Making wooden cup .
Thank you for watching.
Make a cup of wood from a log. Cut the outer circumference of the material processed with Making wooden cup.
Drill a hole in the handle part, drill the corner and prepare it.
The katana we are using is called a thin chestnut cutter.
It is a cutting tool suitable for detailed work, and it is a handy tool with a lot of appearances.
I sharpened a knife before shooting, so the sharpened juice has gone into the nail.
Those who make their own cups for camping etc. can do DIY if there is a drill for woodworking, a knife, sandpaper, please try by all means.

........ Caught myself drooling over those giant shop machines.... Belt sander that's like 3ft by 8in and a drill press that rests in the cloud's! The cup was amazing but those tools were god mode
It made me so happy to see the kind of work you do.
Very well done. Each one is unique, that to me is what makes wood working so satisfying. You can make thousands of objects yet each one will be different from the first.
The coolest thing in this whole video is that tiny pneumatic belt sander.
I find the shape of your mug incredibly beautiful !!!
You are a creative artist with wood! I love watching you create and use so many different tools! Thank you for the honor of viewing!
very interesting seeing Your work with knife
Absolutely gorgeous! I want one!!
I loveeee Kuksaaaa 😍😍😍😍
This would be the traditional way of making Finnish Kuksa. When you use a birch gnarl, your kuksa will last a lifetime without splitting: kzhead.info/sun/fJuDo7qEq2SfpI0/bejne.html and this is even better, boil the thing to make it last. kzhead.info/sun/f82lnreufaNojHA/bejne.html
What a beautiful piece of workmanship, I like this a lot!
Beautiful work!
Very good!
Great mugs! Good luck to the master!
Nice and beautiful
I think it’s beautiful 😍. I love the music too! 💃🏾💃🏾💃🏾

Any daughters I can marry? I'm a bit old for adoption...but I want one of those mugs.
Domo origato
With 1st cut of cup you can make a tea net
Nossa,que lindas amigo!🇧🇷👍👏👏👏👏👏👏🇧🇷
Legal amigo resultado final e bom
So satisfying
Great job.
Beautiful done
so beautiful
Im from Finland and I did these in school!
I've never seen someone so skilled at shaping wood on a bandsaw! Man...skills...
That maybe so, but there is not very much evidence of any real carving skill.
Dont believe he claimed to be carving them
Try Sam Maloof.
sir good work
Exceptionally beautiful work. I can't imagine how you can make these at a price people would be willing to pay, and still leave profit for you. You're a true artist and I admire your work.
Maybe you can survive in rural Asia on those cups. In the US you'd be selling them for $1000/ea to afford basic healthcare and a mortgage, both of which are inflated by crony capitalists.
erNomic cant you find some other place to spread your garbage? No one wants to hear that crap.
@@erNomic Funny how capitalism is how you are able to be on this page. Ha ha ha.
@@JoelReel Yeah, no it's not. The internet was built with taxpayer funding, socialism. Capitalism has since monopolized it.
@@erNomic keep drinking that kool-aid. Peace.
Great blades 🙏
Scary sharp carving knife👍
Crazy sharp knife + super dry wood = smooth sanding free surface. My fillet knife isn't remotely close to being as sharp as his!
Espectacular...!!!!
Just finished my cup today:)
Linda!!!👏👏👏Manda uma pra mim!!!
Uauuu!! Fantástico!!!
Beautiful pieces of work. Imagine how long it must have taken before all the power sanding tools used in the video. Either way a beautiful cup I would never have the skill or patience to do myself.
What can I say !! Just woow
Very Good Very Nice 👍 your Working and your Video Beautiful thanks so much Goodbye 👋 next Video 🌹❤️
Super
Beautyful
I hand carve mine from a Birch Burls. Not so machine produced- but it is only a couple- just for me.
Beautiful craftsmanship! What finish do you use? Thanks.
GOOD!
Would love to buy. Am in USA and tried the two sites you indicate on your website. Nothing there to show they support your products. I do not own a kuksa and your's is the first one I have seen I would like to have. If there is a future solution I hope you will share it so we can support your wonderful work. Thank you.
I really wanna know what you use for the finish and what before the finish !!!? That semi glossy finish is absolutely perfect 👌🏻👍🏻 well done
I guess we’ll never know
Did you figure out the cost?
wow !
Need one 😁☕🍵🍵☕☕
Who's enjoying the sounds like me?!
Mag cantik boleh buat cendra hati.
way to go cool
nice
Hermoso
Good
Nice work bro, i realy like you work and would like to ask you wich wood you are using and thanks again for charing.
Very interesting to watch. These must sell for $50 a piece with the time you put into them.
Sweetheart, an authentic lapland kuksa can sell for as much as €500! Work _that_ out in dollars!
I like..it...bro
Wow that’s quick. Lots of experience
You really have nerves to cut like that. Awesome work
I suspect he's been practising that job!
Wow
*good*
Hello Hokuto, I love this kuksa! You do beautiful work. Will you please tell me where I can buy one? Also what is the capacity of this Kuksa? thank you
lol
hokuto59.com/shop/ is his shop. It says he can't ship them to the US, probably because the wood is oiled and not sealed with a laquer. Some of his cups are sold on www.radnor.co/accessories/mogu-cup-lg
lol
Beautiful
They're sold someplace in NY
I would like to know what kind of carving knife he has. Great work there!!!
Porfect
Türkler her yerde
What wood are you using? Awesome!
