There is that moment when you have the right weapons and armor and enough health that you fear nothing but that pants shitting fear on a new play through when you realize you aren’t there yet is real. Similar to trial of the sword late in a play through. Holy crap how do I get past all these black bokoblins…

@@magicgadget exactly. trial of sword is actually fun to test your skills and knowledge of the game, but doing three times, especially on the last one is so nerve wracking. a new playthrough with all the knowledge you have from your first is easy, but a permadeath playthrough is kinda scary lmao.

Quick tip: your armor doesnt affect whether you get struck by ligthning or not. It only looks at your bow, shield and sword. You’re free to wear the phantom gear even in thunderstorms.

To grab the master sword early, try putting the campfire right next to the sword. That way, if you stand next to both the fire and the sword, you should be able to see the pull option (for the sword) and the sit option (for the fire) with Link only turning in the direction of whatever your facing (for instance, if your facing the sword, the pull option should be there. But, if you only turn Link to face the campfire, you should see the sit option. The option screen should never disappear). Then you look up at the sky and spam A. Because you can see both options at once, when the pull option shows up after you're done passing time Link instantly grabs the sword. Hope this helps xD

@QuinBoBin you need to place Links view in a specific spot UP on a tree - some KZhead videos will give you the exact spot. Otherwise it won't work!
@@pelicanine I do not believe that it really matters, just have the fire close and look completely up. I have done it from multiple orientations and lookig at different things. Might be more reliable to place the fire in a certain spot and look at the second branch to the right but Im sure it is just personal preference
It may look like Quin is just running away but the enemies are just ignoring him bc they are too scared to fight Quin.

quick tip: all the monsters kept seeing you from really far away because you were whistle sprinting, which stiff functions as whistling so they hear you from far away.

The ”Everybody! How’s it goin’?” At the start of each video fills me to the brim with joy
fun fact: link cant die as long as his health is 100%, because it is coded so he has at least a quarter heart, as long as he has 100% health, but even if he only has a quarter heart missing he can die (in one hit i meant)

The Woodland tower is always one of the first towers I go for, because the Royal Claymore on top of it is so invaluable at the beginning of the game. Always make sure to go back to it after every blood moon.

And not that you have forgotten that an arrow to the eye of the baby guardians kills them. Because, honestly, watching you frantically climb ice blocks was way more entertaining. Flawless. But most impressive of all? Your warrior’s cry at 5:31. That was truly magnificent. 😂👏🏻👏🏻

Quin The way that enemies get stronger is that when you kill enemies they give something like xp and when you pass say 500, all enemies rank up (except for some ie ploymus lynel) Killing a blight ganon gives you 300 so you don’t have to necessarily beat a divine beast for enemies to rank up to the next colour

To the running away rule you should add that you can’t warp away from an enemy, you need to run away and lose them before warping. It’s all up to you though Love the video😊

Not sure if you already knew this but iron sledghehammer does 4x times damage to stone bois. So instead of 12 dmg it does 48. I dont think they one hit you with the full phantom gear. I think you’re safe to take on ones that have the stone on top. Ones that have the stone on the back are for when you have a strong bow. Edit: you dont actually need a torch to get trough lost woods. You can follow the direction the wind goes, imo its a lot easier way
The torch is the easiest way to see which way the wind is blowing though...

I got to Eventide Island in the most interesting way. The first time that I did it I just used Ice blocks the whole way. I forgot about warping so I was scared out of my mind. BotW is my favorite game and has been for 4 years.
Another one of these because they're fun :) This episode of permadeath run, Quin: - Answers the tutorial shrine's foolish request for a parry with a display of his god-like parrying powers - Causes the tragic suicidal deaths of an entire black bokoblin clan (RIP) - Feels his soul leave his body during the first permadeath run wind bomb - Is humbled by Rock Man - Immediately regrets the words "eventide island" before the words even leave his mouth - Contemplates the judgment and disappointment of the shrine mummies when they see the tomfoolery being performed by the Hero of Legend - Engages in a staring contest with forest Ganon - Faces phantom trees in retribution for ignoring Hestu's cry for help - Does not in fact go to see handsome fish boi this episode :( And: - Watches the goddess Hylia cry an inordinate amount of times over his bad decisions "Confidence is key and I have all of it." seriously Quin, how do you make everything you play so silly, hilarious, and fun?
I got BoTW for switch for Christmas and have been inspired by this to do a permadeath challenge. I’ve already lost two runs, both in 20 minutes from starting the game. I’m not even on master mode

Might wanna finish a normal run before attempting a Permadeath, to gain the knowledge you'll need for strategy in the Permadeath.

Make sure you do all of the Korok Trials shrines before you do the Master Sword glitch! Otherwise they'll get locked out and you'll lose out on some spirit orbs. Those could be precious hearts later on in your run!

I think the enemies scale based on how many of that type of enemy you've killed. I went around getting a bunch of shrines and activating all the towers to fill out the map and was seeing the silver bokoblins before I got to my first Divine Beast

Hey Quin, thanks for another hilarious video! I don't know if this has been bought up before but you can kill bats with bombs really easily. Lay a bomb and run away, when you're out of range, detonate. If you time it just right, it should hit and oneshot the bat/s that are following you. It takes a bit of practice to get the timing right (and not blowing yourself up) but a big strong man such as yourself should find it super easy. Excited for the next episode. Why is this game so good!
For the fire, make sure you see the pull message before sitting at the fire. Then mash like really hard because there's like a 2 frame window to grab it.
Quin is a master at making my anxiety and heart rate go up with this series🤣

Rule for runnning away suggestion-If 3 weapons have broken you can run away, but no throwing them to cheat, if they break on a throw it doesn't count

Oh I don't know if you know this, but whistle sprinting, even though it doesn't finish or even make the sound, enemies will detect you as if you was full on whistling regardless. So you are super easily detect if you do that trick for speed.

I must say you are very brave doing this challenge, I honestly could never do it myself I would be absolutely scared and nervous especially with the rules you've set yourself. I'm being serious when I say you're brave for doing this, I would most definitely get myself killed within minutes of it due to the fact I would do something stupid, especially if I'm nervous and I'm not thinking straight.

If you want foodstuffs go to Satori mountain! It’s covered in foodstuffs and has an apple orchard! Apples for days! 🍎🍎🍎 (And some hearty durians. If you cook one you get a full heal with a decent number of extra hearts.)

You've got the right idea with early master sword you must need to not be facing the campfire and instead facing forward Basically stand inbetween the 2 facing forward and then press the sit prompt and spam A until you get the master sword
