Those who know Berjan know that he is not a disrespectful person, on the contrary. I think it is a mental conditioning at the start of the fight, especially for his beginnings ar the Glory (which is a big step for him). The stakes are high at this time for him, not to mention the stress. It's a feeling that I don't know, not being a fighter, I just try to put in his place.
