  • Respecting for showing that the name "Palestine" was given by the Romans. Truth is, the local Arabs only started with all the "Palestinian" talk after 1967, which is when they realized that they couldn't win against Israel without affecting global opinion and the radicalization of their own people. Saying there's a Palestinian people is just as disingenuous if the other side would claim that "Israeli" is an ethnic people. There are Jews, and there are Arabs. There are Israeli Jews, no Palestinian Jews (since it's illegal for a Jew to live in the Palestinian Authority's territory). There are Israeli Arabs, and Palestinian Arabs. No matter your stance on this conflict, it's not right to twist history.
