  • Dr. Andrew Jones your videos have always been excellent. Not too long, not too short, and right to the point. You explain the issue and give solutions. Some people talk forever explain lot of things and no solutions. I've been following you for years. Thank to you, I understand more my two dogs a Shepperd and a Labrador. You really know how to attract your audience not only for your sweet personality but very important Your Honesty, Good Heart, and Dedication to Our Dear Elementals of the World, the Animals. They are Gods creatures that take care of us, even though some people think the opposite way. They have a mission. You may not know you are a Lightworker, your mission is to help us to take care of our pets. You are blessed to be in KZhead keep doing that We All Need you. You can help us with a video in how to take care of older dogs who seem to be ready for going to the other sight. My Shepperd is old and barely walk, he looks very weak and doesn't do much activities. Again, I love all of your videos because they are very informative and teach us a lot. Your Vitamins and Products Are EXCELLENT. I highly recommend them. Love you Luz Baron

  • My family and i went to Colorado for a month. My youngest daughter didn't transition well. The first week she got sick. The climate was effecting her breathing and her skin. By the end of the first week my poor babies skin started to crack. Took her to the docter twice that week once for her breathing and then for her skin. They gave us a script. Tried it. No luck. We tried all kinds of moisturizes and lotions. Nothing worked. So the 3rd week we took her back to the docter. They sugusted another script. On our way out a Indian lady stoped us. I had noticed her checking out my daughter in the waiting room and trying to get her to laugh. Anyways. She said use cocanut oil. We tryed it and it worked we got results the next day. Amazing. Later i ran into her again. She was actually staying in the same hotel. I thanked her again and she was so happy to see my little one smiling. To us this lady was an angel.

    • @@tiffanyv4205 Tiffany, thank you for your response. You might try a little benedril cream or spray too. I've used it on my dogs from time to time. dachshunds are such great dogs! Yes. My dog has long hair so I had to clip it back a bit, I used a wash cloth with some cool water, dried it then applied the coconut oil. several times a day and added less as it got better. Benedril will not cure the itch, but will take the itchy feeling away, so I would sometimes use it first wait an hour or so then add the coconut oil. My dog had developed a really bad hot spot. As the coconut oil started the healing, I stopped using the benedril.

  • Hi Dr. Jones. Is this ok for puppies as well? My Yorkie female is 3mths old. I noticed her skin being extremely flaky right after I got her. Organic coconut oil and shea butter are a staple at my house as well as a host essential oils. I brushed her real good and applied the coconut oil to her skin right before bathing her with oatmeal shampoo and oatmeal conditioner. It's been 2wks and I'm noticing the flakes have come back and she is scratching quite a bit. I will try applying the coconut and shea as you suggested. Lol I was afraid it would make her look to greasy. Your advice is greatly appreciated.

I have noticed that the topical prescribed flea treatments (even though such a small amount is placed along the spine) always leaves my dogs with dry and flaky skin all over their body. We changed his food to a quality salmon based to see if that helps. Vet tested him for mites, negative. He is losing undercoat in a front to back succession.
