I love how an animal that's capable of snapping a grown deer's neck can at the same time be gentle enough to carry its cub from the neck without hurting it.

I was looking at that like Yikes, carrying it in her jaws and mouth. Had to be weird and uncomforting for the baby.

When the box flipped on the cub, I was like “oh no “ Wildlife SOS India, did amazing work for the cub.

India surprisingly does well for their wildlife. I mean just look at how the numbers for Royal Bengal Tigers and Indian one horned rhinos population have risen through the years.
I take it the box was to keep the cub safe whilst her mum came looking for her. So heart warming xx

@@neonblkholeI've seen a longer, unedited version of that scene and she knocks it off herself, which frightens her enough to dart away. Which is why you see her further away after the lid is gone, before she feels secure enough to come back

I was on pins and needles watching mom trying to figure out how to navigate that box her cub was in, so glad they were reunited!

Yes me too. I was crying then holding my breath hoping she could get her little one. The cub is so tiny and helpless. Wildlife has a hard time living with humans. Thank God these men knew what to do.
I know!! And, when mom looked like she was leaving, I was about to cry. Then she came back, and you could tell she had a plan. I got goose bumps after she freed her baby, and took the time to lick him (I assume to remove the human smells?), and make sure he was okay. Kudos to the farmer and the workers for calling Wildlife rescuers to treat the cub's paw. It didn't look like a serious burn, although it was pretty red. A perfect ending!!! ❤🐆🐆❤

First off I just want to say that baby was the first "red" leopard I have ever seen period. I hope he grows big, strong and produces more like him. Second my heart sank a second when the basket flipped over because that made it harder to free him for her. You could see she was terrified of being caught. Glad the villagers were so understanding and kind.
wildlife sos is an incredible channel...they save precious animals that you cannot believe recover...thank gawd that baby was reunited with mom

@@alora89 So why was the board on top of the box missing from 2:08 on? What caused "burnt paws"? STUPID STUPID STUPID VIDEO.
The farmers were probably burning the cane harvest debris and they'd do it with a big flame, never expecting a cub unable to run away to be in the middle of a human-trafficked area. The fur was singed, but not burned off, saw no blisters or open areas on her toes, so should be a first degree burn that they treated properly. The lid is because predators could snatch her, but big cats have been proven smart enough to solve various "get the meat" box puzzles. Knocking a lid off was easy for her, but kept the cub out of rain, wind, sun and hunters. Hope that helps you a bit :)
This was a bit stressful!!!! The poor Mama wasn't sure how to get to her cub, despite the fact that all these rescuers were trying to reunite them. So glad this had a happy ending for them both!

@@toxy2343 It's probably really awful audio quality tho. Trail cams tend to just pick up static or foliage, they're not really made to properly focus on the subjects.

Where have you read or heard that some people said that animals as a biological group have no feelings toward their young? That's a blanket statement. What's your source? Some animals, such as snakes and turtles that lay their eggs and abandon the nest have no feelings toward their young but no person has made such a categorical statement about all animals.
