  • In Germany not working because all digital and not analog Signal. Back in childhood, it worked best with a CTR TV when everything was still analogue. At that time we only needed a piece of antenna cable and a grill grid to connect it. We were able to receive public broadcasters and the picture quality was really old vintage. But in the 2002 vintage, all peoples need an analogue receiver device in which we could receive everything via a dish Astra. From the 2012 vintage, the analogue signal was completely switched off and all peoples had to buy a digital receiver for the television. From 2013 there was a flat TV in Germany with a built-in digital receiver to have more space on a TV board.

  • Ahh yes, back in the day here we used to use rabbit ear antennas. Sometimes putting aluminum foil on the ends or the antenna but the best thing was when I had my little brother grab both ears of the antenna, lift his left leg and stick his tongue out while I strapped a piece of aluminum foil on his tongue. Worked well till he got tired and fell down.

    • 確かにアンテナ無しでもテレビは映るし、アンテナの代りに針を挿しても映るけど世界中のテレビと言うのは大袈裟過ぎですね。 日本国内でさえきちんとしたテレビアンテナにパラボラアンテナ付けブースター迄付けても映らないチャンネルが有るのに世界中のテレビチャンネルが映る訳が無い

  • 確かにクリップとかでテレビアンテナの代用が出来るって言うのは聞いた事が有るけど、流石に世界中のテレビが見えると言うのは大袈裟過ぎると思いますね。 だって狭い日本国内ですら普通のテレビアンテナやパラボラアンテナとかを使い更にブースターを付けても見れないチャンネルが出て来るのに世界中のテレビ番組は無理が有るでしょ

    • ほんとにタイトル詐欺ですね。 ただの自作地デジアンテナです。衛星放送すら見れませんし電波は真っ直ぐにしか進まないのに丸い地球の裏側の電波をどうやって拾うのか考えればわかりますよね。

  • That is a bit of a stretch but you can get your local channels - I do this with my customers so they have tv when cable or sat goes out.

    • Exactly. The range is very limited to close local channels. Note the higher up you get the small 'rabbit ears' the better the reception.

  • We used to have a name for something like this: rabbit ears. The two extendable, straight, thin poles that could also be repositioned. Sometimes, they would come with a circular wire between the poles. Unfortunately in America, we can't do that anymore. 😢

    • Same here in South Africa, everything has gone digital now. You NEED to have a set top box to get any sort of signal now. Flipping pain in the ass too, weather just gets a bit crappy and pop goes your signal and your Saturday afternoon football game...

    • @@jimgilbert9984 we don't have cable TV as you guys have there. We have what we call DSTV. Abbreviation for Digital Satellite TV, to which you subscribe at an exorbitant amount per month. We've only recently over the past few years started getting fiber-optic cable for internet connections going here which now allows many who can afford it to get streaming online channels like Netflix and Hulu and many other now in their homes provided they have a suitable SMART TV or seperate set top box device which acts as an intermediary of sorts. Personally I just download what I want to watch from a number of sites that have pretty much everything you'd find on the streaming sites. I watch wat I want when I want. Once done I delete and download the next season or series or movies. Actually busy downloading some of the latest movies now as we speak.

  • Instalo antena faz 30 anos e posso dizer com propriedade, isso só vai funcionar se a tv estiver próximo a uma torre de transmissão,ou seja, com sinal forte, caso contrário, não vai funcionar mesmo.

    • Négatif. Le répartiteur UHF est à l'envers. (une entrée et deux sorties) Donc le signal ne passera pas. Et je ne vois pas ce que "Signal Satellite" vient faire dans le titre.

    • @@bodeine454 because it would only act like rabbit ears and maybe pick up local over the air signals. but in these days even over the air signals need a digital converter unless you have a digital tuner in your tv. secondly to view satellite stations or even cable stations you would need a decoder box, they don't just send the signals out there for all to view for free. pretty much common sense here.
