昔は食べるというのは自前でやらなければならない、生きていくための修行」
静岡の罠師 片桐邦雄さんのその一言を聞いて、狩猟をはじめました。
猟期１年目は地元の猟師さんの猟に同行し、２年目から片桐邦雄さんの動画を参考にしながら、1人で生け獲り猟をしています。
今季３年目の猟期になります。
我が家で消費するお肉は全て山から頂いているので、冬の間に一年分をストックしています。
この雄鹿で冷凍庫が一杯になったので、今期最後の獲物になりました。
自分の罠には雄鹿がほとんどかからず、特に大きい雄鹿の捕獲は経験が少ないです。
使用してみて自作したツノ取り道具は使いづらく、来期までに改良が必要だと思っています。
この鹿の皮は、ジャンベ（太鼓）演奏者の手に渡りました。
多くの人を元気にしてくれる音を奏でてくれるジャンベになっていると思います。
今から音を聞けるのが楽しみです。

Amazing job. Thank you for uploading such kind of videos although it is very controversial. You try to minimize deer’s pain when you captured him, that is one of the things I admire the most. By watching this video, I learned that every meat we eat is done by someone like you for us. The end customers like us don’t know how the process of capturing and producing meat we eat looks like. There were a lot to learn from this video. We really need to appreciate every meal we eat everyday. That is essential and something everyone has to keep in mind. You should also learn that torturing and stressing and exhausting the animal for so long actually spoils the meat, especially when it comes to deer and other herbivores. And it's also a sick method of "hunting". There, you learned another thing today!

So, to do this knowingly and when there are so many humane means of killing an animal for food, is pure clickbait cruelty. I always enjoy hunting videos.. but somehow this just feels wrong. Why not quickly dispatch the animal? I don't buy the hygeine thing. So many other hunters do it without dying of food poisoning.

生きている鹿を運んでいる分には不思議とダニはほとんどつきません。 山に入った後、特に茂みに入った時は服をよくチェックします。 カーペット用のコロコロなどとても良いですよ。 やすいやつだと粘着力が弱いので、高価格帯のものがおすすめです。
獲物拘束中の荒い息遣いはなんとも言えない感覚になりますね

コメントありがとうございます。長時間鹿を仰向けにしておくと良くないので（胃袋が大きく内臓を圧迫するため）、１分ごとに降ろして休憩しています。というか、自分も１分間以上担ぐのは無理です。

This is hunting at its finest but he would much rather kill the poor animal than let it endure this long torture. What really is the objective of putting it through so much stress and killing it after a few hours?

Please allow me to answer your good question. I realize that many people have no experience with wild animals. There fore they do not know. Tying the animals feet and antlers only immobilizes it to prevent it from running away. This is not torture. It also prevents the deer from goring the hunter. Goring is what happens when the animal runs at the hunter and sticks an antler into the mans body. Sometimes killing the hunter. I have personally been attacked by a deer. Immobilizing the animal for a few hours allows it to calm down and burn off the adrenalin which has been surging through its muscles. Adrenalin can cause the muscle tissue to be tough and taste strong. So everything this hunter does is done to have a superb experience when his family consumes the meat. @@twil7849 , I bet the deer has had a "superb experience" too, struggling in the trap for maybe hours, being wrestled, thrown to the ground, tied-up, dragged down the hill and trenported in the back of the truck for hours. And the praying and bowing, oh, that must have filled the deer's heart with joy and forgiveness. Shooting the animal is the humane thing to do. What this guy showed us we've seen already in dr. Lecter's lessons.

Why watch ?…I do this with feral pigs daily…and I do so for vegan clients as well…the pros of doing it in this manner is, I relocate and let go 90% plus of my catch….

I think it’s a little more humane putting the animal out of its misery personally. They have to be so frightened tied up and transported however far. I understand your reasoning keeping the meat fresh but these are just my thoughts. I’m sure the animals can feel pain and fear.
Some say it's cruel, but food should be treated in the most delicious way possible.

I have shot many of those Sika Deer, from 3 metres to 300 metres, but must try catching one alive now.

Another good question. Taking an animal has been a means for humans to add delicious protein to their diet since before written history. It sustains us. Is it cruel to buy beef, pork, chicken or fish at the market? Each time we do so, we are paying someone to kill and butcher an animal for us. Is it any less cruel just because we do not see and smell the process? Personally, I do not enjoy doing so. However, it is what must be done to manage the herds to prevent starvation and diseased kill offs. If I want fresh, hormone free, and tasty meat, it is what I will do.

How it works in your country , do you have hunting license? In my country this is forbidden hunting with this techniques. It is calling poaching.

生け捕りにする事で衛生的に解体する為です。 解体にかける時間を最小限にする事によって、肉質の低下を防ぎます。

I'm a hunter and dont mind trapping but why keep it alive? Ever been tied up? It sucks. And keep it alive to drive home and what? Cut its throat there? Honestly this is much less humane than just getting control in the woods and slitting the throat there then processing meat back home
