LYRICS
Why do all the monsters come out at night?
why do we sleep where we want to hide?
why do I run back to you like I don't mind if you fuck up my life?
Another day, another headache
in this hangover hotel,
getting used to the rhythm,
yea, I know this beat too well,
tunnel vision’s got me feeling like you're the only one I see,
but I know what's missing when I'm swimming,
in my lonely luxury,
I'm wondering,
why do all the monsters come out at night?
why do we sleep where we want to hide?
why do I run back to you like,
I don't mind if you fuck up my life,
why am I sucker for all your lies?
strung out like laundry on every line,
why do I come back to you,
like I don't mind if you fuck up my life?
I'm addicted to the way you hurt,
the way you contradict me,
I swear everything looks worse at night,
I think I'm overthinking,
I don't care who I might hurt along the way,
I'm fucking sinking into every word,
I don't care if you're lying when I'm drinking, so
Tell me pretty lies,
look me in my face,
tell me that you love me,
even if it's fake,
and you can lead me on,
and leave these questions in my sheets,
I'm under it,
I made my bed and I'm still wondering,
I'm wondering,
why do all the monsters come out at night?
why do we sleep where we want to hide?
why do I run back to you like,
I don't mind if you fuck up my life,
why am I sucker for all your lies?
strung out like laundry on every line,
why do I come back to you,
like I don't mind if you fuck up my life?
(Dead)
Thinking about you,
you're in my head,
even without you I still feel dead,
why do I run back to you like I don't mind,
if you fuck up my life,
Dead
Thinking about you,
you're in my head,
even without you I still feel dead,
why do I run back to you like I don't mind,
if you fuck up my life,
I'm wondering,
why do all the monsters come out at night?
why do we sleep where we want to hide?
why do I run back to you like,
I don't mind if you fuck up my life,
why am I sucker for all your lies?
strung out like laundry on every line,
why do I come back to you,
like I don't mind if you fuck up my life?
like I don't mind if you fuck up my life?

    • @@Anelle1386 I think its both. Demi has come out and spoken about being sexually assaulted and the guilt and shame she felt because of it. And the fear because the person who assaulted her she had to continue to work with. Those things can lead to addiction, using drugs and alcohol to numb yourself to the self loathing and fear.

    @Ahleeyuh@Ahleeyuh2 жыл бұрын
    • DOUBT. Her voice HAS boundaries, for example hard rock or metal. Doesn't fit. Someone just tried: Anette Olzon, pretty similar type of voice and wasn't deep enough for Nightwish band. Its good for pop and rock bands, because, the voice can not be dominated by hard guitar riffs and fast rhytmivc precussion.

    • @• ○ AvaWasHere ○ • actually, I don't care. If I would tell anybody, how I want to be pronounced, I'd be forcing everybody around to force thinking about that difference and to make them think, if they make a mistake in pronunciation, they're gonna make na sad and angry etc. That's emotional blackmailing and THAT is offensive. I think it's too fashionable to be a different gender and famous people need to be in attention. So, if it's not someone from my family, that says "I don't feel like he or she" and don't tell why, I don't care. I have a lot of things to care about, pronunciation is one of the last.

      @SPGM1903@SPGM19032 жыл бұрын
    • @@SPGM1903 Assuming you're a dude, that's the equivalent of calling you she/her all of the time. You'd want someone to stop calling that wouldn't you? Or is that emotional blackmailing as well?

      @despacitobby8797@despacitobby87972 жыл бұрын
    • @@despacitobby8797 honestly? No matter if you believe me or not, family owners or someone known I'd please not to use this form, that is up to my genetic gender, informing that I don't feel like "he", rather more like "she". I'd dress like that, use that form for my own presence. For new people I'd be using girls name, but that's connected with appearance. If I'd use girl name and dress like a dude, wear jeans, have a beard etc, I wouldn't be seen as a serious person. A pronoun comes with outfit and behavior. Want be a dude - dress like dude, use dude words, walk like dude, maybe have a beard and moustache if possible. If you want be a girl, don't wear beard and moustache, behave like girls, talk like girl. Want be asexual? Be neutral. Want a mindfuck for others? Have a dress, have moustache, high heels, female perfumes, but what's the point? Want to be a walking circus or what? If you want to change the world and way of think, you have to destroy everybody's way of thinking about gender, but better have alternative for that, otherwise forcing others to use YOUR way of thinking and be angry and sad because noone uses that actually is not only blackmailing, it's communism/marxism and that's even worse than all above. You probably are from western Europe or other country and did not have any touch with Iron Courtain remains - you wouldn't get it why it's not q good way and why it came with millions of deaths. So yes, Demi is famous, want be in attention, like BMW or other companies were changing their logos for a rainbow version, because of MONEY. She's wearing, behaving like girl, she walks, talks etc like "she", it's just famous to be nonbinary, because people that actually feel neither him or her, are paying attention to Demi and give a real money. That's monetizing the movement. So: if I'd feel like a girl, I'd do anything with my behavior and outfit to make the others be without any doubt about my gender and make them think they I'm anything but not a dude. Forcing others to use another pronoun that I'm looking like it's just rude, bit nowadays people doesn't seem to care about it, it's all about ME, ME and nobody else. About feeling offensive like a kid without any distance to themselves.

    • @@SPGM1903 Did you just type an entire essay in KZhead comments over a person getting you to try to see a specific point of view? 1. Outward appearance and expression has nothing to do with gender. There are men who dress like women, women who dress like men, and all of the many genders between and outside of that spectrum who also choose to dress however they please. If you meet someone on the internet who doesn't show any behaviors of a stereotypical male or female, do you still use she/her and he/him for them? I'd assume not. 2. I'm American and you ignored my question entirely. As you are now. The way you identify now, how would you feel if someone used a pronoun that did not properly correlate with how you identify. how would you feel. 3. I am nonbinary and go by they/them myself. I present however I please whether that be feminine or masculine.. I am not forcing people to use my pronouns, I am not guilting people if they accidentally call me he or she, I am a person who simply asks to be referred as what makes me comfortable. If you refuse to answer my question because you have no argument, simply don't respond. Curb your stereotypes and get with the world's new program.
