  • You need to be VERY good to employ long guard and not get hit. It's not safe for the average joe. Body & legs are wide open and also vulnerable to the uppercut! High guard is generally safer for most instances!

    • @@prl1343 I wouldn't put much emphasis on takedowns in real fights. You want to stay on your feet in real fights. This is true incase of multiple attackers and bad ground surfaces. I think Judo throws would be better than wrestling takedowns in street fights.
