You need to be VERY good to employ long guard and not get hit. It's not safe for the average joe. Body & legs are wide open and also vulnerable to the uppercut! High guard is generally safer for most instances!
Is long guard for streetfight Stance too?
Yes, think about old school Brazilian jiu-jitsu they always had their lead arm out
What is the best takedown for street fight ?
@@prl1343 I wouldn't put much emphasis on takedowns in real fights. You want to stay on your feet in real fights. This is true incase of multiple attackers and bad ground surfaces. I think Judo throws would be better than wrestling takedowns in street fights.
@@prl1343 If I had to pick Id say a double leg. Honestly though, I’d pick a throw over a takedown in a street fight scenario.
