где родной брат ей пишет песни. А Димаш не полагается на везение, а имея то, что он имеет, гениальный певец медленно, но целеустремлённо продвигается вверх, потому что время работает на его высочайшее творчество, которое выдаётся не на сиюминутные потребности публики, - его искусство создаётся на века.

El tema con Dimash es que su música no es comercial al grado de gustar a un público muy amplio y a un mercado donde parecen consumir siempre lo mismo. A nosotros sus Dears nos gusta todo lo que hace porque aprendimos a apreciar y a amar su música y la profundidad que cada tema contiene,pero para ser comercial las letras no pueden ser así,sino más bien fáciles,rítmicas y movidas,cosa que la gente se las aprenda y las baile o las use en las fiestas etc,es un tipo de música descartable,hacen muchas canciones así,es como fabricar pan ,y Dimash se toma su tiempo con cada una de sus canciones para que salgan perfecta en todas sus formas,son pequeñas obras de artes cada una,incluso las que parecen fáciles y más pop como fly away. Si el se aventura al mercado Americano tendría que cambiar mucho su estilo o de lo contrario dudo que se vuelva demasiado popular a pesar de su prodigiosa voz,como muchos dicen “es demasiado perfecto y por eso no llega” , el mercado Americano es complicado para alguien como el,criado en una cultura tan conservadora. Ojalá pueda lograr su sueño sin dejar de ser el Dimash que conocemos y amamos, que nunca cambie su esencia por la fama.
Well said. I KNOW Dimash will NOT compromise his artistic integrity. And I will be surprised (and sad) if Dimash DOES NOT breakthrough in America/The West. He has the potential to make the American market bend towards him like Elvis, The Beatles and MJ did. He has what it takes to raise the quality of commercial and "non commercial" music. Here in the UK if it were not for KZhead reactors I would have never discovered Dimash. It’s kind of depressing to think that in order to make it in the mainstream here amazingly talented artists from all around the world are expected to change to accommodate western taste in order to be given airtime rather than being accepted for what they are. I hope that the recent movement towards more acceptance (BTS/Blackpink etc…) will continue to grow and expand beyond K-pop.
Very interesting analysis. I agree on Love Over Here. My favorite song unfinished as it is. I also thought John Legend would be a good one to partner with. I also saw he was looking for a rythem and blues material. What ever he picks just bring the emotion and he will get there. Hope to see more of you in the future.

Димаш "впитывает" музыкальную культуру разных народов, можно сказать, что это изучение только убеждает, что что бы он ни пел, это прозведение будет с восточным колоритом, с народным казахским акцентом. Он же уже сказал, что его миссия в том, чтобы мир запел казахские песни, чтобы именно они стали популярными. There are all kinds of “experts” floating around who will promise you a path to stardom. The top 25 today is garbage. Dimash is far and away beyond popular Western artists. Dimash brings virtue. The west is decadent and self absorbent. They will tear him down because they cannot compare. Dimash brings new musical structure which is badly needed. The typical formula song today is old and tired. Rap, shallow pop and sterile studio creations has been force fed to the youth and thats all they know. Its a sad thing. We need change....not more of the same. The world needs its standards lifted. And...Super stardom brings hazards. Both personally and artistically. Dimash doesn’t need it. How much fame is enough? Look what it did to Michael Jackson? A beautiful soul destroyed by western super star machine. Its an ugly place these days. Don’t push Dimash onto the west. There is plenty enough exposure through the internet. Let the west come to Dimash. If he gives a concert in the states.....let them break the box office doors down willing to shell out hundreds. Dimash is a legend. He doesn’t need Billboard or a Grammy to validate him. Those institutions are washed up. To most Americans, they signify mediocrity, not quality.
Well said. "Let the West come to Dimash". My point, exactly. Just remember Dimash still says HE wants to breakthrough in America/The West and win a Grammy and he knows how important this market still is. The biggest, last, most difficult for anyone to conquer that has brought so much incredible music over the last 100+ years to the world that Dimash has said he admires. So we will support and warn. There's still 10+% quality in the US "show business" industry...as Dimash has called it.

