9:46 Tom Papa talking about New York terrorist attacks just over 2 weeks before 9/11 is absolutely wild.
Oof, I know, right!? I was gonna say, "That bit did not age well." lol 💟☮
thought the same, that was WILD lmao Tom Papa migh be the greatest ever just because of that fkn timing
yikes! caught that.
It's even crazier when he mentioned almost died while being on a plane as well.
"Pour a beer on my own ass, sing Journey tunes..." I spit out my drink 🤣
Papa is So prophetic with his bit about security and terrorism in NY.. this show aired August 27 2001.. 2 weeks before the 9/11 attacks
Tom Papa is a real pro. He was made to do this! He’s funny as hell one joke after another, and he doesn’t slow down that’s hard to do! And he’s been doing this for so many years and constantly comes up with new material! And his 9/11 prediction was certainly right on the nose
"Your head won't fit in the helmet..." 🤣
Kinda look like a cross between Jim Carey and Jack Nicholson. Great set as usual.
And Fred Savage. With a little twang in his voice of Christopher Walken
I see it now that you said it! 😂
I don't see the Jim Carrey, but you need to throw in a pinch of Vince Vaughn too 🤣
Guy is amazing 🤣🤣🤣 laughed from start to finish ,and I mean laugh laugh not just giggles what these other comedians give you
😂 Tom Papa with hair 😅 golden ❤
Very funny. Loved the photo pose moment.
One of the G O A T
I see slim shady I click
Exactly what I did 😂
I saw spanked with a naked gi joe so i clicked
🤣
I see Tom papa I click
But is he the real Slim Shady?
What a classic
So i can right away tell he bakes bread 😂
20 solid minutes. Dude was funny. Good work
.....is funny....
@@ZOMBIEHEADSHOTKILLER you know that scene in TDK when the joker squinted and pointed at Lau in the television screen? That’s what you just made me feel like. Have the day you’re blessed with dude.
@@ChrispiTheInFallible i dont know what that is supposed to mean............. im just saying, tom papa is still alive.... still making jokes.... still funny..... check out his podcast "breaking bread with papa"
I mean that’s fine too thanks I’ll check him out. I think the original context I spoke in was fine. I meant WAS as in here, on this video. Could even be applicable with wherever he filmed it, HE WAS funny. So both works
I love Tom Papa 🤣😂😅👍👍
2001, eh? Mr. Papa is easily in my top 5 comedians.
yet consistently bombed on tough crowd
That's weird, (the part when he's joking about NY and the terrorist threat) I looked at the original air date of this & it was August 27, 2001. Foreshadowing or psychic??? hmmmm.....
I just wanna say great set!!!! Not so many comedians do well with story lines
Awesome honey... thank you for sharing this special, I had never seen this one... 🤘😎😂✌❤
2 weeks before 9/11. He knew it.
Whoa
this set really was indicative an another era.
This aired 2 weeks before 9/11. He called it with the terrorists… not the subway but the terrorists.
Why does he look like if Jim Carey and Jack Nicholson had a baby? Lmao
When i need to feel like a regular american. Tom Papa.
He was so young he still had hair what a funny guy for so long🎉
Sounds like a title of a Chuck Tingle book.
Great 😂😂😂😂😂
Good fun, and nice suit!
He aged well, he's a gem! Then and now, super funny, great delivery.
Wow, I really like this guy!
He was very funny, from beginning to end.
funny funny guy ......and still is.
That was great.
Pigeonholed social media comparison addiction 6 years before the iPhone.
He's been around for a number of years and he's been funny the whole time😂
Yay
Childhood photos? We didn't say "cheese" when our dad was taking the photo. Nope, we said "horse sh^t." It was hilarious as a child, but kind of embarrassing when I got older.
This guy is F-U-N-N-Y😂😂😂
😂😂😂
"Shut up, child 😢, you're scarying me" 😂. I'm only wearing boxers
Mark Norman must have studied this guy. Very similar cadence and timing.
❤
I love this guy.He looks less funny than he actually is.
Different tone or delivery than he has now. This is good, but he has improved so much. I guess he’s just quicker here. Wonder how long ago this was. The MTV & VH1 makes me think a few decades ago
Kind of reminds me of the cadence of Dave Attell
According to the description, 8/27/2001. 🤷♀️
@@jessdoll3970 thanks. Don’t see that anywhere
23 year old video.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I love that you label the close captioning "Tom"
I never noticed before I was a drummer, but that's a kinda hot beat.
He looks like a late 80's early 90's TV sitcom character... Like a young, slender, big headed John C. Weily
Jerry Costanza
He's been doing comedy for a long time.
El Beasto :)
45 secs of applause its crazy had to skip that 3 times
He was around 33 years old when this was recorded. I .. just turned 36. Wtf.
So he’s been funny a long time!
I havent watched a second yet... I looked at the date because he looks young.... and this is from 2 weeks before we were attacked on 9/11... it was a different world...
WTF? He once had hair? (This, coming from a bald guy...)
Reminds me of Anthony Jeselnick a little, the type of jokes, funny stuff!
Is that fake laughs put in? Or why do they all sound the same
There are plenty of shots of the crowd laughing. This was filmed in 2001 so the tech was terrible. It’s just bad audio
is marshal matters going to sue you now
14:28 Bleach, not soerm, is I think many of the spots in that oft cited viral news magazine video. Bleach also reflects UV. Even worse many whitening beaches have a fluorescent additive to make surfaces and clothes look “whiter than white”.
You commenters are acting like he's dead. He is totally alive and on tour. Really need watch your past participles people.
I’m not laughing
Are ind 4 minutes in nasty weight stigma. Ruined it!
1. This was filmed in 2001 2. He was talking about his own weight and bullying that he experienced. 3. Do you even like comedy? Bc based on your comments on this channel you’re looking for reasons to complain. 4. You can’t expect everyone to be perfect, you’re gonna have to release some of that judgement if you hope to enjoy stand up.
Lame
It was a pre-9/11 world 🧓🇺🇸
Haha she not tht hot i jut hate loosing lol
I miss the days you could tell the truth about muslims.
The truth? The Christians have killed far far more people than the Muslims. Just a little fyi. But, I do catch your drift, and I agree that we should be able to say whatever the heck we want when we want to.
@jonathanstatham88 you can say whatever you want when you want to. But there are consequences to your actions in any era.
He says terrorists. Not Muslims.
Tom had the social media showoff thing sussed before it was a thing look at me look at me pretending my life is great 😂