Music artist Prince Nelson is a bit over 100 million (and rising) in total recording sales.
Prince would be the perfect example artist for Dimash, I’m sure he went under Dimash’s radar since his music wasn’t downloaded on KZhead. Prince was equally an artist, who mixed diverse music styles. Maybe a bit on the naughty side for Dimash, but part Asian. So they have a lot in common.

Взлет в США начинается с 2016 года после эры Wings. Заглавная песня Blood,sweat&tears пришлась по вкусу всему миру. В 2017 году ребят приглашают на такие церемонии как AMA (american music awards) и Billboard music awards, где их ждет не только собственное место на сцене, но и первая награда в США. Южная Корея все еще пытается игнорировать успех группы, заблокировав эту новость почти во всех сми. Однако фанбаза США неумолимо растет и в 2018 году BTS уже можно назвать одной из самых мощных групп. Их песни находят отклик все больше и больше, и попадают в десятку чарта хот 100, делая их единственной корейской и в целом азиатской группой, достигшей таких результатов. Сомнения в их масштабности отпадают во время мирового стадионного тура. Так, на концерт на стадионе Wembley ребята бьют рекорд по продаже билетов(менее 2 часов), принадлежащему до сих пор Майклу Джексону (1 день). Компания добавляет 2й день из-за большого спроса. Пока диванные эксперты обвиняют BTS в излишней самоуверенности (ведь даже Свифт и Бейонсе так быстро не продавались), все стадионы проданы в кратчайшие сроки. Итак, крупнейшие стадионы США И Европы покорены. Директор компании по продаже билетов в США в 2020 г в своем интервью сообщает, что в первую минуту в очередь за билетами на сайте был уже миллион человек. Однако тур 2020 отменили в связи с пандемией. Еще один показатель - физические продажи. Тут говорится о скачиваниях, однако, BTS сильны в физике, что является более ясным показателем востребованности артиста. Не все готовы тратить деньги на дорогие альбомы, имея возможность скачивать и стримить на муз платформах. Уже 6й год бантан показывают свое влияние на рынке. В чарте бб хот 100 в 2021 году они стали самым частым номер1. И рано говорить о выходе из игры. Совсем недавно они установили очередной рекорд как самый масштабный стадионный концерт в Лос Анджелесе и сейчас анонсировали в Лас вегасе. Самый большой фандом в мире несомненно принадлежит им. Но всем есть место на олимпе, и быть королями есть равная возможность у всех. Ведь BTS начинали с самых низов, и мало кто верил, что такое возможно. Но как мы видим, надо трудиться и верить. Не стоит пренебрежительно к ним относиться и умалять их достоинства. Они достойны уважения как невероятно трудолюбивые, упорные и великодушные артисты с вдохновляющей историей. Диарсам желаю удачи💜
To Di- BTS are awesome as I say and the biggest so far in the American market from the other side of the world. And DEARS are doing great helping Dimash. And Dimash is the greatest in my opinion. But you should not treat BTS with disdain and belittle their dignity. BTS deserve respect as incredibly hardworking, tenacious and generous artists with an inspiring story. Go BTS! GO DIMASH! Plenty of room for all good artists like from KPop and DPop!

Билборд в моём понимании, это прежде всего коммерческий успех у масс обывателей. А не показатель таланта того или иного исполнителя. ИМХО К примеру та же Мадонна. Я её не перевариваю. Первый раз услышал её в 1983 году, она там что то пищала... Никогда эти все топы, хит парады и прочая чешуя подобного типа для меня небыли авторитетом. Короче мне на тот Билборд фиолетово! Как то с пол года тому (примерно) я ехал в топике и крутили там какой то топ 20. Я хотел блевануть от этого дерьма! Простите за мою прямоту.
Опрос надо проводить в среде реальных профессионалов от музыки, а не у людей на улице. ИМХО Как правило основная масса людей хавает тупую попсу. Их вкус не развит, и тд и тп.
